[Donations] Help Get eVil D a MT4G for Sense Roms

Update: I picked up Zinx and Evil's phones and hope to ship them today
Ok you guys should know the drill for now. We were able to collect the funds for Zinx's phone in less than a day. Granted that was with a special deal to get the phone on the cheap that I don't know if we will be able to do again. But I am confident we can get the funds collected to get eVil D a phone. Click my "donate to me" link to contribute. I am in NO way making a profit from this and am only using money to cover expenses. Like always if I will furnish receipts on request. If you don't want to your charged the paypal fee and want 100% of your donation to go towards the fund, chose to send it as a personal gift (which it is).
Right now we are shooting for the out of contract price of $399, unless someone has an upgrade they would like to donate to the cause.
For those unfamiliar with eVil D, he has worked on sense ports of the Desire, Desire HD, and MT4G for the N1 and the G2. He has agreed to work on the MT4G as well, provided we can provide him with a test device.
So let's start this off again and see how quickly we can get another awesome dev working on our device.

As you may have noticed I was not maked down as paid for Zinx's phone b/c as soon as I found out we could get it for $150 I was already planning on donating to the eVil D fund....well that and it's kind of silly to donate money to my own paypal account only to transfer it back to my bank account.

We don't actually send the donations until we have enuff pledged to cover the amount. So you can still pledge something now. If we were to actually reach our total before Wednesday we would understand if you had to wait.

Heading to my buddies to give him the money to transfer to you. Thank you so much for doing this for the community. And I'm sure the devs don't mind the free devices ;]

Just to clarify. I get paid on friday. If this is still going I will happily donate. Ill even donate more than $10 if needed. If you look around xda forums in the glacier threads, I try to help people out with questions and always offer a hand etc. I just dont want people thinking im all talk when it comes to donations. [Q] Galaxy S 4G in Dutch?

I recently brought this cell phone with me from New York and it's working fine here, but I would like to know if there is any way to switch to Dutch language with any of the available roms?

Not at this time. If you have looked around you will notice development for this phone is going a little slow. Give it some time and hopefully once we get some rom's you could put in that request. Keep an eye out for a stable rom, then ask. Chances are a dev won't want to start doing something like that untill he has all the bugs worked out.
P.S. Keep an eye out if anyone wants an unlocked vibrant for cheap.

Well there ya go. Cash in hand is much simpler than ebay. I just sent one to canada and it got returned from customs. The lady that bought was none to happy. So I sent her one of the other ones USPS Express ($39)

Just wanted to drop a thank you to all the ppl on this forum who have been so helpful and patient with all my questions.
Due to budget concerns I will not be getting a infuse after all so I also wanna say goodbye to this forum ( I was really looking forward to being a member of this great group) .
In a nutshell what has happened is that when I first started looking at the infuse you could pick up a bnib infuse unlocked for about 300 usd but when I got the money the cheapest I could find one was 395 usd and I never buy used electronics so it was out of my price range.
I ended up dropping down to the htc inspire.
Anyway, thanks for everything and hope to see you around xda's other forums

Make you u check out the collective rom for inspire hear its really nice.

I will be checking out the collective rom for sure and also eNRGy rom for inspire.
As for battery I currently use a smaller battery than the inspire has on my mt3g and I am in a truck most of the day so I can plug it in if I need to.

I would but both me and my wife need phones ( she is on a backup ''dumb'' phone and my mt3g has seen better days) and the only way I can afford the phones is tax refund and my budget would have me saving for the rest of the year for those ( as much as I want the note)

Lets get together and buy Erikmm a Blaze.

He's a great dev that's done some superb blind work for us but he needs a phone.
If we can raise enough it would greatly help this community. I would be happy to start the ball rolling with $30.

It's even cheaper for a used one in great condition, around $240 on Craigslist.

As long as the phone is fully functional so I can test everything then the phone can be used...just make sure it isn't blacklisted so I can fix wifi calling and the apn issue.
I have an s2 for personal use so this phone would be a dev phone
Last time I got a phone donated the users sent me the money bc I had a deal with another user to buy his phone it was all done publicly so the community can see. I say the cheapest/safest way to get it would be ebay because it has some guarantee that if the product doesn't work then you can open a case with PayPal

See that the #1 question. I have PayPal and have no problem doing so, but sure other people do to. Its either gunna have to be someone with the most posts and thanked (which isn't me)
But me personally I would feel most comfretable with erikmm doing it. But if he doesn't want to or if you guys don't trust him why would you trust someone else?
Either way were gunna have to do a tally for who is willing to pitch in and how much. Just don't be shaddy and back out cause that will get us nowhere

Or I could ship to someone else who is willing to list it and sell it and them give you the proceeds.
I think its worth around $70 or so.
I just don't have the time to list it and sell it and do all that stuff... but I cold easily just ship it. Thoughts?

but sounds great if someone could put it up, I've been looking for work lately and school those two things take up my time and free time goes to deving thanks man hopefully we get an awesome guy willing to put it for sale

I really like the work erikmm has done for our phone. I dont think anyone else has made an actual working rom with such few issues for our phone. I think getting him a phone so he can help our community would be a huge asset, and im willing to donate also. I dont want to see this phone get left behind, and I do miss flashing different roms like I did with my Vibrant.

Trust me the work has not stopped. We have been trying various ports over the last few weeks. Erikm and I have been trying but without the phone his efforts are limited. Hopefully he gets the device and then things will start rolling

So i was talking to joelz and said that he was willing to dev and help myn and team warm on warm fourpointzero. He is an amazing dev and did some incredible work on HTC Rezound, HTC Droid Incredible, Verizon Galaxy Nexus, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO 3D GSM, HTC EVO 4G, HTC EVO 4G LTE, HTC Desire HD, and HTC Inspire 4G plus probably some i am forgetting. anyways LETS GET JOELZ A GS3!!!

Remember, if you add a line buy it on that line for $200+tax, transfer it to your line, put dummy phone (blank, call cust. service) on new line for 1 month ($10), then cancel in a month (etf for dumbphone line is $175), the total comes to about $440 w/ tax depending on your local rate.
