Hey guys. I have a one x and an inspire. Today i got a micro sim adapter and used it in my inspire. Worked fine, until i went back to the one x. Now i can't get mobile data to work at all. It will let me send texts and call people but that's it. Only way i can use it is through wifi. Please help!!

Try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1610277
But do you have a 3g sim card or 4g lte? I know that the hox needs a 4g lte sim in order to get data.

Its not clear what your issue is (what you are asking). Did you use the MicroSIM previously in the One X, and it works fine, and now it doesn't after using it (with adapter) in your Inspire?
I fixed it. I reset the APNs and it worked

I am desperate for some help. I am visiting the US and have purchased a T-mobile sim while i am here.
Data connects but then drops immediately in a never ending loop.
I've installed the T-mobile US firmware but no luck. My uk Orange sim connects fine and ive tried the US sim in a friends UK Desire HD which also works fine.
I now have no idea what else to try.
Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance to any one that can help.

Have you checked your apn settings to make sure your data is configured correctly with T-Mobile?

Yes. They're the same as those picked up on the Desire HD I tried it in.
Interestingly, it began working but after switching to wifi and back it stopped again.

Thats interesting i dont know what the Wi-Fi would have anything to do with your mobile connection. Also make sure you check your network selection and make sure its automatic.

Do you have the phone set to wcdma only? You will be stuck on edge I believe since the euro sensation is 1900umts. You may be able to switch to 1700 by flashing the modem partitions (not included in ruu)

Yes, net selection is automatic and i've also tried different combinations of data type.
No luck there either.
I'm on open sensation rc1 at the moment. I'm going to try a sense ROM but I'm sure it won't help.
I'll give another radio a try.
Thanks guys.

Hi. I searched the forum but could not find a similar thread, so sorry if this has been covered in the past.
I currently have a ATT Galaxy S2 and I bought a HTC One X (ATT Version) on ebay that I should receive next week. The sim card I currently use in my GS2 is the 3g/LTE version and I know this because I have the original packing of the sim card and it says 3G/LTE. So when I get my One X I have to cut my sim card to fit the One X. Is this all I have to do since my sim card is LTE ready or do I have to contact ATT to change something in my data plan to LTE? Will my monthly rate increase because I'll be using LTE ( I think not, but just want confirmation)?
Thanks
You are probably going to have to change your plan to some late plan.
You need to call AT&T and add LTE to your account. There is no change.
Also, if you buy the phone from AT&T, it will include a micro SIM. No need to cut one.

You will want to grab a new sim. If the sim card number does not match up as lte micro sim it won't let you add the lte plan on your account

I didn't have to buy a new sim to get the lte plan. I just cut my sim, called at&t and got lte added. They may have changed protocol or something, but I didn't need to.

The sims are the same. Just different size. If you go to a corporate store they are free. I work at one and we are always glad to to change a sim and make sure your plan is provisioned properly. (Was a big rooter/android fan since the g1 which inspired me to work for att)

If the sim card serial number ends with 2 5 or above on the 9th and 10th digits, you are good to go

You shouldn't have to configure apn at all. And what do you mean by 4g? HSDPA+ or LTE??

I don't know what makes you say that, plenty of people have to mess around with their apn settings.

Reason why is that go phone since they allow iPhone and LTE phones use the same apn settings as postpaid. Every ROM I flash I never had to configure data

Just switched to GoPhone from T-Mobile. LTE working fine without any additional configuration.

Does gophone prepaid even have access to the 4g network? I use straight talk with att SIM and I can't access the lte network. You may be in the same boat

At&t gophone has access to the 4g network now. I think it started in May but not sure on that date.

Yea they gave us 4g lte around may or June but I just now got to changing apn because my old settings still had hspa +
But now for some reason I can't send or receive mms at all and I can't change apn type without losing access to that apn

Hi
I have a Sprint HTC one and an AT&T HTC one x. The one x has no active sim and runs over wifi. Problem being that I don't have WiFi everywhere I go. The HTC one is active and u want to turn it into a WiFi hotspot. Is there an app
that can do this without paying for the one that comes stock.
Thanks
