HELP!! I sd card not workingS USB BRICK - Optimus One, P500, V Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I had a partition for apps and one for swap memory on my sd card I removed it from my phone formatted it with minitool partition and now my phone wont recognize it, it is still being recognized by the computer and it is flashed in FAT32 format but by phone wont pick it up not on computer or clockwork mod recovery...what should I do ??/:crying::crying:

format your sd card and then try putting in your phone , also sd external partition should be ext2, ext3 or ext4. If this doesnt work try partitioning your sd card from recovery.

EXT4 help; SD card not readable!!

i tried to use minitool partition wizard to creat a 2GB ext4 partition on my 8GB sd card,
but the sd card now doesn't turn up on the computer as a disk drive.
Not through magldr 1.13, or usb mass storage, or through external usb card reader/writers.
Any ideas?

Unable to mount SD card in CM9

Hi ,
Im usigng CM9 in my explorer. Today i tried to partion SD card via mounting it from recovery and partitioned using minitool artitions oftware after that im unable to see SD in my explorer. although it was partitioned also when i try to insert memory card it says SD card is safe is remove everytime i insert SD card , before partioning it was wokring fine...
Well get to card reader and repartiotion it again, probably you didn't make both partitions primary or something else, maybe it's some fail because you made it from recover...... There are a lot of maybe's, sure thing is to partition it with card reader.

SD card problem

So my Pantech Burst P9070 is having issues. In clockwork mod recovery (cwm) it said my SD card couldn't mount so I tried formatting it. Well apparently I must have done something wrong during the formatting process because my SD card (internal) is no longer detectable by my phone or computer. My phone shows a notification saying that my SD card is damaged and needs to be formatted but when i press the button to format it, my phone says that the SD card is removed, but I do not even have an external SD card so I am confused. Please Help!!!:crying::crying:
Don't panic. If you are trying to use your sd card for songs, apps, photos etc, then just go into windows or any other partition manager, do a FULL wipe and make sure its FAT 32. If you also want to increase your internal storage visit my thread Hope this helps.
But how am I even suppose to use the windows or any other partition manager if my SD card isn't detected by my phone or computer?
Disk Management
Look in the Disk Management Tool in Windows Vista or above.
If you don't have that or it doesn't detect it you can download a disk partitioning tool to do the job.
It none of the tools work from Windows verify that the card is unmounted in Settings and try formatting it form Android.

[Q] NEXUS S - Formatted on Windows -> Lost partition

Hey Guys,
My Phone is a Nexus S with CM-11-20141008-SNAPSHOT-M11-crespo. + CWM Recovery.
Today i have tried to partition my internal sd card, (the nexus s have only the internal sd Card), because i wanted to install the Link2SD app which need a ext4 partition to link the programfiles.
What i Did:
1. Connet the Phone via USB to Computer
2. Mount sd Card
3. Run Minitool Partition Wizard on Windows
4. Delete the Partition on the SD Card
5. Create a Partition, 13GB, Primary, FAT32 for media files
6. Create a Partition 1 GB, Primary ext4, for the programfiles.
7. Restarted the Phone
The Phone is still working, but i dont see the SD Card anymore on my Andorid device. I have also tried to Mount the sd card in the CWM. I tried to do a factory reset and checked the box "format sd card)
Did not work
Can you please help me? How could i restore the lost party of my internal sd card?
Thanks,
Magor

You have put your self in a major mess. You should have partitioned the SD card using CWM. Now you can try to partition SD card using CWM just forget the 1Gb partion that you lost.

My SD card went dead- has Ext4 and FAT32 partitions on it

Hi,
My SD card suddenly went unmountable. My phone restarted automatically and hasn't been able to mount the card. It is not recognizable in Windows too. I just see a grayed out drive that has 0MB.
I'm using Apps2SD on my phone and I had to partition my SD card with one Ext4 partition and on FAT32.
The thing is that because the first partition is Ext4, Windows cannot see the second FAT32 partition.
How can I check if my SD card really went dead or is it a matter of corrupted file system?
What program can I use to scan and check Linux partitions on SD card?
