Intentions:
Our goal is to enrich Googles Jelly Bean experience with cherry picks from Samsungs successful TouchWiz Nature UX environment. It is not a ported TouchWiz ROM, it is based on the very stable and customizable CodenameAndroid ROM.
We decided to include some apps, which were ported by us and other xda-members and some apps from google play to get many Samsung features. We think it is useful and completes the Android experience, but some of you might think it’s ‘Bloat’. So we decided to put many apps in data-partition. That way they can be updated through Google Play or uninstalled like regular apps.
Features &Infos:
- All Codename Android 3.6 Features (see original thread)
- Samsung TouchWizUX
TouchWizUX Launcher Features ported from Galaxy S3 by Froilson, we adopted it for Nexus 7)
- 6×6 Home Screen Apps-Grid
- Up to 7 Home Screens
- 6 apps in dock bar + menu
- Page indicator for quick navigation (Home, Menu & Widgets)
- 6×6 Drawer Apps-Grid
- 4×3 Widgets Preview
- Folders in App Drawer!
- Drawer View Types: Customizable grid, Alphabetical grid, Listview
- Hide applications
- Share Apps
- Very smooth AND responsive performance
Included Apps and Media
- Samsung S3 Accuweather Widget
- Samsung Task Manager
- Samsung Memo App
- Samsung Yahoo News Widget
- Samsung Wallpapers modded with HD Pictures from Galaxy Note 10.1
- Samsung Paper Artist from Galaxy Note 2
- Samsung ChatON
- Samsung TecTile (NFC)
- Samsung Clock
- Samsung S3 Notification Sounds
- Samsung S3 Alarms
- Samsung S3 System Sounds
- Samsung App Icons
- Google Apps
- Flipboard
- FlashPlayer
- MX Player
- Super Video (Pop up Play)
- Playboard
- Astro FileManager
- ROMmanager
- Smart Rotator (important!)
Installation:
1. Flash via Recovery or ROM Manager. It will reboot automatically.
Wiping is only needed if you should encounter unexpected problems.
Known Bugs:
- Touchwiz Launcher Landscape mode: doesn’t work properly. Please use Smart Rotator to disable Rotation for touchWiz App only. 1. Open Smart Rotator 2. Select TouchWiz home and set ‘Auto for all’. 3. Select ‘TouchWiz home’ once again and set ‘Portrait’. 4. Now exit the app and make sure Rotation is locked (check symbol in notification drawer
- Weird Shadows: remove the apps with the broken shadow from the home screen. Adding them the next time everything will look fine

The news widget works without any modification, but the weather widget requires framework, libs, xmls AND touchwiz! It won't run on any other launcher

Same here, otherwise this looks like a kickass ROM.
I wish that Google would come out with a true tablet UI. The one thing I hate abou the N7 is that it just looks like a stretched out phone. They need to develop some type of UI that better uses the screen real estate, gives you a much more immersive experience, etc... The Devs here do some really cool things to help push it in that direction, but at the end of the day we need someone to create a true tablet UI and give it some serious eye candy...
This ROM is nice and real smooth. Also the ui isn't a biggie to me.

This ROM debuted just a few hours ago. On the previous Thread, the Devs explained the ROM's current state. I'm sure down the road, someone will take on the task to make this ROM a true Tablet UI. This ROM is far from being done. I too, love the tablet UI but I rather use this as my daily driver than what I had before.

It's my pleasure. My aim was to adhere to the Android and Facebook SDK coding standards while making the widget lightweight and stable. I'll be improving the downloading speed tonight which should make a dramatic decrease in load times.

Hi ads7112,
I'll be adding the preference for refresh interval, it should be up in the market in a few hours. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by internal vs default viewer? Do you mean which app is opens when you tap on a post?
Steve.

Hi Slither
what I mean is tha you viewer is very nice and light as widget but when you tap on a specific post it requires to open the official facebook that is not so light and fast.
Because other viewers are faster it would be nice to have the option to select the default viewer to use when tapping on the post
Alternatively
It could be used an INTERNAL viewer able to display small pictures and video previews
Hi ads7112,
I'd be happy to add the first feature you suggested since it will still allow the widget to stay lightweight. The option will be configurable via the Stackz app shortly
That's wonderfull Thanks
Looking forward to apply it

I'm not really sure what it could be? I've tested it on my S2 i9100 with both CyanogenMod9 and the stock Samsung ICS firmware successfully.
The only requirements I've put in the widget are :
Screen layouts: SMALL NORMAL LARGE XLARGE
Required device features
android.hardware.touchscreen
I had a look on the net and the three things that might be causing the Play store from filtering your device are if you have changed the dpi to something other than 160 or 240 and maybe if the build.prop doesn't report the correct phone model information to the market.
I've moved around a few image resources to their correct dpi related folders in the hope that was what caused your issue. The updated version 0.9.1 will be up shortly. You could give that a try and see?
Regards,
Steve.
Awesome I will check my build.prop and try the update and let you know. Thx.

Holo Wikipedia is a Wikipedia app built for Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean from the ground up. The app has a split action bar and useful functionality like easy sharing, search, language selection, full tablet support, favourite article and alot of useful settings like font size customization and volume scrolling. Holo Wikipedia can open links that are pressed in the browser so you'll be sure you're always using the app without even having to open it. The app is built with performence in mind without compromising with the features. The app compleatly free and there is no "Pro" version so all features are there right from the start.
Currently working on: Adding NFC features to enable article sharing

Changing the settings does not affect the color of the text and the background so that's not whats being changed. The action bar is the only thing that's chaging color. Can you send me a screenshot with the Holo Blue theme activated and I'll see if you're using the theme.
here is the screenshot with holoblue selected and after a restart of the program...looks like default to me.
It looks great, but.. any chances of Gingerbread compatibility?

Probably not, pretty much the entire app would have to be rewritten in order to give it a action bar on Gingerbread devices and I have no experience doing so from earlier.

That's really weird, it's only one line of code really and there isn't any other way to do it. I tested it on my friends devices and everything worked great there. Are you possible using a theme chooser theme that overrides the normal themes?
A update has been released to Google Play, here is the changelog:
New version, 3.4!
Added support for NFC article sharing, some testing yet to be done but everything should be working fine.
Added support for Text To Speech, you can activate it in Settings-> Interface -> Use TTS. In order for Text To Speech to start you need togo to ->Menu -> Text To Speech.
Attempted to fix the desktop version on Galaxy Nexus bug, please send me feedback if it's still there.

nice launcher, using it in ma aily
Appreciable work! Very nice launcher! Slim & sexy!
Some suggestions I would like to give, you can consider adding them to delight us:
•If you see GO LauncherEX's transitions, you'll find their smoothness is very unique and awesome! Can you please concentrate on smoothness of the transition animations? Also, they are very quick, even though I changed the speed in settings, I found no difference in the speed of transition.
•Also, have an option to set the icon size in dpi on the screen, dock, etc.
•An option to have customized random animation.
•And try to include these transitions from GO LauncherEX:
-Binary Star
-Chariot
-Cylinder
-Sphere
•Icons in the launcher's settings must be holo themed.
Really great work! Thank you so much!
PS: Haptic feedback didn't work for me though I enabled it.

Analogue clock now available
Translations updated
Text Shadow
4/1/13:

You need to remove the old clock. You can do this by making it "full screen" (slide the clock down) and then tap and hold it and drag it to the cross, like you would a home screen widget. Then the new one should be your main widget

For those confused about some stuff still, I have a friend making a screencast video on installing, setting up, what you can do with it and all that stuff.

Is it normal that when I put my update interval to manual in weather that I don't get the weather until I have Wi-Fi? I thought it would do that if I would put some time in it.
EDIT: it seems that it's when I turn off the device that the weather disappears.

Hope this will come to the Ville Special Edition!
Looks nice! If you're interested, have a look at the developer website I created a while ago. Maybe it might be useful for your website for this ROM.
Will try out the ROM soon.

Flashed and I lived!
Stable like a rock , and smooth like a butter.
All work flawlessly. I'm very surprised, after all problems with other 4.2.2 roms!
Will use today, and report for bugs.
Finger cross for completed DD!!

...Dunno, i'm on rootbox as a DD, and never use "clear" CM-rom .
On this no "screen tearing", and its very fast, and snappy.
Will flash bybba kernel OC , to see how goes with it.. :fingers-crossed:

It's more than a super themed CM 10.1, and there can be different bugs, core framework is very different
