Can't post warez (paid apps), it's against the rules.
The rest are free and can be easily found with a google search or in the market.

Opening another thread to minimize the clutter
The purpose of this thread is to minimize the clutter and confusion in the already posted "apps" thread. However I did not post this to receive questions why I posted the thread. I also did not request anyone to put paid apps here, only apps that may be hard to find ie not available through the market any longer. Lets stick to the rule, "if you don't have anything positive to post, don't post at all."

There really isn't clutter and confusion in the Apps subforum. Yes, there are a LOT of threads, but it is very easy to use the search button to find what you need. We don't need another thread for something that is already there.
Lets stick to the rule, "if you don't have anything positive to post, don't post at all."

And maybe you should stick to the rule: Newbs don't need to be reorganizing our forum. The forum works fine the way it is, if people need an app, they can search for it. The forum has worked perfectly fine before you were here, and it will continue to work fine now, even without this useless thread.

YES INDEED....I have to say i really like the devs in this forum. He actually has the right idea....morals and talent. Hate to see someone like him leave like that. I would hope it was not over something the Mods did.

According to him, and I don't know if he wants me to say this, but it was because of something the Mods DIDN'T do.
It took them to long to close the flaming thread, and while he was defending us, they just keep talking about the "****rocket", obviously they be mad that we have a better phone, but I guess it was too much.
OH, they also said he wasn't a dev (or at least, someone else did).
Honestly, I'm ticked off, I loved his ROM on my Inspire. I'm going to try talking to him, see if maybe he can return for us.

The moderator closed the thread on the basis that it wasn't the "XDA way," specifically citing XDA rules that by all means, in one's interpretation, would warrant the Unclefest thread being closed. There are alternative viewpoints on the matter, of which I subscribe, but I clearly communicated to the mod that I respected his decision because he's the mod. Throughout the whole interaction, the mod was a true professional about it. Without the mods, there would be no XDA and it'd be yet another crap-filled gutter of a forum within the cyberworld. Nevertheless, the Uncleest situation upset me, and I can only assume it upset SeanZ too.
Today, the mod shut down SeanZ's "best beard" thread in the General forum. I have no clue if there was any discussion between the mod and SeanZ about this. I suspect SeanZ is pulling his threads in protest, with the viewpoint that he generates a lot of traffic for the website and feels like the mod's aren't giving him a fair shake. An alternative viewpoint of this is simply that the XDA Skyrocket General thread is described as "Discussion about the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket (general chat, tips & tricks, etc)," not beards. Ultimately it is indeed the mod's call.
I ask you all to just relax, take some time away from XDA, and not get too emotional. If you want to express anything about this situation, it should probably be in the General section or via PM to fellow users or the mod. Definitely NOT in the Dev section.
Do not forget this: SeanZ has always taken care of us. He'll either be back when he's ready, or he'll let us know where to find him in the cyberworld.

You can say whatever you like. This is general section and this is a free country also. I am making a stand on a issue that has taken place and I and many others feel the same way. I have had many PM's on who they should contact to remove him. This is for all that want the same to happen. You have the right to feel as you do and I also have the same right. Say what you would like. And be thankful that you have that right to do so. This is for a Dev. that is on our device and I and many others would like to voice the way we feel about it. Problems with moderators

firstly i wrote pm to moderator to let me write to dev forum without spamming general forum.
He offcourse does not answered my question, he did nothing. Pretty normal i guess.
Then i jump into discussion on general about how stupid and unlogicall this rule is... Which is in fact making more spam, not preventing spam at all.
Thread was removed. Pretty normal i guess.
But why ffs moderator is removing my post here on general about what smartphone i'm using on "what smartphone you are using" thread? Why removing my normal posts?

Pls respect our mods. They are busy people and might not be able to answer you pm's immediately. It's not because they are making it hard for you.
About the 10-post rule, like it or not it's a rule in xda. We all had to go through that, and it is in effect because it probably helps. Bottomline is a rule's a rule. And while some may disagree on it, we still nveed to follow it as long as it's in effect.
My advice is try to help out in the other forums first, read the rules, and prove that you can and will follow the rules.
And, oh yeah, respect out mods and all the members as well.

Lots of noobs start posting in wrong sections, and they cant afford any bs going on around this site. no i don't understand them removing your normal posts, but you do t have to understand. You don't know what the moderators are thinking, so don't judge them. Their needs to be a little order here BTW: for me the XDA app is having problems so that when you click on someone's profile and click profile then either topics or threads that it is saying "user does not have any posts" even if they do.

I did respect them on the beggining that's why i wrote an pm.
There's now a week after i send pm, mod could just wrote: "nope, sorry man."
So he don't have time to write a few words, but he's removing my posts without any logical reason, if it's personal then why he won't just send me a pm, or if he wants to show how strong he is - why he won't ban me?
I would understand ban. I cannot understand injustice and kinda kid-like behaviour though

They are people like me and you, not gods - so i actually can judge them when they are hurting me.
