Wouldn't CM7 fill that void, and this just be a skinned version of it? You should probably give credit where credit is due, and in this case that would be a LOT to the Cyanogenmod team, since all you're doing is putting a skin on it (and there are already a few skins available for CM7 alpha).

I haven't released the rom yet so no credit has to be given at this time. So thanks for the heads up.

Can't post warez (paid apps), it's against the rules.
The rest are free and can be easily found with a google search or in the market.

The purpose of this thread is to minimize the clutter and confusion in the already posted "apps" thread. However I did not post this to receive questions why I posted the thread. I also did not request anyone to put paid apps here, only apps that may be hard to find ie not available through the market any longer. There really isn't clutter and confusion in the Apps subforum. Yes, there are a LOT of threads, but it is very easy to use the search button to find what you need. We don't need another thread for something that is already there.

And maybe you should stick to the rule: Newbs don't need to be reorganizing our forum. The forum works fine the way it is, if people need an app, they can search for it. The forum has worked perfectly fine before you were here, and it will continue to work fine now, even without this useless thread.

According to him, and I don't know if he wants me to say this, but it was because of something the Mods DIDN'T do.
It took them to long to close the flaming thread, and while he was defending us, they just keep talking about the "****rocket", obviously they be mad that we have a better phone, but I guess it was too much.
OH, they also said he wasn't a dev (or at least, someone else did).
Honestly, I'm ticked off, I loved his ROM on my Inspire. I'm going to try talking to him, see if maybe he can return for us.

Can't we all just get along?

There is a lot of hate for the development we have going for our phone. I jump back and forth between rootzwiki and xda and it gets sickening. I've never seen a device with so much drama behind it. Where two developers and their users are convinced they have to compete with each other constantly over things like antutu scores. Undeadk9 does some great work, and tbalden is paving a whole new road with his real ics rom. Why the need to bash each other. Let's just get along and move development forward instead of just B****ing about who's the best.

Considering the general tone of the MT4GS sub-forums now compared to a few months ago, I'm inclined to agree.
It's up to each person to take it upon themselves to be positive and let the moderators handle the people who aren't without taking it upon themselves to do so. The limit of involvement with the negative should be clicking the report button...and if it's not worth reporting just ignore it.
Don't feed the trolls, same as any other bbs - the people who want the attention from causing grief move on when they are starved for it.
All the little gems people discover and report about get lost in the static otherwise, and it retards development - that one sentance from a new member that could shed a whole new light on an issue gets drowned out in the bickering.
...but things here are a lot more positive then they have been in times past.
I haven't had the time to crawl through every thread recently like I have before, and I don't spend time elsewhere beyond XDA generally so I could be missing a lot - I'd rather see people taking the time to help each other.

Its funny that this thread came along. I jumped on a guy in another thread within minutes of reading it. Never have before. I didn't intend to come off that way and realized it sounded harsh upon reading it later. He said people like me had ruined xda. He is right. Its people getting short that make this place so hard to wade through. The work that u have put in, blue, is the kind we should all strive to. It may not be an aosp port or new bleeding edge rom, but its the more hard to come by type of stuff that gives this forum what makes it so great. I suppose that's why I got short with him. I felt his comments were illmannered. But it isn't my place to defend someone on here, and I don't think he deserved negative comments for what he said in any case. Can you give an example?
When I first posted noob questions they were in the correct section for the most part, I didn't really get "spamed" or anything, which thread are you referring to?

I joined xda at 3/2012
I did a very big search at least 2 months before to root and do other development t my device. (And i say development because only the members who create roms, kernels,mods ect are developers)
but there are a lot of people who make common or silly question and everyone troll them.and they are very rude.
Its a very serious site. The best for mobile development
But its only development. So dont be angry when someone ask silly things

Some can be, I'll admit that. But when you get so many people that do not read or search and then open threads that have been opened before, some get cranky. And I can understand that as well. Best way is to just disregard those who are bothering you and move on. The more you feed them the worse it gets.

It's fine, but if you opine such, you need to be ready to back it up with some examples. Bringing up a generality with no examples makes it hard for us to help ameliorate the situation.

OP,
When asking or posting...ensure you are in the correct section of the Forum for the device you are addressing. After exhausting your searches and finding no knowledge for your issues, then make your post.
You will have those members that at times come across as being harsh, it will happen. But just pass by those, and continue on to what you are addressing...
And if it gets to the point that it may be a bashing or personal attack, that is what the Report button is for, to get Moderators attention and to defuse the issues that may have come up...and PM are just a click away to and for any Moderator. But the best method is reporting.
