First of all Team Venom Rocks. The best ROM chefs ever. I was initially on Viper S 1.1.0 before the update to Viper S 1.2.1. My device is HTC sensation H Boot 1.27 S-On Bricked Kernel
On both the ROMs the venom hub doesnt not connect it gives a boot loop for some time and then comes up with a blank white screen. Is there a problem or are there no items to be shown in there.
Can any body help with a solution am new here and cant post in the venom thread.

Did you do a wipe before the upgrade?
Hi there . Yes there is a problem. I'm a viper user myself and yes , I CAN connect with the venom hub without issue. I suggest making a few posts here so you will be allowed to post on viper development site and likely someone there can solve your issue. Have you tried re flashing the Rom with a FULL wipe and clean install? That would be my first step. Hopefully this will help. I wish you the best and hope you get this resolved soon. Just checked venom hub again and can confirm , that Yes it's working correctly. Try re flashing and hopefully it will help.

Yes i did a full wipe but that was from aroma installer
not from the recovery.
Wipe from recovery cash and dalvik and wipe data factory reset. Then also wipe in aroma and you should be good to go! Post your results after you do that and let me know if that did the trick

I had the same FC a few times earlier. It seems like it occurs when I unlock it or open an app too soon after boot up. The solution was just wait 30 seconds or so and then it shouldn't occur.
i confirm that waiting few times to put pin code is working, for me 30' and i've no sense FC.
Thanks
i flashed VipersS and when i reboot it just does like...a boot loop on the bright HTC logo screen??? idk if thats boot looop or not...please someone help me, and im dieing to use VipersS Rom, btw, im on S-OFF
Do you have the correct firmware 3.32 or 3.33? Did you do a wipe before flashing? I'm s off and before I installed viper I wipe cash, wipe dalvik , wipe data factory reset (do this in 4ext recovery) stay in recovery choose zip from sd card , flash, reboot.
It should be fine if you follow those steps and Are using the correct firmware.hope this helps.

Try it as I told you and it should work, wiping is very important. You do have 4 ext recovery don't you? 4 ext makes things very easy, . Just remember to wipe before installation. Hope this helps and hope you enjoy your sensation!

First download the universal 3.33 firmware then you install it from the bootloader.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G with Beats Audio using xda app-developers app
To put the firmware on your device put the pg58img file on root of sd card then reboot into bootloader by removing battery put battery back in, press volume down and power your device will recognize the file and ask to upgrade volume up for yes. It will upgrade then remove the file off the sd card or it will continue to want to update. This is how you install firmware
It seems like a lot but once you do it you won't forget.

Until today I was using HyperSensation 3.0, decided to try a new ROM and choose BADOSP V 1.1 to test. After back-up/wipe cache-dalvik/format all partitions/installing ROM/reboot. The phone booted normally until the lockscreen showed up, then, immediately shutted down. Powering on again was met with the same results.
I did the process of wiping, formating and installing again in case I forgot something, and again the same thing happened. I tried with another ROM, this time with ViperS 1.0.1, and I got the same thing, power off after the lockscreen shows for the first time. Before restoring the back up, I tried installing again HyperSensation 3.0 and it works... As a last resort I installed a gingerbread RUU to start totally stock, and again... power off in the same place...
I reinstalled 4ext, updated the firmware again to 3.33 and restored my back up to have a functional phone again, but I cannot understand why is this happening.
Can someone out there chime in and help me with this?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, I flashed super wipe but forgot about the kernel part. I'll try that now. With what Sense o Maniac your solution worked, Sense 3.6 or 4.0?
I tried with both Sense ROMs. Super Wipe/Install ROM with everything stock/Flash Kernel/Reboot but that didn't work either.

then the only culprit left is recovery ..
try reflashing it or ..update it to 1.0.0.5 RC (also can you check if you enabled smartflash (in 4EXT -> tools) ..coz that some times messes up for SOFF devices and make sure smartflash is disabled )
Currently I'm using viper 1.3.5 with Sebastian 1.5.2 kernel and firmware 3.33..den I found I can't connect the wifi keep turning on n off..so I decided to flash another rom..but the problem still exits..wifi keep turning on n off also..any solution?

Hi, have you tried doing a FRESH download of viper, then do A FULL wipe and reinstall the NEW download. Don't use your old download must be a new download. See if that works for you. It's definitely worth a shot. But make sure the download is new. I'm wondering if something had gotten corrupted in your current download. It's worth a shot! Hopefully with the new download the WiFi will work. Sometimes you have to experiment. See if this helps. I wish you the best and hopefully you can get the WiFi working soon!

i already flash cm10 rom and hypernon sense with full wipe but my wifi still cant work at all
Hey guys
My brother got the sensation a while ago, so i took it, rooted, and flashed a new rom.
I also think I updated the firmware because its running ICS(used to be 2.3).
Anyway, the phone is very laggy and slow plus when I get a call most time it reboots.
I flashed cyanogen rom (4.2.2) and through the set up it rebooted.
I wiped every thing before I installed CM.
Has any body experienced this before? any ideas?
Thank in advance m8s:good:

any ideas guys? could it be a hardware issue?
guys after flashing CM10 the phone works great but it over heats a lot and most of the time when I get a call, I answer, it reboots..
Whats the problem with this phone
I don't think it's a hardware issue. You could try a stock ROM or an RUU to see if the problem is fixed. Try clearing the cache and data from the phone app and see if that fixes it.

Before installing CM10, I cleared the cache and date, rest to factory and wiped dalvik cache. I always flash roms on my oneX and DHD but never experienced this problem.
I noticed something, after booting in CM10 for the first time, the prior venom wallpaper was there which was awkward...
could be this the recovery? Im currently using CWM flashed directly from play store.
PLZ help guys this phone is becoming very annoying, almost every call I receive it will reboot
Hmm...I am running out of ideas. I think you need to somehow re-install the phone.apk, but this is coming from a semi-noob. You might need a pro to help you on this.
One more idea... Did you try putting a piece of cardboard by the battery to keep it in properly (although it's only when you open the phone app)

Here it is...
As I mentioned in the first post that my brother uses the phone.
Sorry to disappoint you but the problem was from the battery
I dont know how i did not think about it.
I folded a piece of paper and placed it behind the battery and since then it never rebooted
THANKS GUYS!!!!
