[APP][4.2+] CyanogenMod cLock - Better lockscreen & homescreen clock (Update 8/1/13)
This clock is from CyanogenMod, I did not make it. Please do not report bugs to me
CyanogenMod cLock
Tested on ParanoidAndroid Galaxy Nexus
Original Google+ post from CyanogenMod
This clock is just like the stock lockscreen clock in 4.2 but has options for:
- Yahoo! weather
- Font (bold or not bold)
- Option to show alarm or not
- Show next calendar events
- 2 weather icon styles: White or colourful
- Analogue or Digital Clock
Works on your homescreen too!

Installation:
A video to help you along:
Big thanks to Nath Ward of Nathtech for the video!
(Features may be outdated)
I changed the signature to a more consistent debug one. If you are already using Chronus, you need to uninstall and reinstall to update!
1. Download the apk
2. Try to install it normally
3. If that fails, copy it to /system/app
4. Reboot
5. Add it to your lockscreen
Changelog (unofficial)
8/1/13:
Analogue clock now available
Translations updated
Text Shadow
4/1/13:
- New coloured weather icons
- New bold options
- New calendar options
- New preferences interface (icons and lists)

Installs on Nexus7 but weather and calendar don't show.
Edit. Got it now, you have to adjust the widget size on the home screen to see everything. Doh!

You need to remove the old clock. You can do this by making it "full screen" (slide the clock down) and then tap and hold it and drag it to the cross, like you would a home screen widget. Then the new one should be your main widget

Is it normal that when I put my update interval to manual in weather that I don't get the weather until I have Wi-Fi? I thought it would do that if I would put some time in it.
EDIT: it seems that it's when I turn off the device that the weather disappears.

Is it only for 4.2 ?
Its not working on 4.1.2.

It's my pleasure. My aim was to adhere to the Android and Facebook SDK coding standards while making the widget lightweight and stable. I'll be improving the downloading speed tonight which should make a dramatic decrease in load times.

Hi ads7112,
I'll be adding the preference for refresh interval, it should be up in the market in a few hours. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by internal vs default viewer? Do you mean which app is opens when you tap on a post?
Steve.

Hi Slither
what I mean is tha you viewer is very nice and light as widget but when you tap on a specific post it requires to open the official facebook that is not so light and fast.
Because other viewers are faster it would be nice to have the option to select the default viewer to use when tapping on the post
Alternatively
It could be used an INTERNAL viewer able to display small pictures and video previews
Hi ads7112,
I'd be happy to add the first feature you suggested since it will still allow the widget to stay lightweight. The option will be configurable via the Stackz app shortly
That's wonderfull Thanks
Looking forward to apply it

I'm not really sure what it could be? I've tested it on my S2 i9100 with both CyanogenMod9 and the stock Samsung ICS firmware successfully.
The only requirements I've put in the widget are :
Screen layouts: SMALL NORMAL LARGE XLARGE
Required device features
android.hardware.touchscreen
I had a look on the net and the three things that might be causing the Play store from filtering your device are if you have changed the dpi to something other than 160 or 240 and maybe if the build.prop doesn't report the correct phone model information to the market.
I've moved around a few image resources to their correct dpi related folders in the hope that was what caused your issue. The updated version 0.9.1 will be up shortly. You could give that a try and see?
Regards,
Steve.
Awesome I will check my build.prop and try the update and let you know. Thx.

Hi,
Ive just recently bought a Galaxy Note to my collection and I cant wait to start devving for it. But before I change ROMS I wanted to make something for thay everyone can benefit from. So I made a TouchWiz5 UI for the Note which will be featuring in my ROM but for now its for every ROM. This tutorial will give you the SIII launcher, a few apps such as SVOICE and even the Lockscreen. You will need to download some paid applications so beware to buy from the PlayStore or searching the APK on Google would easily do to
TUTORIAL -
What you will need:
A ICS Device (Root preffered)
Some money on your PlayStore or time to Google APKS
The .zips in the download section
Widget locker 2.2.7 from here
Galaxy S3 livewallpaper 1.4 from here
Icon changer from here
Proceedure
- PLEASE MAKE SURE ITEMS ARE ON SD CARD! -
- First of flash either TouchwizUX-1.4-Note-5x5.zip or TouchwizUX-1.4-Note-5x6.zip < Preffered for Galaxy Note users
Non rooted users please take the APK from the .zip but YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE WEATHER WIDGET unlesss you install them seperately
- Install all the APKS such as Widgetlocker, Livewallpaper and SVOICE. Some maybe needed to be pushed to system/app this can be found on there thread (Galaxy Note users will have to delete VoiceTalk from system/app before installing SVOICE)
- Download IconChanger (we need it later)
- Open widgetlocker and delete existing locks and edit the clock so it has transparent background and delete where it say widgetlocker
- Add a new slider but first apply this theme here
- Add those sliders and fill rest of screen except the lowest layer, we need to add the shortcuts. Remember to edit th eright slider to unlock too. It can be hard as its invisible
- Add the 4 shortcuts of your choise and hold down to edit them and change icons by navigating to the S3 icons and replacing to the correct one
- Go to widget locker settings and untick the shortcut text. We are now done with WL! YAY WE HAVE S3 LOCK!
- Set your shortcuts on your homescreen and then open IconChanger. Edit the icons by changing the icon picture to the S3 icons. Remember to change the dock too.
Set the WATERLWP as homescreen and done
Hopefully your screen should end up like mine and if you need help just a 'thanks' would be nice

Did you wipe data, dalvik before flashing? I haven't noticed this problem at all. Can you give me some examples of apps that are giving you trouble and I will test them.

just saw the update on the play store... just wondering why you now need ID permissions?
Could you change the download tab to a more understandable one? Progress bar in percentage, may be? Because the percentage symbol doesn't make much sense now.
Update: Itake back what I just said, because some show the download bar and percentage normally, and some do not (progress bar doesn't move and the percentage is a long chain of number starts wuth "-"). You might want to look at that.

Hi, great app. I have the same problem about the download percentages. Also, please add the option to disable the voice confirmation. After the second time, it becomes annoying.
Edit: New wallpapers somehow were downloaded on /Music/Droidpack/ ?
Hi! Just wanted to say great job on the app, really like it :good:
Also wanted to suggest adding these awesome Xiaomi Mi 4 Wallapapers, they look awesome
Thanks again and good luck :good:
@donniemceduns I can no longer find your app in gplay.
