thanks alot but which one supports reading & writing Arabic ( not Arabic menu )

This is just moded phone.apk, it has no relation with language, which depends on your ROM, I shown you post is contains recording mod, you need not to flash that ROM.
Anyway here it is, just download it, installation instruction you will find inside it.
After this simply you will get a call recording button (while you are on call), just press it to start recording, no need to install any recording SW.
Recording Mod
Remember doing this, you may find force closes, still you will be able to finish procedure. And yes you requires to have rooted device.

I am actually VERY VERY new to rooting and stuff, but yes I want a call recorder for me. I am using:
1. Galaxy Note 4.0.4
2. Baseband version DDLR1
3. Kernel version 3.0.15-N7000DDLR6
I updated to 4.0.4 through Kies.
Now plz dont be annoyed, bcoz so many people might ask you same thing again and again, but still plz let me what shd I do to have call recording function.

First of all you need to get your device rooted.
Find second link on my signature and go with method 1. to get it rooted.
Then you will need to have root explorer file manager. Rest instruction is packed in zip file.

Should I install/Flash both "Root_SuperSu 0.95" and "Root_busybox *.zip" and after that what about -
"Immediately after This I recommend to
1.Backup EFS
2.Flash any safe kernel with mobile Odin."
If this is not done, does it mean I may brick my phone?

Hey jeetu1981,
Thanks a lot for the links. And I have even gone through the process. But I am still unclear about Flashing. Is it the same way like I rooted using dr.ketan's method of Rooting without using system, and rather than selecting busybox, should I select this MOD for activating Call Recording?

[Discussion] Cyanogen Mod On Galaxy Fit

This is a thread to discuss Cyanogen Mod on Galaxy Fit, and possible bugfixes/what is working/what is not working/ and possibly get the job done
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1167750 (i got most of the stuff here from there, thanks to TJ_Style for everything)
How to get Cyanogen on your Galaxy Fit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1260529
So yeah, Firstly, i tried cyanogen mod on Galaxy fit, now i need your help to gather all the things that are working, and things that aren't and make a list of them, as well as any files/patches/bugfixes available.
Link me and i'll keep updating the thread.
Things that are working:
- Themes (apply a theme and reboot to get it to work)
- DSP manager
- Soft Keys
- Bluetooth
- Wireless (the networks won't show in a popup but will show through wifi settings )
- Video PlayBack
- LCD density
- Themes
- Almost everything?
Things that are NOT working:
- some videos in the gallery (mostly 360p mp4 videos downloaded from youtube) codec relate i think. [edit] Now Working!
- Camera [edit] Now Working!
- Sound Plays through Top speaker when the headphone is plugged in.
- Overclocking
-Wifi/USB tethering Don't Work
- Please Tell me so i can list them
Bug Fixes Go Here (Please confirm if they work!)
- Wifi Works, Long Press the wifi button after turning it on and you'll see all available networks (The Network List will NOT popup like in the stock ROM) :3
- Bluetooth Works well (But not on first boot, just reboot once and all is good :3)
- You Can Use Fx File Explorer if you don't like the normal file explorer (found here https://market.android.com/details?id=nextapp.fx)
- Themes : Use an LDPI theme and reboot to get it to work
I do NOT care about thanks, Please DO NOT Reply to this thread if you don't have anything to add to the info mentioned here, if you have anything to add please do, if not, just press thanks and keep watch
I hope we can get a stable release, Vish, u there? Q-Q

youtube only audio works . Needs codecs for videos.

(Mod) Call Recording-KPQ

Here comes the Call recording mod (stand alone, no themes attached). Tested & working fine on KPQ.
Recording is working perfectly on both ways.
Saves in .amr format in internal SD card/sounds.
Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?vqbmgvpswsqbv4y
Flash it through CWM.
Enjoy
As usual, never blame me if your cell puffs some smoke
Pls leave your feedback.
Attached screenshots & a sample recorded file for referecne
PS: Since there ther's a mixture of opinions, for some it's working & for other it's force closing. So guys please do share your views about this. If u have flashed this, then leave your comments. In either cases (working or not working) please write down your fw/ROM dtls with any kernels. So that will clarify on which ROMs this can be applied. This may be helpful to our 9003 buddies.
A bigggggggggg biggggggg Thank you..............

Tap-to-Focus Camera [ICS]

Does anyone know of a way to install a version of the ICS camera into a rom which contains the tap-to-focus function? Hopefully there is a flashable zip that I haven't come across.
If its a matter of replacing files using Root Explorer, that's not a problem. However, if I have to use adb to do this, I would love instructions on how to do so.
Of course this will not be possible without the actual files/apk of the tap-to-focus feature.
Thanks in advance to anyone with answers.
Edit: Thanks to dr911 he was able to direct me in the right direction on how to enable this feature.

I don't know if all these files are really needed, but I took them from AOKP and dropped them into the system: system/app/Camera.apk, system/lib/libcamera_client.so, system/lib/libcameraservice.so, system/lib/hw/camera.herring.so. Someone posted it in a thread here on XDA, but I don't remember.

The files are contained within the AOKP rom for the Nexus S 4G as posted. You just download the rom and extract the files. Once you've extracted them, just place them in the same folders within your current rom.

I'm using the stock rom from the update pushed through by Sprint which I of course rooted, and everything is working perfectly fine.

Are you also able to activate the power button as shutter? The combo TTF and PowerShutter was why I chose AOKP as source ROM.
I think, some things have to be done with hardware buttons, such as camera shutter and music track skipping.
And by the way, are you able to use the video effects? I don't know if it is related to these files or the ROM I use, but they don't work here! I don't need those, so I don't care!
The power button does not work as a way to take photos. But as of right now, I'm very pleased with how this has turned out. I'm running the closest thing to stock with the tap-to-focus feature along with the Face to Unlock security feature which I found as a flashable zip on Android Forums I believe.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk
Did you activate that feature in camera settings? After that you have to restart the camera, else just your screen turns off.
EDIT1: So i just made a flashable zip from the files for anyone who isn't that familiar with Root Explorer or ADB. I hope it works, hadn't the time to test it, so better you make a backup before flashing (as always)
@The Batman: are you now able to use the power button as shutter?
EDIT2: New zip should also enable video effects on ICS ROMs that lack this function. Tested on I9023 with slimICS 3.3.
All credits to Team KANG and the people here on XDA, because I just took the files from AOKP that were mentioned in some posts here on XDA and put them into a flashable zip file (I also took the template for that from the forums, call me a pirate )
Yes, the power button now works. Users just have to make sure that they use the AOKP camera.apk and not the stock camera.Google.apk.

Yes. Or you can delete the camera.Google.apk and still have the camera from the AOKP rom which would then allow you to use the power button to snap pictures.

Depends on the ROM you are using and if that ROM contains the Google camera app or AOSP camera app.
But I think there is no advantage in having both side by side as the AOKP cam should have all features of the stock cam plus TTF and PS...
Has anyone tried this?

Do you have a custom recovery? If yes, place the file in the root of your SD-Card/USB-storage and flash it via recovery!
If you have a moment, I'll try the zip on my phone (forgot about it, sorry)!
EDIT: The zip flashed without errors in ClockWorkMod Recovery, so it should also work for others!

Well IMO , the last thing you wanna do is putting an extra function for the power button ... It is so weak and valunrable to break just doing it job opening the screen lock ..
Just my 2 cents , but the TTF is a good feature to have no doubt

Nice to know which rom did you try on and have you removed the shutter sound as shown in my other thread?
Thank you for the feedback

Yeap, I'm on Omega 3.0 right now. The first thing I do with every rom is to delete the camera sounds.

good enough.... tell me if there are any problems... i have been using it for one day now and it is bugfree here... i do not use the panorama and stuff... but there were more sounds present than only the focus and focus error... i have muted them all so should be perfect.
Also on Omega 3.0 and working fine so far! :good:

they should have made it optional with the sounds in the first place damn you samsung
Nice. I'd completed this mod myself when I got my s4 shortly after release, but never got around to testing it (did the same thing for my s2 back in the day). Got distracted trying to turn it into a vrtheme to make it compatible with 'all' version of camera (this way it replaces the resource files in apk and keeps that current version of camera installed). It's still just sitting in a couple of folders somewhere on my server....
(However, I think apk version means you should be able to push with adb without requiring root??)
I'm on a bell i9505 and it crashes on me after 3 seconds of use
Unfortunately I screwed up and my backup of my stock aPk was unsuccessful
Can someone please give me the stock aPk for the camera or tell me how I'd go about fixing my camera app

Couple of options...flash your rom again (extreme!) or just replace the modded apk with original apk. Some roms include updated camera software (not sure if there has been an update, but you never know) so best to get apk from the same rom version you are currently running
Also, need to make sure rom is deodexed (you could try deleting the associated odex file and see if crash stops)

Maybe it could be possible... I have never used adb... But it should be possible yes
How would one make it for all versions? I am quite new to this... I would also like to port stuff.. But I am not that good yet

Which rom do you use?
I have only having it confirmed on ME2 deodexed.. That's why I need people to try so I know
Why was your backup unsuccessful?
Btw. If you get your backup or an apk working... You can send me that file and I can mod it for you and see if that works

updated the original post... that it is only working on deodexed roms.. please let me know if it works on others
Works with no problems on my part

I use Tasker to set the phone to vibrate or silent mode when the camera app is active. Works like a charm, and I don't have to mess with custom software. I wouldn't even have to be rooted, if I weren't already.

we all know that... it has been said before... this is just so you dont need to do anything afterwards
i got pissed by turning the volume off and on constantly... thats why i did this.. and i could have used a profile.. but i thought this was a permanent fix for use in other roms and such but thanks.

(this works in my head...) You use a vrtheme (flashable zip) that replaces the ogg files (resources) in the apk with silent ogg files (vrtheme usually replaces the image resources so that you can change the look of apps such as what you see HERE)

oh... i did it manually by decompiling.. well... i cant see why it would make it compatible with other roms..
an example.
i hate the clock and alarm app in samsung.. but love the sony one... i cant install it on my samsung... so i need to port it.. but the thing you said there.. would not do the trick... there must be something else, an identifier of the phone or something.

[MOD][XPOSED][i9500]Enable Call Recording!

If you live in an area where call recording is legal, use this modification to enable the ability to record calls from within the in-call UI of the phone.[@rootr]. Modified the module to work with I9500.
This should work on any devices though i have not tested except on I9500! Feedback on other devices is appreciated!
For any reason, if you endup in bootloop, then try flashing xposed disabler from this thread. There is no need to restore nandroid backup or flashing the rom again. For all other devices, just install the module unless your device is exonos for which you need to flash the patch!
Requirements
1. Xposed Framework - Can be downloaded from HERE
2. Valid Recovery - CWM / TWRP
Installation
1. Download the attached module and install it on the phone
2. Download and Install Xposed framework from the ink above
3. Launch the Xposed Installer and go to the "Modules" tab (you will also get there if you click on the notification warning you that the module is not enabled yet)
4. Enable the Call Recording module by checking the checkbox
5. Reboot to recovery and flash the "
6. Flash the Patch_CallRecording_I9500.zip
7. Reboot
7. Done
8. All the recordings will be saved under /sdcard/sounds folder
Screenshot
Will come later

Nothing is going to happen. First copy the xposed disabler.zip which is mentioned in OP and copy it to SD card. Install the module and reboot. If the phone doesnt boot, then go to recovery and flash the xposed disabler.zip. Thats all. Your phone will boot again. Dont be afraid guys, just think, How many times I must have booted the phone before I released this module! This works aboslutely fine on any exonos device and for other devices, they might have to install the module only instead of patch!
Remeber all the call recording mods which are available here doesnt record the calls properly and you will "Trrrrrrrrrr" noise when you record and this module doesnt have that problem. I will be porting today almost all the modules of xposed which are available as of right now!
Where is screenshots ?
How do I uninstall the apk for the actual call recorder? It is nowhere to be found in my app list
Nevermind finally found it under E, enable call recording

this mod is nothing to do with 3mint. This mod works both on odex and deodex roms. If 3mint mod requires the rom to be deodexed, then you need to be on deodexed rom and then install this module!
Any chanc for I9505 !!???
Thanks

Thanks for the mod, gonna try it out on my Nexus 4 soon! Did you publish the sources somewhere, like github? I'd love to take a look at them, as I just started writing a few Xposed mods myself (see signature).
Cheers!
Can I use callrecorder.apk (https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sMSwxLDEsImNvbS5za3ZhbGV4LmNhbGxyZWNvcmRlciJd), and set in settings "two way call recording kernel depended" and all wil be fine?
Whitch call recording apk you are using?

Did you get it to work on the Nexus 4?
Thanks
During an INCOMING CALL, if the loudspeaker is used/activated BEFORE the the call recorder, then a recording for that conversation would no longer be possible - hitting the call recorder button will do nothing at all. As far as I'm concerned the only way to "reset" the call recorder and be able to record again, would be to (1) end the current conversation AND (2) toggle the screen On/Off. This issue seems to be occurring only for incoming calls - following the same testing steps for outgoing calls shows no negative impact on call recording. I have tested it with screen lock set On and then Off and also answered the incoming-test-calls while the screen was locked, and then unlocked and the issue was always the same for all 4 scenarios. I'll update this note if I'll find a work around. Please post updates/comments about this particular behavior.
