tf300t twrp 2.6.3.0 does not mount usbstick.
Because I have a problem with booting tf300t with cyanogenmod 10.0.0, I want to flash a higher version (10.2.0).
But twrp 2.6.3.0 on my tf300t can not mount my usbstick with cyanogenmod 10.2.0 zip file.
How can I get my cyanogenmod 10.2.0 zip file on my tf300t?
Please help.

I found out that twrp on tf300t only can use microSD cards.
I used microsSD to install a better cyanogenmod version ( cm-10.2-20131005-NIGHTLY-tf300t.zip) on my tf300t.
Problem solved.

Hello,
I need some help to install a cm10.1 on my TF300t, I'm quite confident with adb and fastboot but maybe not enought...
my tf300t has the last OTA 4.2.1 rooted, I was forced to use the TWRP 2.4.4.0-4.2 because is the only recovery able to read and write the sdcard memory, backup and restore work fine.
now when I install the cm10.1-nightly i'm stacked on the asus boot logo, today i was able to do an other little step, restoring only the boot partition, but now I'm staked again on the Cyanogen logo!!!
please can someone help me to be stacked after the launcher lol :silly:?

You can't install CM10.1 on 4.2 bootloader. Only option you have now is install stock 4.2 or CROMI 4.2. For CM you will have to wait until ASUS releases kernel source and then hopefully CM team will migrate to 4.2 bootloader.
Greetings. Today I wanted to try a KitKat rom on my TF300T (currently on PacMan Rom 4.3), but as I've figured out, I needed a new version of recovery, since I was using TWRP 2.4.4.0.
So I flashed it (version for 4.2 Bootloader, of course), but even though I've tried nearly all versions higher than 2.4.4.0 (for ex. 2.5.0.0 or 2.6.1.0), I was still getting this weird screen (not my picture, but the same problem) and the only way, how to solve it, is to go back on my default TWRP version - 2.4.4.0.
Any help is much appreciated!

Which stock rom were you on, 10.x.x.x.x.x?
Hello and thanks for quick reply! My stock rom was 10.6.1.8.
Anyway, some really weird thing happened - I downloaded TWRP 2.6.1.0 (again, version 4.2BL), flashed it, went to recovery but whoa - It installed CWM 6.0.4.5...? How is that even possible? And yes, the blob was downloaded from the official TWRP site.
Anyway, with this new "TWRP" (aka. CWM ) I was able to install this KitKat rom, but still I would like to know the solution for the TWRP problem.
But still, truth is, that my stock rom is very old, going to update it then - Thanks!
EDIT: Ah, now I see it, my bad Just found this:
If current bootloader = 10.6.1.8 - JB 4.2 - recovery to flash = ONLY TWRP "openrecovery-twrp-2.4.4.0-tf300t-4.2.blob" - flashing a non-4.2 version of TWRP or any version of CWM will brick device. Also flashing 2.5.0.0-tf300t-4.2 on the 10.6.1.8 bootloader results in a split-screen issue.

Yes, update to 10.6.1.27 to use the TWRP.

At this point I've tried to install both
[ROM][CM11][4.4.2][KitKang][KANG] TF300T nightly builds and
[ROM][4.4.2][OFFICIAL] CM-11.0 for tf300t on TWRP 2.5.0.0 (I'm coming from Cromi-X 5.2.3), but received the following error: error executing updater binary in zip.
Then I tried to install TWRP 2.6.3.0 (for 4.2 bootloader) but received the same error.
Then I tried to install CWM 6.0.2.3 but it couldn't see any storage at all.
Do you know how I can install any of the new 4.4.2 roms?
Thanks in advance

Nobody knows which recovery I should use?
You need the special KitKat recovery to install a 4.4.2 ROM. Look in the first post of the OmniRom thread or the seventh post of the Official CM thread for that recovery. You need to be on the latest JB booloader: 10.6.1.15 and above.

I flashed the recovery which is in the first post of the Official CM thread and that one works fine. You can follow the instructions which are in post #7 and make sure you restart into your current android OS. Otherwise you probably won't see internal or external SD in recovery mode.

Yes, that is the compatible KitKat CWM. There is also a compatible KitKat TWRP.
Two questions actually. I have a tf300t, unlocked, currently running TWRP 2.6.3.0 and an old CM. Tried to flash a new 4.4.2 ROM, but it failed in TWRP. I read this is caused by having an old TWRP, so I'm trying to update it.
First, twrp's site has the newest twrp for the tf300t at 2.6.3.0. However, the ROM's page says to flash the 2.6.3.2 TWRP which doesn't exist on TWRP's site. Why does it not exist?
Second, I downloaded the linked TWRP file from the ROM's page, but it's a zip. When I try to flash it using fastboot and bootloader, fastboot acts like everything succeeded is fine but the tablet never installs anything. Fastboot reboot does nothing. However, if I try to flash a .blob, it works and the tablet gets the progress bar and it flashes. What should I do to get TWRP updated so I can flash a new ROM?
Thanks!
You flash the twrp 3.6.3.2 zip in your existing recovery not fastboot install it. Then reboot to android. (Required). Now go back into recovery.

Because TeamWin has not released a TWRP working for KitKat ROMs for our device yet. The one available in the OmniROM thread is scanno's own, unofficial build.

Hi guys,
I want to ask you some questions,I never flashed my tab.
1. Is it this TWRP file I have to flash ? http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/tf300t/openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-tf300t-4.2.blob (I'm on stock official Asus 4.2.1 now)
2. If I go on CM11 for example, can I revert to stock Asus 4.2.1 ?
3. If I go on CM11, can I flash on it a CM 10.2 rom for example ?
And does the keyboard work on custom rom like CM11?
Thank you for your help

1. That recovery will not work for KitKat ROMs like CM 11 or OmniROM. Check the respective ROM thread for a working TWRP. Also double-check the version of your bootloader.
2. Yes, read the sticky guides in the general section.
3. Yes.
When flashing a different ROM (not just another version of the same ROM) remember to do a full wipe: data, system, cache, dalvik.
If you mean the keyboard dock, yes that basically works in all ROMs I tried so far. Some ROMs don't support all the special keys, but basic typing works fine.

Hi,
Thank you for your answer. I have read a lot of guide, but I'm a bit confusing because I never used TWRP before and there is so much things to do ( adb, fastboot etc...)
Im on the lastest Asus official firmware so I think I need the TWRP 2.6.3.0 or .2 4.2 version. Should I do this before : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2545610? (install nvflash flatline )
Edit : And if I flash cm 10.2 stable, can I use TWRP 2.6.3.0 ?
Again thank you

Flatline is the best thing you can do for your 300... I would highly recommend backing up of your nvflash blobs.....
If you need any help with this just let me know, drop me a line at [email protected]
Thx as always Josh
Thank you. I will do it a little later, im now busy with my work.
Thanks again to you guys for helping me

Yes, that is fine.
The latest version from scanno (2.7.0.0) should work for both CM 11 and CM 10.2, but I am not sure the respective patch made it into that build, maybe only with the next update.
2.6.3.0-42 from the official download site is the safe choice for CM 10.2.
