S3 2300mAh Battery - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I just wanted to share the deal I found on a spare battery with 200 extra mAh. I would imagine that this does not have the NFC chip, but I wasn't too concerned with that as of yet since I don't use any tags yet anyway. I spent a little over $3.00 with shipping for one battery. I figured even if it was garbage, I'm not out much money.

Update:
Received this battery today. It was at 68% when I put it in this morning. So far, so good. I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary, like excessive heat.

is it safe to use I9300 battery on our device?

Even the real one that costs $44 does not have great reviews. Will also lose NFC capability that the $44 one has. Should be ok for backup if does not explode in phone.

Fishy.... very fishy... also curious to see how this pans out.

"$3.00 with shipping for one battery" = guaranteed junk

I was given one of these exact looking batteries (can't be sure of brand/manufacturer as they're un-branded but they certainly have the same sticker from the looks of the picture) and thought "what the hell... it's free" and started using it. Less than 3 days in and I noticed my phone getting warmer than usual. Didn't think anything of it, thought it might have been just from me using the phone more. About 5 days into using it the phone started getting REALLY hot when charging. Next thing I knew, while charging the phone, the edge of the battery cover "popped" and was pushed out so it unlatched from the phone. You guessed it, the battery was swollen and HOT to the touch. Hot enough where I couldn't hold it bare handed for very long. Unplugged it immediately, placed it in a heat/fire proof container to let it cool down, but it kept swelling for the next 5 mins to the point where it won't fit in the phone any longer. (Not that I tried, but from the looks of the deformation there is no way it would fit in the battery compartment.)
As they say, you get what you pay for. Why risk saving ~$30 when it can damage/ruin your ~$500 phone! Worst yet, why risk it for bodily harm to yourself or your loved ones?!! (Perhaps this can be a covert way to dispose of/harm your mortal enemies and blame it on faulty junk electronics... hmm...) I'm fairly certain that if I had kept charging the battery there would have been a very likely case of it starting a fire as it was on top of a paper book on my night stand while charging. I can't imagine how horrible I would feel if MY phone had started a fire that ended up hurting or killing someone in the process...
Moral of the story - yes, you might get a battery that works well for you and I'm sure many people have, but why risk it?? My suggestion - STAY AWAY! STAY FAR FAR AWAY!

I actually bought this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330768545772
supposedly 2900mah
comes with 3 batteries and a charger
Now my word of warning: I have used these china batteries before for my other smartphones. They never gave me an issue of overheating or anything like that, but dont believe the power ratings they have. it is NOT 2900mah. Its probably more like 1800mah
I keep them charged and use them in case my phone dies and I have to have a phone right away. I dont use them as my normal day to day battery.

I got two Anker batteries for $15.00. I usually only need to resort to using one of them each week, but I always have a second if needed. I believe for a few more dollars you can get an external battery charger. That takes care of the charging problem.

How about two batteries and a charger from hyperion for $20. I believe this to be a fairly reputable brand. It can be found on Amazon if you search for hyperion. Sorry, it appears I am not cool enough to post links yet.

I can vouch for them. Tested several batteries and it does have longer battery life than OEM

Haven't tested the Anker 2200 yet so I cant say for sure which battery is the best.

I might be looking into picking one up but am leaning towards an external one.

Thanks for the heads up.
I realize that this battery most likely is not a good battery. For $3 it would certainly be a good emergency backup.
It hasn't been delivered yet, but I'll give an update once I'm able to try it.

I use a seidio charge vault that was invaluable when I was on a work trip and started experiencing frequent hot boots on a previously fairly stable rom. Between trying to troubleshoot that and flashing to a backup I went through my battery pretty quick. It is also my go to travel charger.

I just calibrated my battery like a week or so ago so I'm beginning to think that my battery(stock) is broken. Just ordered an Anker to replace it.
Could this be caused by charging from different chargers/sources(like standard htc charger then via usb and or another device's charger)?
Does the battery usage section report the battery usage acurately? Because I think mine doesn't, whether or not my device stays with screen of for a fair time of the time between charges/brightness at zero it still reports screen using the most power
Edit: On PyroICs 1.1.0

You can absolutely damage the battery by using blackberry chargeres, or ones that deviate too far from 5v-1a.

The OEM battery is known to have terrible life. You're better off with either a Mugen or the Anker two-pack.

No blue, I'm going to have to call you on this one. No damage that I can see. Been charging my old G2 with a BB charger for at least the past 4 months. No problems at all.
you'll see it sooner or later, you are wearing out the cells inside it - they weren't made to take that kind of stress.
When i'm not getting ready for work i'll dig up some info on why specifically.

Blue i would say your wrong aswell i used a BB charger form my old Mytouch 4g for about 11 months and my battery still functioned properly as was lasting its standered period of time like always.
What's unique about the BB charger anyway?
I noticed some time back on a previous device I had(ZTE Blade) it would disable the touch digitiser as soon as you plugged it in, though it would still charge the device.
Is it something to do with the way its earthed?

...and I think someone else posted in this thread about using a BB charger and it being fine over time.
I don't care about being wrong on a personal level, no ego or anything like that - i'd rather be corrected if i'm wrong so I don't spread misinformation. So far that's at least two people (quoted from this page, didn't dig further back into the thread - cumbersome to do on the device over lunch through the browser)
So that's some people providing information based on their direct observations, it's up to me or anyone else who has supporting info to provide it to show why trickle-charging at low amperage is bad for the cells in the battery.
Just 'cause it works and you get away with it without the appearance of issues doesn't mean it's good for it or not doing damage.
I once drove my Bronco a little over 300 miles round-trip to camping in the mountains at a remote site. It was carrying all of our gear and the people were riding in other vehicles, and the Bronco was overloaded (by a lot). I only had 2 cylinders out of 8 working, the sparks were shot in the other 6. 3 were down before the trip started, didn't have a chance to change them, and at one point early in the drive I came to a quick stop on the highway from fast to nothing and flooded the engine, causing 3 more spark plugs to stop working (shoulda seen them when I changed them after I got back - 2 were outright broken lol)
The Bronco still pulled it's weight and got us there, was able to keep up and was 4-wheeling off road and lots of fun. Obviously not good for the engine, tranny etc... but it did it, and without any issues.
I've got just over 1600 logged rounds through my Glock since the last time I cleaned it (intentionally - glock is supposed to be reliable and it's a torture test i'm putting it through to see how many rounds between cleaning before a misfire)
Obviously in both cases the manufacturers don't recommend doing what i'm doing. It should be pretty plain the objects spoke about were/are being abused. Yet they function/functioned just as well as if they were being cared for properly.
The abuse of the cells in the batteries is no different then the two situations I described above. They are not designed to be charged at that trickle rate, and doing so stressed the individual cells in the batteries.
I don't have links to cite technical specifics, and i'll have to go out of my way to track down the information to put here to explain why on the technical level. I don't know how soon that may be, but it's important for us to lay this to rest one way or another.
I'd love nothing more then for the information i've put together about lithium-ion batteries over the course of my electronics education to be proved wrong due to new developments in battery technology/tolerances and that you can in fact use something like a BB charger to charge them, but it flies in the face of all I know about proper care of the cells in the batteries themselves so...
Blue is an interesting character, I must say lol...
Either way, I'll take your word for it. You probably know better than me regardless. I was just saying I saw no apparent damage. But then again this damage doesn't need to be apparent.

always nice to get what you love!
seems as if the important thing is not input current, but ensuring that the battery is not 'overcharged'.
Charge currents with Li-ion are less critical and can vary widely. Any charge will do, including energy from a renewable resource such as a solar panel or wind turbine. Charge absorption is very high and with a low and intermittent charge, charging simply takes a little longer without negatively affecting the battery. The absence of trickle charge further helps simplify the charger.

I also have used my bb charger on my g2 and this phone with no problems. I did eventually have a probelm charger the g2 but it was something wrong where the charfger was actually connecting. You would have to hold the phone a seperate way.. had another g2 that was fine before that one though, until I fell on it. 280 pounds > g2

Super OT I know but,
Check out Chuck Taylor's super high round count Glock 17. A million or so rounds through it. Insane. I used to have a Glock Armorer's certification back when I was the Police. Glocks are extremely durable and reliable pistols. The caveat I'll pass on is shoot no unjacketed lead, only jacketed bullets. Too many rounds with Pb and no cleaning can have you eating bits of your chamber... It is hard to write kernel code without the use of your fingers and eyes.
Hastily spouted for your befuddlement.

Battery Not Charging Overnight

Maybe you all can help me out. 2 weeks ago I flashed Virtuous Affinity 2.05. Coming from Unity 2.39, I did the typical wipe cache/dalvik and had no issues. But for the past week, whenever I leave my phone plugged in over night it doesn't fully charge.
I'm leaving it plugged in for at least 6 hours, even up to 8 hours at times but it only charges up to 50-70%. I have checked to make sure the "Keep Display On While Charging" is not checked, yet when I check to see what's been hogging up the battery while charging - I find that Display is issue. Though the display is off during the charge, I don't know how it could be causing it.
Below are some screen shots.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

How old is the battery and is the cable frayed or anything? Try using a different cable and plugging it in to your computer one night. Otherwise, its probably the battery. I would buy the battery+external charger combo in case its an issue with your usb port
The battery is the same as when I bought the phone, so 2 years old. The cable isn't frayed and I have tried using another wall charger and cable with no luck. I eventually reflashed the ROM and it seemed to fix the long charge time. But now I've noticed that the battery drains much faster now with minimal use. I do agree with you that it must be an old battery though.
Have you dropped the phone recently? I was having charging problems and quick battery drain issues that seemed to be directly related to the display brightness, and I thought it was the battery as well. I replaced it, reflashed my Rom, tried different batteries, and different chargers - no help. The only thing left is physical damage, which I looked into and found that the cost wasn't worth it.
Hopefully it's just your battery.
If you don't mind though, if it turns out to be something else, and you can figure it out, can you report back here so I may have some idea whether I can fix the issue myself or whether to start looking for a new phone? I'd really appreciate it.

I've dropped my phone a few times, none that I ever saw affect its performance. I'm not 100% sure but I know the problem is the battery. When I pulled the battery, there is a slight bulge in the towards the middle of it. So I know it is time to replace it.
Due to the timing of this nature, I was already starting to look for a new phone and ended up getting one yesterday, HTC One S. I still plan on getting a new battery for the MT4G and using it as a test phone. I don't know if you have T-Mobile but they are doing a deal that actually lowered my payment plan for unlimited everything, just have to get a new phone. In either case, good luck to you as well!
Actually, my battery had a bulge as well. Either way, it's most likely the battery anyway.
I looked at the one s myself, but didn't like the non removable battery, so I'm going to replace with the Amaze. Works well for me anyway as I'm with Wind (Canada) right now, but I'm thinking of moving in the next year or so to an area that isn't covered by Wind, and the Amaze will work with the companies that do. Yeah, I don't switch phones often - just roms...

16% screen time? Well I can last longer on stock battery
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
I bought an extended battery 4500mah on ebay for $8 a couple weeks ago from ebay. It makes the phone twice as thick, but the battery lasts all day with moderate use. I haven't put my phone on the charger mid-day since I bought it. Being that its a cheap generic battery, there is no brand name and I can't verify the capacity is accurate, but it is getting the job done. I'm at work and can't really give any more specifics, but heres a quick comparison
Pros: 1 overnight charge lasts all day, phone not much heavier, GSAM app seems to accurately adapt, Thicker case seems to protect rear camera and light better without obstructing them. Makes you more attractive to opposite gender (this may be a false claim)
Cons: Phone thicker, loss of NFC chip, longer charge time, must charge from lower capacity to avoid confusing battery estimation mechanisms (under 40ish%) Harder to find protective cases, and old ones will not fit.
the gs3 is the first phone i haven't thought of buying a bigger battery for. i get great life with the stock one, much better than my razr maxx had.
I was about to buy one of these extend bateries, but making the phone twice as thick is a turn off....
Thanks for all the responses so far. What I did was buy another oem nfc enabled battery, and a phone mount charger with battery charger. I am actually getting all day charge with heavy use and switching in a fresh one before sleep. The only reason I was curious about extended was because I enjoy hiking and photography. But unless you get 2 days use it doesn't appear to be much better than buying multiple stock batteries.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
i ended up getting the extended battery from hyperion on amazon.
i live in miami, and lost power for like 2 days over a month back and instantly i realized i needed this fat battery.
it actually feels better when i grip it. and i love that i forget at times to charge and its all good.
i got it for my wife since she is always killing her phone. it goes all day sometimes 1 day and half.
it's funny though because the size may turn you off but size wize it matches other friends of mine who also have the s3 and they over do it with the thick cases and stock battery.
Does anyone know how to reset the phone to give an accurate read out of the bigger battery?
Is there such a need to do so?
With these batteries the specs for a OEM battery is like days in standby. Would not one think that an extended battery would last weeks, and not drain in a day of hanging out in your pocket with little WiFi, calls, and text messages?
I know the ones they sell on e bay and Amazon are old new batteries as they have been sitting in storage and shelf live has caught up to them.
This is the only explanation for such a short time before having to recharge them.
I have never had a brand new hot off the press battery, as I get my phones at the pawn shop discounted. Hence they are already discontinued by the service providers.
I wouldn't even trust buying a new OEM battery from them as there is no telling how long they have had there batteries in stock just sitting there getting old depreciating.

I agree - stock battery is good but I bought an extended anyway for longer gaming sessions.
I use the stock battery when at work so I can use my otterbox, but in my leisure time the hyperion battery rocks. No complaints on the stock battery, liking the hyperion as well.
My complaint is losing data service under 50% battery - hyperion staves that off longer.
But does hyperion really offer more than a day these responses seem to confirm my worries of it not being double as advertised but maybe in the 1.25 to 1.75 range? And if all the stock batteries have been sitting on the shelf how would the hyperion battery be any different? I am really considering investing in a hyperion still because 3 batteries would be ownage and I generally go on hikes for 2 to 3 days and my 2 stocks might not make it. Climbing a peak and taking a panoramic is truly special. But at this point investing in a new case with a hyperion might be more hassle than buying some more oems on the cheap.
Anyways thanks for the responses everyone. And PROTIP storing your battery at 50% in a dry cool place is what is recommended for long term storage. Also I learned recently that letting your battery go through a full discharge and then recharging actually leads to a longer battery life span, by a huge factor!
PS sorry admins and others I just joined this forum and realize this whole thread should have been placed in the accessories section I hope my gaff does not make you think less of me.

How is everyone getting 24+ hrs with the Hyperion?? I seem to be only achieving 12+ hrs with almost 6 hrs of screen on time (wifi on, brightness 30%, sync on)!

DIY extended slim battery!

So, it annoyed me the Galaxy S III battery was 2100 mah vice our 1800, but physically smaller (albeit a hair thicker)

Here's how it looks in the Relay:
Notice the space at the bottom. The pins also do not quite reach the contacts
The solution? A shaver!

this is interesting... is the s3 battery rated at 3.8v too? also, did you really see that 16% improvement in battery life?
Battery life is better yes. And most cell phone batteries are 3.8 volts, and report as "full" at around 4.2 volts, although the app I use for battery monitoring shows the relay is charging my battery to 4.3 volts.

The stock battery life on our phone is pretty decent. But I wonder what kind of extended slim battery options we have for our phone specifially....
Great mod Nard. The S3 battery is very common and I think all aftermarket extended slim batteries for the S3 should work as well. As long as you don't have a problem ghetto rigging it, we can get a lot more juice for out phones. And it retains NFC. Massive plus
Quite intrigued with this one:

Holy cow, an extra 28% battery life for under $5? Heck yes! Just ordered this.
Edit: Don't see NFC mentioned anywhere... I don't use NFC, but just in case I decide I want to start, I'll pick up one of these, and solder the guy on if I need to. Looks to be about the right size.

Be wary, just because the capacity says more doesn't mean it actually is...
I'd love to know your results though

Ahh thanks I see now. It didn't make sense without the picture.
@Nardholio
I have one S3 battery, though from KINPS with 3250mAh that I got last time, which is 5mm thick (1mm more than ours) and should be allegedly same size to the S3 stock one.
But I am not able to close the back cover when I want to use it according to your instruction. that 1mm is definitely too thick and does not let me close it.
would you please confirm that yours is 5mm also or is it less than that?
if the prior, how did you manage to close the back cover?
if the latter, i would go buy a S3 stock battery.
If it's really that tight, I would try and carefully remove the sticker and see if it fits.
Compare it to the stock battery. Shouldn't be much thicker than that

I got a 3 pack of those batteries. All the three of them are just lying at home, their actual capacity was 2100mAh. Besides it didn't charge over 87%, which is 1800mAh approx. Don't know what the problem was, guessing it was the maximum voltage the battery could be pushed to using the phone. :/
Just let them sit overnight, they'll charge more

Actually the big possibility behind this is samsung has a battery overcharge feature...which is why your battery may only get that high...also Another cause might be to check and make sure your charger is outputting 5v 800ma as thats what is required by phone...i use stock charger with my 5000mah extended battery and loving it...gets full charge with both stock and extended battery....also to note...because of this overcharge feature depending on bad flash or similar it may actually brick your batteries (yes its possible). A prime example is i thought my old relay was bricked...when i got new relay i tried charging the battery from old phone and got the bootloop of death like i did on my old relay..so it got me thinking...and i placed battery from new relay and it booted right up as if a brick never happenned..i started to really research this and found ways to prevent this from ever happenning again as well as finding out about the samsung overcharge "issues" .
Besides when i used the battery, it lost charge out quite quickly and when i did a little research on the batteries, i found out given the size the batteries are likely to be fake and that the best batteries are the stock ones. The big extended batteries are however a different story altogether though. Anyway, i'd charge them overnight once and see if anything happens.
Here's hoping to the phone not bursting and burning my house down!!:fingers-crossed:

a good example...i went from 6 am to now 8:30 pm on my extended and its now at 75% batterry....i only paid 30 with tax and stuff total for my extended and happy i got it...again though...a lower voltage and ma charger will cause issues with battery drain and charge as well...like lets say you used a charger from another android device that calls for 4.5 or 5 volts but only 750ma or 500ma.... in terms it doesnt charge the phone properly causing more workload and time for battery to charge properly
I bought the extended battery of mugenpower (2300mah) for Samsung Galaxy S3. I scratched To insert the battery. The time now is charging but the cover does not close. probably also'll scratch the cover.
Soon I will insert photos of the operation.
P.S.
I spent € 37 including postage
Mugen Power battery for s3 in Relay
I am extremely satisfied with the results, the battery life has improved considerably. Now I can get to the evening, with the old battery arrived at midday
I had to scratch the back cover to be able to close.

ZeroLemon 9000 mAh Extended Battery

I was sick of my battery life being horrible no matter the rom or customizations so I went ahead and ordered this bad boy that just came in today.
Initial impressions:
The size isn't that much bigger than the phone with the seidio case that I had... it still fits in my jeans pocket (don't own skinny jeans, so no clue there).
Will update this once I get more time with it and let u know about charging time, how long it last, and if there are any other questions let me know.

Acquired one of these myself. I really like ZeroLemon's battery design - a lot of these cases just bulge out the back where the rest of the battery is while leaving the rest of the phone thin, which is super unwieldly. ZL actually designs their batteries to pack in as many cells as possible over the entire back of the phone, which makes it a much smoother experience.
The battery ended up lasting me a little more than 3 days, which was great. However, I found that the power button was way too easy to press - I had to be careful putting my phone away every time because even the gentlest press seemed to trigger the button and allow things to happen on-screen in my pocket, which is not ideal.
I'll be posting my review later tonight on the Amazon product page. Overall, I'd say if you need a 9000mah battery on your phone, this is the way to go..if you don't store your phone in your pocket. To be fair, with how thick your phone becomes with this case, people who hold their phones in their pockets aren't really the main demographic, I'd say.
I got this battery also. I like this a lot better than the Mugan 6,000mAh I bought for about the same price. As far as lasting 3 days, I guess if you don't use it a lot, that would be really easy. I normally plug mine in every night. But for an experiment I decided to let it go. Surprise it lasted me the whole 2nd day too. But time for bed, I plugged it in after 39 hours I plugged it in at 23%. Compared to stock where I had to charge sometime during the day. The Mugan would last me the whole day. But it is always nice to know that if I needed, I could go 2 days without a charge. A lot longer if I take it easy.
The case is ok, I like the back of the phone better because it isn't weird shape. I hate the other where the battery juts out and the top is skinny. That made the whole phone hard to hold. But this one tapers a bit near the top, but is a lot nicer to hold. I think it was a lot better investment than the Mugan....
I just got this from Zero Lemon. For those of you that have this battery, do you notice that your battery level in the status bar is inaccurate? I charged mine to 100% (which took a LONG time). After starting my edge, my battery level dropped to 97% in like two minutes. Is the system just showing inaccurate readings because of the larger battery? I'm at 93% after only being turned on for 14 minutes. My 3000mah battery did much better that that.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
At first I saw those results and then I would get to 1% and it would last over 5 hours on there. For me I wiped battery stats, let it completely die, recharged it without disconnecting it, let it fully discharge again and it seemed to drain more accurately afterwards

How is your 3,000mAh battery after 16 hours with 5 hours screen on time?
I don't sweat the small stuff... As long as I can a full day + out of this and not be gimping my phone, I'm set... lol
My Amazon Review
I've never used an extended battery on any cell phone before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I loved the idea of getting tripple the time out of one charge so was excited to give this a try.
I'll begin with the battery. The batteries are BIG. I felt that they could have a slightly tighter fit in the phone battery pocket but knew the case would help hold them in place. No big deal. I installed the battery and my phone showed a 59% charge. I wanted to run the battery down as far as possible before fully charging. It sure didn't take long. My phone was dead in only a few hours. So I charged the batteries to 100% while I slept. Turned on my phone and headed for work. In the hour it took me to get to work, (with my phone in my pocket) I'd used 20% of my charge. Wwwhhaaaaat!!!??. I could actually watch my charge meter go down while using my phone. I was so disappointed. I was getting better time out of my 3000mah stock battery. I even posted a help question on Xda Developers for advice on why I'm losing a charge so quickly. One member stated that they had experienced the same issue for the first few days, but charge time improved. So I decided to stick with the Zerolemon for a little while longer. Boy am I glad I did. I'm writing this review on my phone 40 hours after unplugging from my charger and still have 47% charge left. The battery gets slightly warm when charging but nothing to get overly concerned about. It never gets hot while in using my phone. I think Zerolemon had done a great job of designing this power source. My only suggestion for the actual batteries would be maybe a note in the instructions informing us that it may take a few charges to see the full benefits.
On to the case... The case is a nice TPU material with a slight texture that prevents it from being slippery. It slips on and off my phone with ease while still being snug enough that it doesn't come off if I don't WANT it to. I was concerned that it would be difficult to put in and out of my pocket because of the size, but it hasn't been an issue at all. My speaker still sounds loud and clear. Zerolemon has done a FANTASTIC job of making all ports easily accessible as well as my s-pen. I will say that the case has caused a slight lifting of my screen protector where others that I use have not. It's not a deal breaker though. The complaints about the power button are justifiable. It is a bit too touchy and needs to be tightened up, somehow. It hasn't been an issue for me but I can see how it might be for some.
All in all, this battery /case combination isn't perfect. But it's pretty damn close. I'm very happy with Zerolemon's efforts and attention to usability. I will continue to use this battery /case combo for a long time to come.
Thank you ZEROLEMON !!!
Just order mine, icant wait wait to get it. So tired of haing to charge my phone in the middle of the day. Thank you guys for your reviews. Really helped me make up my mind.
That's great, you will love it. All day is no problem, no matter how you use it.

Can anyone show a picture of how the camera, flash, and heart rate sensor area looks with the zero lemon. I want to buy this but want to see how the bezel surrounds that area since I can't find any pictures of that. Thank you!
Hope this is what you want.

Thanks! This what I was wanting to see. So they didn't make the bezel correctly to fully surround the camera and heart rate/flash. Still doesn't look bad... Probably going to buy one tonight! Thanks again!
Got everything charged up and running. I was having some issues with the power button so cut a little piece of paper to fit between power button and ir blaster and doubled it and the power button works awesome now. I will have to come up with a more permant solution later.
I would like to know, does this battery support the adaptive charging feature? Will it still charge 3000mah worth of power in one hour?.or how long does it take to charge? Does nfc still work?
Also no one seems to mention this but there is no cutout for the speaker. How does that affect functionality?

From 20% about a couple hours to 100% But I don't stick around because I plug it in before I go to bed. But in the beginning I did get up to check, so I know it is less than 3.

I would say yes, because I set it up, but haven't tried using it. As I don't really use it in the first place. ZeroLemon says it does.

The speakers work fine. Probably because if there being so much space and places the sound can come out. I don't think the case was meant to be soundproof.
Woke at 9 and took my phone off charge at 100%. About to go to bed and i have 2% left. 7 hours of screen on time. Loving it!!
So I just got this badboy delivered! Man I burst out laughing when I saw the battery. It's so huge.
Questions: I'm assuming the phone can't detect the true capacity of the battery? So battery readings are useless? Any app out there that can? How about when it's charging? How do I truly know of the battery is at 100%? How do I truly know how much juice I got left?
Thanks! Pictures below

You should never assume. [emoji6] it's reading fine on mine. Did you expect it to read 300%? If it says zero, then your phone will be dead. If it says 100%, then the battery is full charged.

How about the "remaining hours" estimate? Is that accurate? Cuz I had read somewhere that it was normal for the phone to stay stuck at 1% for hours or something like that?
