I am in the same dilemma. Extended 3500ma batteries and covers for P900/999 are available on eBay for around 11-15, so I am going to go that way I guess.
Hard to believe the regular covers are so scarce.

If you think $31 is bad.
I just called up LG (Or the independent company that takes care of all the LG spare parts in Australia). They wanted 45AUD
There is no way im paying $45 for a piece of plastic with the word google on it.
Hey all
For those that have managed to get a battery door from T-mobile: How much did it cost?
I've read that many have managed to get them for free. Would anyone be willing to get one for me and ship to Aus?
I'll cover shipping and will even add some cash on top for your troubles (provided it doesn't cost more than $45!)
Thanks

Did you have any luck with this?
Thanks
I finally recieved the email from the company that had them on backorder. Not only have they clarified that these are only for wholesale customers, but the price went up to $30. from about $12.
I've got two now, so don't need one anymore. Just a heads up.

I sort of struck out, they told me to go to a service center for a swap and to bring my "broken" door. Mines not broken so...
I will go to the service center when I'm in the area however and see what I can do.

I think it's (425) 861-9174. All they ask for is your IMEI and a mailing address. So I'm betting there's a limit of how many you can get.
Do you think they'll also replace the SD/SIM cover? Mine is creaky to the touch and doesn't seem like it fits too well.

has anyone confirmed this? also about the SD cover?
If someone wants to try emailing them, here is their email address: [email protected]
I just emailed them and when they reply, ill update this post with more info on what they say.
I requested them to send me both covers. My battery cover is all messed up from removing it too much and my SIM/SD card is missing the tabs that keep it flush with the body of the phone.
I'm still not sure how such a poor design got past R&D, and field testing...
Just got off the phone with them. Told them that my phone is unusable because the cover is broken and the battery keeps falling out. I also told them that my sim cover is bent. FREE overnight shipping on both of them. I was surprised at how great HTC customer service is.

Samsung Infuse 4G SGH-I997 Replacement Parts and they seem to have battery doors, i know some of you needed some. they seems to have screens and digitizers but out of stock. Cameras, batteries, speakers and what not.
i have not bought from them so i would not know if they are legit. maybe someone here can confirm. Just thought id share.
Hehe yeah that site is good buuuuuuuut...
You need to be a reseller, repair or some settled bussines related to phones.... They sell you by batches and you require to apply for membership.
I once tried to apply to buy 1 battery cover...
I was contacted about 3 days later just to be informed about all this.
Thats it basicly you need to buy a whole bunch of em; and/or be a repair industry, reseller etc.
Yeah... dissapointing i knoe...
Stil if someone here is a reseller, repairs phones or something like that give it a try maybe my mistake waa mentioning i only wanted 1 battery cover haha

One-click Amazon ordering is easy. So easy , in fact, that I accidentally ordered the extended battery for an Epic 4g, instead of my Epic 4g Touch. Shipping it back would be stupid, since I only paid about 8 bucks for it. It's new and free, but you have to pick it up. PM me to setup a time to pick it up. First come first serve. Ready... Set... I don't mind if they're off a little, I'd just call them maybe 2000-2200mAh to be closer to what they *often* are and still sell them at the same price. The same people are going to buy them either way and in my experience they've accomplished about that average of capacity. (I'd love if they all achieved 2600mAh like my dad's golden Generic does)

thats more of a soso, because they see a big battery and see "3500", if it said 2000 they stop and stare to the fact that "hey maybe the 1800 would do just as good" as it is an OEM and slimmer.

In need of a replacement front cover, which includes the capacitive button area and LG area up at the top, along with the brushed metal color bezel. I thought so also, some pretty good prices on that site, but it's china. Who knows if I'm actually getting what's in the picture, everything there is LG and Google branded, I hope the same stuff comes in the mail!
I see tutorials about taking this thing apart, and they're all like 5-7 minutes long, so it shouldn't be that much of a chore.

Looking at eBay, there are US shippers that have bezels and front capacitive covers for like $30-$40 for both the g2x and HD7 that I need.
Now I have to get a Y cable with SD card reader to root my hd7, such a hassle.
