It seems like my battery is slowly losing its performance after charging and discharging it repeatedly. I live in Canada and I am not sure if HTC sells the Nexus One battery anymore. Google used to sell them on their website for $25. Does anyone know where I can get an OEM one?

Ebay? Or, i have a brand new OEM battery. PM me.
Removed the link to Amazon. Sorry but I realized it's from a different seller than the one I purchased for.
Thanks, but the reviews don't look very postive though

So HTC doesn't sell them officially anymore?
Try calling the Accessory Replacement line to see if they still carry them. 1.888.716.3594

Should be a free replacement, if your phone is still under warranty.
Funny you are posting this, I have been having the same problem. I called HTC today and they are sending me a free replacement, and i can keep the old battery. Give them a call!
I just called them today and they are sending me a free one! Thanks everyone
Isn't the battery if N1 the same as Desire? i bought OEM Battery from ebay and it said Desire it fitted perfectly.
Just called them and they're sending me a new battery and a new set of headphones. They were really nice about the whole thing.
Thanks for the tip!
Has anyone tried mugen replacement? Not the extended one, regular replacement, thinking about ordering one as mine is also losing its charge faster than before...

I used mugen(1800mah) on xperia1 a year ago but it wasnt better than the oem(1500mah,. It died very fast. I have a spare oem nexus battery it was for 20€ on ebay, really cheap if you ask me.

So what exactly did you guys tell them to get a new battery?
I told HTC that my battery can't hold charge very well anymore. As long as you are still under warranty, they will send you a new one.
I picked up a BNIB OEM battery on ebay for $18. Great buy but beware of the knock offs

I tried to do the same but unsuccessfully. The phone had a one year warranty so they won't replace the battery.
So I don't live in the US but I'm in need of a new battery door for the G2X.
Does anyone know where I can buy? Can't seem to find any on ebay.

I am in the same dilemma. Extended 3500ma batteries and covers for P900/999 are available on eBay for around 11-15, so I am going to go that way I guess.
Hard to believe the regular covers are so scarce.

If you think $31 is bad.
I just called up LG (Or the independent company that takes care of all the LG spare parts in Australia). They wanted 45AUD
There is no way im paying $45 for a piece of plastic with the word google on it.
Hey all
For those that have managed to get a battery door from T-mobile: How much did it cost?
I've read that many have managed to get them for free. Would anyone be willing to get one for me and ship to Aus?
I'll cover shipping and will even add some cash on top for your troubles (provided it doesn't cost more than $45!)
Thanks

Hey man, much appreciated. However, if it becomes too much of a hassle just don't worry about it. Will probably end up buying an extended battery.
Thanks all.
One-click Amazon ordering is easy. So easy , in fact, that I accidentally ordered the extended battery for an Epic 4g, instead of my Epic 4g Touch. Shipping it back would be stupid, since I only paid about 8 bucks for it. It's new and free, but you have to pick it up. PM me to setup a time to pick it up. First come first serve. Ready... Set... GO!

I don't mind if they're off a little, I'd just call them maybe 2000-2200mAh to be closer to what they *often* are and still sell them at the same price. The same people are going to buy them either way and in my experience they've accomplished about that average of capacity. (I'd love if they all achieved 2600mAh like my dad's golden Generic does)

thats more of a soso, because they see a big battery and see "3500", if it said 2000 they stop and stare to the fact that "hey maybe the 1800 would do just as good" as it is an OEM and slimmer.

I just wanted to post this for all of you considering getting a new phone on AT&T, such as the One, S4, Blackberry, etc. According to what I have read, it looks like AT&T is starting a promotion tomorrow that will give an instant $100 or more credit toward a new phone of your choice when you trade in your old working smart phone, ( 3 years old or less). This may help in the decision making process for many people.

not sure if its worth returning the gs4 and re-buying it again using a trade in.... when i could sell the trade in phone for 200 on CL and making my phone free....

I'm starting to hate AT&T even more. I recently tried to get an early upgrade (60 days away) & was turned down over the phone. It really pissed me off since I've been a long time customer in good standing. Pissed me off so much, I've been considering going to TMO & now they do this to me. Hopefully this last for more than 30 days since they won't budge unless im within 30 days or less.
Can you trade in a rooted and unlocked phone that has been flashed?
I want the S4 pretty badly and I want to trade in my 1 year old HTC One X but I unlocked, rooted and flashed this thing.

Keep in mind that generic batteries usually don't have the actual amount of power that they are rated at.
( often a generic that's a few hundred mah higher then stock will be about the same life, or less even)

As soon as you joined xda, you know that warranty was out the window That is, if they can PROVE that you tampered with it personally say if you sent them the phone with Cm 10.2, s-off, etc. They would probably laugh and deny it. If its bricked and won't do anything, the warranty is still good as they won't investigate each and every 1000+ phones that come in for repair and 9/10 will just send you a refurb or fix it.
Installing a different battery into the phone and then sending it in for "repair" in the event something goes wrong is definitely a no-no as that's a guaranteed forfeit of your warranty.

I remember the thread about that (think I mentioned it earlier) a few weeks/months back. What it the difference in capacity between the two of them? The XL (att) has a 1800 correct? How does that compare to the hox+? And is it a complete "bolt on" so to speak? I understand you have to have the hox+ housing to go along with it as well. Have you done this before?

Did you try the larger capacity battery?
HTC ONE X+ battery for Our ONE XL
our original is 1800mah, the one X plus is 2100, (it's actually 2040)
so I just installed using instruction from this link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAr4WWbn9Hc
The AT&T screws is different. there's a top panel that covers the camera and upper compartment.
I'll let you guys know if I experience better experience.
I HAD to replace the battery, I can have 50 percent before i sleep and it will die over night. that's horrible (On FACTORY ROM)
So I'll let you know if it's better on stock, and i'll root it later.
YOU SHOULD TRY IT
I'm planning to put the One X plus housing on my phone too, I have the white one and it's too slippery, and it's all scratched up.
anyone buy this battery yet? i wanna know the development, is it worth it or not?

I got the 2430 mah deep blue high capacity battery on ebay. Been running it for 2 weeks now and no noticeable difference in battery life. Only thing I noticed is the battery gets hot when charging sometimes. Had high hopes for it but maybe I just had higher hopes and it actually is different. Any suggestions on how I should test it so I can compare it to stock? I bought two in case one was DOA cuz I know how a lot of the Chinese products off there are as far as quality goes.
And today I noticed its a lot worse in the cold than the stock battery. I work outside and it's -15 today and the phone keeps resetting. Stock battery didn't have a problem working in the cold.
