Intentions:
Our goal is to enrich Googles Jelly Bean experience with cherry picks from Samsungs successful TouchWiz Nature UX environment. It is not a ported TouchWiz ROM, it is based on the very stable and customizable CodenameAndroid ROM.
We decided to include some apps, which were ported by us and other xda-members and some apps from google play to get many Samsung features. We think it is useful and completes the Android experience, but some of you might think it’s ‘Bloat’. So we decided to put many apps in data-partition. That way they can be updated through Google Play or uninstalled like regular apps.

Installation:
1. Flash via Recovery or ROM Manager. It will reboot automatically.
Wiping is only needed if you should encounter unexpected problems.
Known Bugs:
- Touchwiz Launcher Landscape mode: doesn’t work properly. Please use Smart Rotator to disable Rotation for touchWiz App only. 1. Open Smart Rotator 2. Select TouchWiz home and set ‘Auto for all’. 3. Select ‘TouchWiz home’ once again and set ‘Portrait’. 4. Now exit the app and make sure Rotation is locked (check symbol in notification drawer
- Weird Shadows: remove the apps with the broken shadow from the home screen. Adding them the next time everything will look fine

The news widget works without any modification, but the weather widget requires framework, libs, xmls AND touchwiz! It won't run on any other launcher

Same here, otherwise this looks like a kickass ROM.
I wish that Google would come out with a true tablet UI. The one thing I hate abou the N7 is that it just looks like a stretched out phone. They need to develop some type of UI that better uses the screen real estate, gives you a much more immersive experience, etc... The Devs here do some really cool things to help push it in that direction, but at the end of the day we need someone to create a true tablet UI and give it some serious eye candy...

This ROM is nice and real smooth. Also the ui isn't a biggie to me.

This ROM debuted just a few hours ago. On the previous Thread, the Devs explained the ROM's current state. I'm sure down the road, someone will take on the task to make this ROM a true Tablet UI. This ROM is far from being done. I too, love the tablet UI but I rather use this as my daily driver than what I had before.

Is anyone having a problems with Google contacts syncing? Everything else synced ok
Edit: Never mind. I cleared contacts and contacts storage. It fixed it

Hello, I have just finished setting up everything on this rom [ROM][4.2.2] Chameleon OS [OFFICIAL][&Nightlies],
It is very responsive, snappy, and has beautiful colors! You can tell there is allot of effort put into this bad boy. Also love the wallpapers included!
I have no problems running this on Moretz 2.2.2 Kernel.
GPS, DATA, 4G/LTE, WIFI everything is running stable...
This is beyond good for a beta!! :good::good::good::good:

Is voip (like viber , vonage , gtalk audio / video calls) working on this rom?

Been up and running for a couple hours now and I'm loving it so far. The only hitch I have is that the launcher FC's when you change DPI. I'm using nova with no issues though. All in all I'll be on this for a while. I love the green status icons and outlines for apps. Thanks!

Yeah, I've noticed this too. Changing DPI causes chaOS launcher to FC. Other than that, this ROM is awesome so far. Also running latest mortez kernel with no problems.

[ROM] [EpicModem] Chameleon ROM (open Miui) built from source on 4/15/13

Note: I do not have an epic anymore, and haven't built this ROM for my device, so please let me know of any bugs you encounter as I will not be able to find any. Also, nexus modem users should be able to flash the cm10.1 patch on this rom. If not, I can make one.

You probably need to flash the cm alternate carrier zip to get the correct apns and PPP configs.

it was the one for ICS, but it worked on Avatar Rom, dont know why it wouldnt work on this rom.

Thanks for the new ROM, nice & clean, fast & fluid. No issues to report, except dock icons do not seem to be scaling when changed in ChaOs launcher settings.

The 3 pix in op the 1 on the right shows volume slider under toggle tiles/squares I couldn't find that anywhere how do I get that there's 3 different sliders I want it

Is there a way to get a navbar on this? My hardware keys are broke. Tried qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 in build.prop, wouldn't boot.
Any ideas guys? This rom looks dope but not having a navbar is a pain when your cap keys are broke, plus there's something in the op about a navbar, am I missing something? Cuz I can't find anything about a navbar in the settings. :/

Basically, the same device tree is used for most ROMs.

At first there was status 7 error it was removed by deleting apps from zip
now after splash screen there is a blank screen not even turn on (like a dead phone)

I have tried with cwm now and flash BaNKs gapps and still nothing, only black screen like phone is dead, no bootanimation, no nothing...

see the logcat do u think it will boot ever first the system size is more than 200 mb after extraction rest is in log

Instead of compiling 3 buggy rom in 30 min ,compile 1 rom without bugs

@nolinuxnoparty, please remove thread. You cannot randomly compile Roms for any device you want unless you have the device. You may bloody hell be amazing, but this way, you are causing problems too all. @jotha

About:
HTC released with their new flagship HTC One m8 the awesome DotView case that shows different notifications on your case,
like messages, mail or incoming calls. Unfortunately those notifications are limited to HTC specific apps.
Now I think you and lot of others thought, it would be much more useful to also be able to add 3rd party apps show notifications on it.
Guess what!!! Exactly, Venom DotView Notifications will add that feature for you!
More customization features are planned and will come with the time.
Instructions & Information:
ROOT is required! Additonally, the rom should be at least deodexed and have signature verification disabled
YES, this mod is compatible with all sense roms on the latest base.
This mod replaces core framework files and the HtcDotMatrix.apk. If you are an unexperienced user a backup in recovery is recommended in case sth. goes wrong.
Just flash the zip from the download section and you are ready to go.
The files in the zip are based on the latest HTC One m8 stock files. If you are on a custom rom it may override rom specific features, or if you flashed e.g. a sound mod it'll brake it.
I won't provide compatible installations for it, ask the appropriate dev of the rom/mod to do it.
If you got a bug, please report it WITH A LOGCAT
At all devs that surprisingly come up with a same mod (again) AFTER I released something,
great job, you are able to decompile files and copy paste code.

Create setting to define which apps turn the screen on
Create setting to define which apps will automatically open when you open the dotview case
Show battery level under clock
Show music album art/music icon when music is playing
Show notification count
Build icon pack engine to show more suitable icons for the dotview (e.g. squared (less edges), less colorful (no gradients) etc)

For anyone on ViperDark, themed version of this mod is incorporated into ViperDark 1.6.6. Just download theme again from hub or thread for themed version of this mod.

This looks awesome. Don't have a dot view case yet to test this out but just wanted to thank you and your team for all the hard work and dedication. You guys are amazing and I for one am extremely grateful.

Thought that is stock behavior..seems it I had added the same apps to "notification screen on" in our rom. Think it's not a that bad behavior..Will add a toggle though in the next version.l
