[Q] How much did you pay for your Sensation 4G?

Just wondering how much everyone paid for their Sensation 4G in the end, and how they went about getting the deal that they got.
I am currently an EM+ customer and I called in and they basically told me that they couldn't do anything for me (I said that I was interested in signing a two-year contract). The girl just referred me to the website saying that it was 250 and 50 rebate. I mentioned the $150 walmart price and she says "Yeah I think CostCo has it for like $90 too". bummer.

Please see the thread that talks about Releasing for Tmobile. I know it's big, but a lot of it is discussing peoples deals that they got. There's really no reason to start a new thread for it. I know you know about the thread too because you've posted in it.

I'd understand if it was an issue with the phone that should deserve it's on post, but you're just wanting to know what others paid for for their phones & how much *****ing/politely asking/manipulating the system they did.

Right, which will be useful information for me and hopefully many others. That other post does not state that it's about what people paid or anything. But, now you're making this thread useless with your unhelpful posts.

New contract? Renewal?

Paid just taxes on 249 (that is around $20), and got it on 2 year contract extension. Had to talk with 4 CS reps, before getting this.

Some person will get a better deal than others. I think its depend to whom you are negotiate to.
But the worry point is, some one will not satisfied with others and will complain to their carrier/supplier and in the end all will not get a good benefit due to many complain others get good deal than yours..something like starting a "war" for the good deal..lol..
That's why its better to keep to your self on a good deal. So that the war will not start..lol

I paid $1000 for one in a dark alley from some guy... He told me not to look him in the eyes, dunno why.

I got mine for around $290 not including the rebate.... Is $40 of tax normal?

Just Sold My G2X

Hey guys, well when i first got the g2x i couldn't put it down, but it lost it's luster the longer i held on to it, i sold my ipod touch last year and ive missed it since, i also spent a goo $100 in the itunes store, i decided to move to the iphone and the first step was to get rid of my phone, i know the 5's coming out but i cant afford that , and im not gonna sign a contract, i got $300 out of my G2X, which i think isn't too bad, i am currently looking at craigslist and ebay for an unlocked/unlockable Iphone 4 for about $300, if anyone has one hit me up. Maybe once ice cream sandwhich hits and the fragmentation stops i might come back to android, but until then im gonna be on an iphone, i'll keep this updated with my thoughts/regrets if any, did i get a good price, let me know what you think?

You got $300? What kind of condition was it in? Reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking about selling mine which is in almost new condition. The only way you can tell its used is by looking at the chrome strip on the battery cover under a bright light. You will then see some surface scratches but other than that, there isn't a mark on it.

I just went and looked at what Infuses are selling for, and found an interesting one.
I've either:
A. Found one Devs [email protected] account.
B. Found someone selling one of their roms on an Infuse.
I don't want to post outside links but if someone looks on that site, it's pretty easy to find.
Seems pretty lame of someone to try and sell an others work.
Of course this is a non-issue if one of these devs is the one selling it.

You mean the person selling one with the Gingerbread ROM on it? What's wrong with that? Seller isn't charging EXTRA for the ROM. The DEV doesn't charge FOR the ROM. I think it's a bad idea anyway unless the buyer knows it isn't the "stock" software and what he is getting him/herself into.

New ones in the box seem to go for around 300 on ebay still.

So i'll sell mine for $250 shipped. $475 for the pair. They are att&t. But also one of the easiest phones ever to unlock. I'm glad to do it for anyone that wants it done before shipping. At the moment they've never been out the box.

Not sure how to respond. Because your absolutely correct. No one has any reason to trust me what so ever. And theres no way to change that. But my options are this or ebay. They have lost tons of value as it is because of the length of time I've had them. I'm sure I could get 500 on ebay, but by the time I pay their fee and paypal s fee for the money transfer and the shipping cost I might have 425 left. If you've sold on ebay then u know. And we all know what they cost so the thought of selling a brand new galaxy s for $212.50 seemed crazy. Wasn't sure what to do. I dont need the money but they'll be worth nothing if I continue to hold on to them. Its ok if u dont trust me.

Ha. I didn't know. I'm sorry I came off wrong. I was just trying to get rid of a couple extra phones. I know nothing about "scamming". Can we just delete this post? Its went completely in the wrong direction. Maybe ebay was my best option. Irony was I never thought about selling them in the forum until I noticed the"marketplace"

Just bought a second one for my wife. I'll keep these until the Galaxy Note has been out for a month or two. Loving that 5.3 inch SAMOLED. No reason to go to the SGS2 that I can see. It is awesome, but not that much better than the Captivate.

Sure there is. I havnt sold in a couple years(another reason why I shy away, so much has changed) but i remember paying an extra .25 just to have a pic posted during search. Extra charges if you use alotta pictures. And the charge just to post, and the extra if you sell your item. Things of that sort. My accounts havnt been activated in a while. I went back to paypal the other day just to update that accout. New bank and such. Because i bought a few accesories for the captivate I use now. If the person thats interested perhaps lives in southern VA or northern NC maybe we could meet. I live on the line midway (Halifax County, VA) Or if there is someone you really trust on the forum I could send the item to the first. And when they get it they can let you know. Then I could recieve my payment. Of course it would have to be someone of high standing. I would hate to get ripped off myself. Just know I'm not here to scam anyone. I could take pics of the items if it helps. At least you'd know I actually have them. Beside a printout of this post so you know i didnt just copy a picture from the web. I'm trying here guys. I'm an honest person. I dont care if I sell them now. I guess now I'm just trying to build a little trust.

Just a heads up , I went to the bestbuy store and they wouldnt do a thing for me. They told me since its online only I would have to call in and see what they can do. I will try that and let you know what happens. Worst case I return it and reorder online. Im leading towards that anyways since I have a dead pixel.

I was directed to call rewardzone directly, through 1888bestbuy. They said I could get the $100, but I would need to return my phone and get it from reward zone directly.

Best buy was the only place you could find this phone in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada).. they seem to always have a few extra phones that are in high demand.. the thing is, it usually takes a little while for them to help you out... but at least I got my HOX on release day. the rogers store didn't even have any

All Stores should be getting back in stock this week. That's a sweet RZ deal.
Stores only carry the white in store. Grey is an online/special order.

What did you have to tell them to get hooked up?

All I told them was I received the deal in my email for the 100 dollar giftcard w/ any cell phone purchase (which i did less than 30 days ago) asked him what my options were , return it or if there was something he could do.

I just tried this, and they were snippy with me. They said that I'd have to return the phone. I mentioned that I "had a friend" who was just given the credit, and the rep said "I can neither confirm nor deny that." Sounded like a canned speech.

I am, yeah. I'm going to try again later today just to be sure. I'm interested in hearing if anyone else gets them to do this. I have and like my white one, and I don't really feel like having to go through the hassle of the return process.
