Hi,
Is the sd card loose in it's casing?
What have your tried?
Tried SD in a different Phone?
Checked the SD for errors?
Is the SD loose in the carrier?
Formatted the SD (fat 32 and primary partioion) from a PC?
Tried a different SD in your phone?
It does help if you do the basics and add what you've done in the OP

No, I'm never inserting my SD card to any other devices
Previously i checked it for errors, and got cleaned
After I purchased it,i haven't formatted....
I found this "un-expectally unmount error" from this last week...
I had similar issues with my sensation my sd would unmount unexpectedly it would vary from rom to rom. I found that if re flashed my current rom without a wipe it would correct the problem. It worked in my case hope it helps

I would try the reflashing rom idea above as its easy.
If that doesnt work transfer all the sd card data to your computer then format the card. See if that fixes.
Sent from a rebel ship by storing the message in an R2 unit. (Help me, XDA. You're my only hope)

backup your data on the sd card to your pc and format it and if it still shows the problem then your sd card is dead

No, it is not :silly:
I've tried 2 different sd cards (16 GB and 32 GB), different brands, and they are recognized by every pc I use, the problem is on the phone side. Maybe the mod to swap internal and external SD cards... or some kind of rom bug.
Or you could flash the alpha 3 which has been released....maybe it was a bug specific to alpha 2?

[Q] [Cm10.1] Memory card unmounted after reboot?

Hi people
As I reboot my phone, the internal sd card is always unmounted. What could be causing this? I had this problem on all versions of Cm10.1
And before shifting to A6, I had also done a clean a clean install.
Help please :'(

Same here
Exact same problem here. Only way to avoid this "bug" is rebooting without external sd card, then internal sd card is detected, but it is so annoying... If someone knows real fix, please help us!
I'll see if it this works. But isn't that even more annoying? To remove external sd then insert again? I'd rather go into settings and mount sd

[Q] Galaxy S3 not reading any SD cards?

My i9305T Galaxy S3 is not reading micro SD cards at all. I have tried using the cards in my computer, and they work fine. My phone, on booting has a notification that states "Preparing SD card; Checking for errors.", Then after a minute or two, has another notification stating that the SD card is safe to remove. I have tried with multiple SD cards, they all work in a PC, but not my phone.

so the phone shows nothing when browsing trough your files with a filemanager?
In that case Are you using the stock rom? some custom roms may have problems with the reading of big (64 GB) MicroSD cards.
Format using fat32 make sure it's not xfat

Same problem
I'm close to getting a new phone. My s3 won't read any SD card I insert in. I tried formatting from exfat to NTFS and nothing changed. Also tried rebooting, switching roms, clearing my SD card, and pretty much anything else I can think of.
Any of you guys know a solution, or a potential solution?

Are you sure it's not a fake one? There are many fake ones.
Also does your SD card slot still works and isn't partly broken?

Try creating a "nomedia" empty file in the root directory to disable media scanner. It may be possible that the media scanner is crashing for some reason.

transfer your data from the card to your PC. Format the card in the device and re-install your data. See if that helps.
