The link is broken, please fix this.

Just flashed the zip version of CWM 6.0.1.1.
All working fine as I installed SSrls7 zip and extra icons zip , but like you said the proximity sensor when covered made the screen go black although it came back on as soon as uncovered.
I also previously had Swedish Snow RLS7 with stock kernel.
Original gen1 amold, U.K San Francisco.
All in all quite impressed as this is my first go with CWM 6 and touch based recovery.
Anything else I can do to help.

That was the first version, the one posted originally seems to work fine with gen2 and 3 phones.
I made a new version with the lightsensor turned off and brightness set to 150, this one should work for everyone.

Md sum didn't match the one on the link after download.

Works amazingly on my Gen2 blade

Try the new version, the md5 match when i download it.
I'll remove the links to the earlier files soon, the lightsensor goes berzerk on any version of the phone apart from gen3 and even there it doesn't work properly.

Two things :
1. In the mounts and storage menu, there's no "go back" option. You have to pull the battery and reboot to go back
2. There's no option to create an update.zip like you said there was?
Aside from this, love the wallpaper and the touch recovery

1. Yes there is, you just have to scroll down to see it. Almost all menus are scrollable including the "no - no - no - no - yes - no - no" menus to confirm action.
2. go to backup and restore, the option is named "create image zip" it backs up and makes a flashable .zip file from current setup.

Moved to stable.

Just look in the clockworkmod github,, it's all in there apart from the touch, you're going to have to work around it and it's not easy.
In short, you can't do that without breaking touch.

Will do some testing on 6.0.1.2, just making a back-up with the stable version. will report back in a bit

Backup and restoring works as expected, formats all work, mount as USB works, hardware buttons work, no flickering, seems all good to me

Excellent, can you try to make an image zip and restoring from that too?
If that works for you as well i'm moving it to RC, i'll probably release a version with no-op as sheduler since it seems to be a whole lot faster for people with sd-ext ext3 filesystems.

[ROM] 25-04-11 Gambaro ROM V0.2 for P10AN01 tablets (Vega, Viewpad 10s, Mobii, ...)

Small update, still working on this ROM.
V0.2 changes:
Changed to CorvusKernel 0.1
Added reboot option to power menu
Added file manager
New ClockWorkMod recovery
Would like to use one of these overclock kernels, but I get different issues with them when applying to a stock ROM. So for now I have to stick to the CorvusKernel 0.1
Download from here.
2 Ways of installation:
1) Gambaro ROM V0.2
Download ZIP file, copy to your SDcard and use ClockWorkMod to flash it.
2) Gambaro ROM V0.2 NV
Get the ROM from my Downloadpage.
Unzip it to a folder.
Switch off your tablet
Connect USB cable to PC
Boot into NVidia recovery by pressing back button 2 seconds, while holding back button press power button for 2 seconds, while still holding back button release the power button, then release the back button after 2 more seconds
Start lvds.bat and the ROM will be flashed.
If you get problems with the USB drivers or have other difficulties, check ”Advent Vega ? ROMs / Software Updates / Guides / How Tos, Links to ROMs, Flash Updates, Guides, Misc apk’s” on MoDaCo. There you find help for nearly every possible problem.
Have fun and give me feedback.
And as usual: You use this ROM on your own risk. I am not responsible if you break your device, loose warranty, get into a fight with your wife or loose important company data from your SDcard.
More pictures and the download are on my website.
V0.1 Changes:
Removed unnecessary apps like Korean Keyboard, Market replacement apps (didn't work anyway), LiveWallpapers, iFilemanager (FC with BuzzVega Kernel 0.7), help guides, ...
Updated APN list
Changed hosts file with ads block
Replaced wpa_supplicant for access to AdHoc WiFi accesspoints
Changed to Buzz Vega Kernel 0.7
Added new bootloader.bin for BSOD fix.
Added ClockWorkMod recovery and reboot APK from Paul
Added my mod of the NI keyboard
And of course it has the Messaging app, so you can send and receive SMS and MMS.
And just in case someone needs I added Titanium Backup and Visionary Root
And of course the main Google apps -> Market, Gmail, Contacts and Calendar
I kept the original launcher and added the VTL launcher, but its easily upgradeable, as it is installed in /data/app/
I kept as well the Adobe Flash Player V10.1.120.10, as it was coming with the original ROM.
On the graphic side I changed the status bar to a smaller one and replaced the red home/menu/back buttons with green ones. I replaced as well the blue 3G/E/G icon against green ones. The standard wallpaper is my favorite picture of Mount Fuji.
And here are some screenshots:

Sorry, flash with CWM is not possible yet. I do not like the stock ROM method as well, but still trying to figure out how to move to CWM flashable ZIP file version.
At the moment, I end always up with a bootloop.
Positive with this version is that with one flash you get the ROM and CWM and BSOD and Kernel installed.

Did some tests in the last hour. Found a small bug with connecting to AdHoc Wifi. And tested flashing through CWM. Seems to work now. Next update will be flashable thru CWM.

Now I have a spare Vega with WiFi only on sale.
V0.2 is up.
Tried this rom yestaday and it very good.its fast and stable.only problem i had was google maps wasnt finding my location through wifi.i have a advent vega and it doesnt have gps but on corvus 0.5 and cm7, google maps finds my location.any ideas?
Sent from my advent vega using Tapatalk
Did you enable location by WiFi in the settings?
To be honest, I did not try this function yet, as I use my HTC Desire with GPS to set my location.
Will try to find the problem and how to fix it. Seems to be a problem with stock ROMs.
one finger typed from my Android tablet, please excuse misssprllings
Thanks for you reply.yes i enabled it in settings.i think it must be a problem with something thats not used in cm7 and corvus vega rom 0.5. Its not a big issue but it just made me wonder why it wasn't working.

Sure, from the FeaMod thread:
FeaCore Phoenix includes:
-BFQ I/O scheduler 2 r1
-SIO I/O scheduler
-OC up to 1.8 GHz
-smartassV2 governor (ondemand is default)
-JFS and CIFS support
-tun included
-bootanimation support
-new boot sound
- I8150 GPU librarys
-cleancache

This is vanilla. If you install this _after_ the feamod recovery you'll notice no change because the FeaMod installs the GPU driver and a custom boot, and this recovery do not remove them.

Right, my fault. I misunderstood things.
The differences between this and the FeaMod recovery are these:
https://github.com/manveru0/FeaMod-Recovery/commits/gingerbread/
Every manveru0 commit (like replacing sd-ext by sdcard or changing some message) isn't included in the official one. Also, this one has some upstream change that aren't included in the FeaMod recovery because manveru0 left.
Hey, thank you for this. Finally someone is working again on the CWM recovery.
I just want to ask you something about a problem which I encountered during the development of my ROM Crybernation with AROMA-INSTALLER.
Its about the colors in CWM.
The colors on the screen seems to be right, but when I take a sreenshot in CWM with DDMS I get a red picture.
In AROMA there is a blue tint in CWM. But the screenshots have the correct colors. ( See attachments below)
So amarullz the developer of AROMA-INSTALLER said that there is something wrong with the framebuffer.
I'm not that familiar with this but perhaps you have an idea what could be wrong. So you think you can solve this problem?
Also could you delete the additional "No's", like manveru0 did it?
Thank's Man Nice work
I didn't think you would do it so fast

For some reason this doesn't work with ROM Manager yet. I asked some CWM dev, and they said ROM Manager works only if the ClockworkMod is installed using it.
I'll try to play a bit with it.

It’s a fully touch driven user interface – no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

DOWNLOAD:
The fastest and easiest way to install TWRP is to use the GooManager app:
Play Store Link
Direct Download
1) Install GooManager from the Play Store
2) Open GooManager and provide root permissions
3) Hit Menu (or the button with the 3 dots on your screen) and then Install OpenRecovery
OR:
You can find more information and download links on our website!
NOTE: If you're coming from another build of TWRP, you may need to go into settings and tap reset defaults to reset the storage paths so that you can see your zip files.
BUGS:
If you have found a bug, please consider posting it to our github issues log. It's pretty much impossible for us to keep up with the more than 30 threads that we have for the devices that we "directly" support. If you have a significant problem that cannot be answered in this thread, your best bet is to PM me directly, contact us via our website, or find us in our IRC channel below. If you see someone that's struggling, feel free to point it out to us. We need your help to help us keep track of all of our devices! Thanks!
SUPPORT:
Live support is available via #twrp on Freenode with your IRC client or just click this link.
thank you for this, ill test asap
if anyone wants a flashable zip, lemme know. i already have it done
edit: works good. only thing is i was flashing a rom (attempting to anyway) and somehow my zip got corrupted and unreadable. never had that happen before. any thoughts? (it was fine when i put it on my sd card, was flashing a 2nd time, so zip had worked previously and all other files on my sd are fine)
Going to flash this now and give it a try. Hopefully it works out good.

Yes, Firerats has nothing to do with the recovery. Firerats just resizes your data/system/cache portion of the system really so you can install more apps.
I am using it and love it and works awesome on my Hero. :good:
thanks im trying it now, love the use of touch
I am going to leave the automated GooManager install for the Hero on version 2.2.2.0 due to the age of the device and the problems with recovery API 3 and older zips. TWRP 2.3.0.0 does work fine on the HeroC but I'm willing to bet that most zips are using old update binaries that will not install on the new version. If anyone wants to try, you're welcome to download and flash the newer versions manually:
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/heroc
I was going to give 2.3.0.0 a try but like you stated, and someone in IRC said, that most of the zips online for the old Hero are prob all older so going to stick with 2.2.0.0 I think. Thanks for the update though.
Does TWRP require any particular hboot version, or will it function with any of them? I know you need to be on Android 2.3 in order to install TWRP, but I'm wondering... does it also mean that if you flash back to a stock ROM that TWRP won't work properly?
EDIT: My question was obviously stated with some knowledge missing. Recovery is obviously not dependent upon the ROM, as the ROM is loaded after the recovery program is done! But... I'm curious to know, if I made a nandroid backup with TWRP 2.2.2.0, will TWRP2 be able to restore it?

There has been a small oversight with the GooManager route of distribution and the original post for this particular phone. You must have a PC or have a phone that can flash .zips or has a 2.3 or up ROM installed so it can run GooManager, even though this phones last OTA was Android 2.1, so it probably should have a .zip posted instead.
For example, I have a stock but rooted HTC Hero from Sprint as my backup with the latest OTA. So I can't use this method of install for this recovery without flashing a different recovery first, and then either flashing it as a .zip or upgrading my ROM to a 2.2 or 2.3 based ROM. In reality, I think most will just stick with whatever recovery must be flashed first in this situation as I will, even though I wanted TWRP. That said I think most of the users that use this will just want a .zip.
But there is no .zip posted for the guys that can flash it. This also makes it an overly cumbersome option if the handset is in stock state. As I said, I probably won't bother re-flashing, I kind of like sticking to one recovery on a phone and prefer to do minimal NAND writes.

Sorry,
Missed this from your feedback PM
Just fixed the zip on download server
Now, it should flash correctly
Many thanks for the support :good:
Finally Flash it (Thanks Adam)
Working Great.
1) Touch is working great. - It will work after 5-6 Seconds.(If possible just press back Hardware key)
2) Its Superfast.
3) Approx 90% functions are working.(A normal day user can flash it without any problem.
4) Taking backing up normally & deleting data & caches also.
Few bugs:
1) you can't view what you are flashing ( Texts are going quickly downwards to front page & hence you can't see it)
2) 1 or 2 functions aren't working(might be my R problem).
I m attaching the zip file with Adam's Update - binaries.
Flash it & Enjoy. :good:

- About text going too fast: try to enable both "Easy Log View" and "Pause on Logs" options. This should fix it. In a future version, ui_print text will have its own row height, not shared with menu height
- About non working functions: provide a description + log (Advanced / Report Error and attach file here)

Please read change log carefully. If there were really needed things, i'd have updated. Exfat works on n7100 since first release, months ago.
Last version has even a bug in custom restore that no one even noted (it doesn't affect integrity and nandroid function by the way)

is there no way to make a real clean whipe and have nothing at all left except important os file tree?

remaining files are sdcard contents. YOu can remove by formatting sdcard. That won't be done automatically to avoid people loosing their data

thx alot for reply! deeply appreciate it! how about using ur aroma browser that is built in inside the recovery and mark all files and just delete them ? will i be able to reboot into recovery mode after that? i was thinking that recovery files where flashed into a flash memory outside the phones internal memory to be a fail safe place harmless for beeing erased unless flashed with odin or flashed with any compatible recovery we got availible. am i right about this?
so my short question again is can i mark all folders and files and delete them directly through the built in aroma browser?
:good:
im willing to write you good comments and review here or on youtube if it is in ur demands.
