CM10 can't be flashed on JB bootloaders, which you have after updating to JB.
There's no way back, you're stuck.
There are alternatives like CleanROM or Hydro.

Ok,thanks~
It seems that I am not really finding any answers to my questions, so hopefully I will try again now that I have at least pulled off a successful NVFLASH.
Ok, kids, so here we go... As it stands, my TF300t is unlocked, NVFlashed, and sitting on the old ICS bootloader (never OTA'd to JB) with a october release of CM 10 nightly.
What I want to do, is to update my bootloader (I assume that I have to do this) to the jellybean bootloader so that I can either install CM 10.1 or any other JB roms that require the JB bootloader...
I have torn up these forums looking for the point where we transitioned from ICS to JB, and have been left without answers as to how one should properly do this. If it's a simple "just flash TWRP for JB" or "just flash CWM for JB" that is awesome, because I know how to do that. But no one seems to have made it THAT black and white.
My tab was bought back in june and it only had the 4.0.3 OS on board, and I never OTA'd past it. I lost my original rom backup (rather, I have it but it's useless for some reason... won't restore from CWM).
Can someone please help?
just fastboot TWRP for ICS and then flash the 1st JB StockRom(dl from Asus and unzip once) in TWRP.
Then fastboot TWRP for JB, then flash the latest JB StockRom(dl from Asus and unzip once) .
Then fastboot TWRP for JB and then the Rom you like

Hello everyone,
I have been attempting to install either CyanogenMod or Clean on my TF700T with no success.
I am running Android 4.2. My device is unlocked and rooted, but doesn't seem to want to "speak" with my computer when rebooted into recovery mode. The issue I run into is that there is no "USB icon" in the fastboot menu to choose from.
I have attempted to use several tools such as ClockWorkMod, GooManager, and TF700T-ADB- Tool v3 to reboot into a custom recovery.
GooManager and ClockWorkMod reboot my device and show the "installing" android, but within a few seconds turns into the "bricked" android. I have attached a picture I took with my camera to the thread for reference. When I run TF700T ADB Tool, it simply locks up my tablet and doesn't prompt for further action on the PC side.
Hopefully those are enough details for someone to point out my error; this is very frustrating for a process that was so simply on my droid! :fingers-crossed:
Go into GooManager and tell it to install open script recovery. The android on his back is the stock recovery.

Could you tell me where that is within the app? I've done a couple of searches in the app and don't see it as an option to install.
Thank you!
EDIT: Found it shortly after posting this. It's downloading now.
For future lurkers, it is in the top right of the top in the "options" pane. Third or fourth option down.
EDIT EDIT: That has solved all of my problems and I would have never figured it out myself. Thank you very much Tylor!!!
Okay...problem number two.
I've installed CleanROM successfully (or so I thought), but when my tablet boots it gets stuck on the "boot" screen. In my case it is ASUS with a swirling "loading" graphic below it.
After ~10 minutes of this screen, I restarted the tablet and re-installed the ROM.
I've been sitting here watching it for nearly 5 minutes at the time of this post now. It just doesn't want to boot up.
I don't really know what question to pose at this point. Just need some help!

Which boot loader do you have?
And what CleanRom did you download.

I wish I could answer that first question accurately, but I'm afraid that I don't know. I used ASUS' Tool to unlock my device, if that counts.
I downloaded "CleanROM 3.4.7 Inheritance DEODEX v2_Signed"
Boot into the boot loader and see what the number is in the top left hand corner. It would be the same way you boot into recovery but at the RCK menu.

Ok it is all the latest. It is strange why it wont boot. If you have CleanROM on a Micro SD card, go into recovery and perform a factory reset, then try installing it again.

I am currently transferring it to a MicroSD card. I will perform those steps and post back with the results.
Thanks a million for helping me through this!

This is so strange...I'm getting the same thing as before.
I did a factory wipe, installed the ROM fine, wiped the cache and dalvik cache, rebooted, and it just doesn't want to load past this Nexus/ASUS screen.
I'm going to let it sit for at least 30 minutes here and see if it is just taking its sweet time or what.

No problem. There can be many reasons why it does not work. Hopefully a factory reset will solve it.

Your back on stock android? meaning you lost custom recovery?
I hope you are on 4.2.1. Not 4.1.1 though. Also, just flash CromiX over 4.2.1.
What you need to do it:
1. Root
2. Install TWRP via Goo Manager using Install Openscript Recovery In the top right menu
3. Install CROMIX. Dont install 3.4.7 this time around and see if it works. Strange you are having these problems. Also, once TWRP is installed, create a nandroid backups in recovery, and keep CROMIX and the nandroid backups on the Micro SD, nandroid is just backing up your ROM in recovery.

I found out that twrp on tf300t only can use microSD cards.
I used microsSD to install a better cyanogenmod version ( cm-10.2-20131005-NIGHTLY-tf300t.zip) on my tf300t.
Problem solved.
HI all, during the flashing of a rom I've made a big mistake., I've flashed a the Cyano 11 rom for ME301 to my TF300T
Everything went good, but Wifi didn't worked. So I discovered my mistake and tried to flash the correct rom via CWM
But after loading the zip CWM told me that "This package is for TF300T devices; this is a "ME301T"
Funny because I have really a TF300T.
How can I flash the correct rom?
Thanks a lot
EDIT: iwitha different recivery I've solved the problem
