On Samsung devices, TouchWiz is stock. If you're looking for something with a CM, AOSP or AOKP style launcher, your best bet would be nova launcher or holo launcher. Nova only works on ICS/JB, and is more stable, holo launcher works on GB-JB

What roms support widgets

I'm trying to find out what roms support widgets. I have tried syndicate 1.0.2 and now baked snack 1.6 with the baked snack theme and when I go to widgets to put a facebook widget it says widgets not supported. Does any one have any info on this?

I don't know what to tell you. I currently use Syndicate ROM and used Baked Snack in the past. Both of them worked like the stock ROM with widgets. I've never had a problem with widgets on either ROM.
All the roms support widgets. Are u usijng lancher pro? Launcher pro widgets require u to purchase the plus version. Or maybe u don't have enuff space on ur page for a widget?

your doing something wrong...
I am using the latest syndicate with adw and widgets work fine. I have tested most of the roms out there and never had issues with widgets. Try restoring to stock and then reflashing syndicate.

TouchWiz 4 problems

I installed TouchWiz 4.5 from the xda forum. It was fine the first 2 days then on the 3rd day the phone would seem to want to force close but then turn off since TW was the primary launcher. Later that day I switched over to a custom launcher and it never turned off on its own.
Thanks

So are you asking for help on tw, our have you already settled in with another launcher and no longer need any help? i would try fixing permissions in recovery and trying again if you want to keep tw. also, what rom are you on?

I want to continue to use TW and I am running a deodexed and rooted KF2.

I had a similar problem when installing Audiophile 1.7. TW would force close on me like mad. I eventually installed a different launcher which seemed to work fine.

get rid of tw for stock?

I'm building off the stock rogers 4.0.4 rom right now in kitchen, and i'm just wondering how do i remove tw interface for the stock launcher for ics
Just bake in nova, apex, or trebucht. Same experience only much better.

And by bake I assume you mean drop the launcher apk into system/app

Stock 4.3 dialer?

Ant way to go back to old style dialer. I prefer it better over the new dialer in kitkat. Thanks.

Maybe pull it from an AOSP build? That'd be my first place I'd look.

I have the same issue. The new kitkat dialer is not my taste at all. It's confusing. Any possible way to get the 4.3 stock dialer?
As per my knowledge, removing the stock kitkat dialer with Titanium Backup and installing the 4.3 dialer should work, haven't tried yet. Maybe a flashable zip pulled up from aosp build?

Swipe Dialer is a good replacement:
