Muti-Live Wallpaper - Asus Transformer TF700

is anyone using this app without any problems? Every time I try to set up differnt wallpers for each screen, it sets the first picture for each screen. Anyone have a work around/fix?
It used to work on my prime flawless

i believe you have to go to the specific screen and set the wallpaper. i forgot, but i know it works. Let me try it out and get back to you.
edit: when you select the wallpaper, did you you choose "Add individual settings"? once you click that, it asks you which screen to edit. Select the screen, go back and you will see an option for Screen X settings. click it and set the wallpaper.

Im sorry, im super confused.
I used to just set up 5 screens and then just single picture and select the picture.
Can you help me from the start lol im sorrry!

Try setting workaround for some home applications to "ignore vertical movement" in the settings for multipicture wallpaper. If this doesn't work, play around with transition effect (set it to none, both in the settings of the launcher you're using and multipicture wallpaper)
I had this problem as well with apex launcher, but got it working after all.

I also used to have this on my prime. I'm trying to make it so that each home screen has a random wallpaper from a selected folder, for a total of 5 different random wallpapers at one time. I have tried creating individual settings, using the various workaround settings, and selecting no transition.

Not sure what the issue is, but i just set up different screens with no issues, just by using the instructions i posted above.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2

yeah i have random wallpapers from various folders for all my screens and it works great.
have you guys tried a different launcher? maybe the ones you are using have some issue with whatever functionality multipicture live employs.

I was having the same problem trying to use this with the stock launcher. It seems that since the stock launcher doesn't have scrolling wallpaper(wierd that the prime and tf300 have it and not the infinity) the app doesn't work correctly. Just my thoughts, not actual fact. But anyway, I say this because when I switched to Nova Prime home launcher the app works without any problems at all :good:

adw ex works fine with mplw, though I think you have to change a default setting about wallpaper scrolling first.

Finally figured it out myself. Was driving me crazy. I'm using ADW launcher. General behavior, animation and effects, then enable wallpaper scrolling.

Ok. So i was right about the home launcher having to have scrollabe wallpaper:laugh:
So, anyone know the infinity doesn't have scrollable wallapaper? Is it because of our awesome resolution? Either way problem solved

Scrollable
Not sure if timrock is using a custom launcher,but I am also starting to thinking that the stock launcher does not support scrollable wallpapers. I tried Nova launcher and it worked in that,now I just have to get all my icons back the way I like them.

Yup, Nova fixed my problem
And I do like it !

Here's a quick write up on how it was achieved.
Transitioning Wallpaper was made using this:
https://market.android.com/details?id=org.tamanegi.wallpaper.multipicture
I created a folder for each "hub" containing appropriate wallpapers (ex. music, games, home etc.) and used the app to point individual screens to individual folders. I've changed the settings to rotate the wallpapers every 5 seconds and change upon double tap.
The "quick view" section on my "Home Hub" was achieved using minimalistic text and just expanded the dark background, overlapping the "weather" widget (beautiful widget>weather forecast)
Widgets used were from:
Pulse
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.alphonso.pulse
Music
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.tbig.playerpro&feature=search_result
Despite all these running on my nook, everything else is smooth and no noticeable impact on battery life (OC to 1.1 ghz).Anything else i missed please let me know.
Just saw the video. And wow. This is just brilliant. Reminds me of the LauncherPro wallpaper tab screens
Could you share some more info about the launcher and layout etc?
Sent from inside a whale.
sure. I'm using ADW EX with a 10x10 grid. I turned off all transitions as they seem to lag the screen a tiny bit. Those black bars were created using minimalistic text background and stretched to overlap the icons/widget.
So it could (in theory) work with normal ADW, but mod the backup file for 10x10
Using ADW EX for my honeycomb layout, and this would be a nice change. Ill try it out asap and post screens
And is it possibly for you to post your wallpapers you used? Just to get the size right and have a base to work from

sure it can. however ive heard it does cause problems.
check this thread out for more info and i'll upload some walls later when i get the time

Hi All Hubs Fans,
I'm newbie in Android, going to get galaxy tab plus in 3 day later but i still deciding shall i go for 7.0", 8.9" or 10.1" size? My country "Asia" Galaxy tab 7.0" plus came with phone call function and i prefer 7.0" instead of other because of the phone call function. But problem is did those Hubs software support 7.0" and i wonder how it look like seem the screen are smaller. I try search Google, Xda and Youtube, no single clue on it.
If anyone did apply Hubs over Galaxy Tab 7 plus, please share your screenshot and advise here.
Thanks in advance

I really liked this concept so I decided to give it a try myself, this is what I got so far:
Also by sliding down on the dockbar you get an option to choose a screen to jump to:
As I said, this is a WIP but I'm quite happy with the outcome so far ^^

Wallpaperize & WallpaperizeFree

Here i am!
Again!
I am glad to introduce you my last application called WALLPAPERIZE.
Wallpaperize is now stable but i want to add features in future, actually it does a very simple thing: it sets wallpaper for you.
Where is the news?
Let me explain...
I am not used to keep scrolling wallpaper, i hate it, so i have ever wanted to set an image as wallpaper but usual methods relay on cropping wallpaper for horizontal and vertical scrolling.
I do not need that, i need an app that brings an image and put it as wallpaper, nocrop no frill.
Wizardii is doing that but i can not understand the odd interface and also the bizzar behavior, so here it is WALLPAPERIZE.
Actually Wallpaperize has some limitations (that i will implement very soon):
- only landscape wllpaper
- can not tile in case of that image is smaller then screen dimensions
Wallpaperize comes in two flavors:
WALLPAPERIZEFREE - Free

WALLPAPERIZE- Paid version (IF YOU LIKE IT PLEASE THINK TO DONATE, IT WILL SUPPORT MY EFFORT E IT WILL ALLOW ME TO CONTINUE TO DEVELOP)
Both versions have and will have the same fucntionality.
This is my first paid application after UPD8R and SWAT, I hope that someone will help me with this latest project in order to continue to develop also FREE applications.

P.S.: it would be very polite that someone of you left some comment here or on play store, please...

Not in this Rom, but i used Gallery and Quickpick to set the wallpaper.
Seems I got same result as the other users. Wallpaper is displaced towards the top of the screen, leaving the bottom black (without image). I'm on 4.0.3/4 with stock launcher.
Any clue why is the app behaving like this?

That is more odd then previews posts... currently i have no clue and no idea why wallpaper is not displayed correctly.
In theory chosen image is rezized to screen size (1280x768, visible area) and then plotted inside a black (in your case) rectangle with virtual desktop dimension size (1500x1280, if i am not wrong).
Virtual desktop is what you see if you keep scrolling wallpaper mode.
Above dimensions are not hard-coded but requested to the system, so i can't explain that effect.
Could i send you a test version trying to log what happens?

You have to set static wallpaper not scrollable wallpaper

how was this possible. uncrop wallpaper stock launcher?

i was playing with my TF700, webbrowing etc and i decided to change wallpaper. i don't use any launcher cause i much prefer the stock launcher and more so now after JB. When i selected the wallpaper (offical asus wallpapers) i notice that it did not crop, it actually show the entire 1920x1200 wallpaper in full. It looked so much cleaner and sharper, made me appreciate the screen much more. I did not change to a different wallpaper cause i was afraid to lose it but after i rebooted my device a day after, the wallpaper became crop again.
Anyone know how is this possible. i want my wallpapers back WITHOUT using a different launcher OR livewallpaper (which slowdown the tablet)

Use picspeed, install picspeed, go to your gallery, click on picture you want to use, in the dropdown menu on the top right select set as, then you'll youu an option that looks like wood thats for picspeed, click that, choose the widescreen format and scrollable (wont scroll) then set wallpaper. Very close to uncropped, just ever so slightly, hopefully picspeed fixes this, much better than standard way of setting wallpaper.

ADW EX updated

Sorry if its been mentioned already but I got an update from the play store today for adw ex. I must say its quite a significant improvement. The updated ui feels very ICS-ish and works well with some of the ics themes out there.
This will def help me wait a few more days until we get official CM10!

Been using ADW for a long time now on both tablet and phone. Main annoyance on my tablet is the "action bar". If I disable it, or add a gesture to show/hide it, the space it's in is always there. So my top row widgets are never at the top anymore. Also, this morning when playing around with transitions I change the app drawer style to horizontal slide (or something) and made both my devises unresponsive on the the home screens. Phone I couple open settings with the bottom button and change it back from there, and then had to reboot. On my tablet though, had no accessible settings button. Had to use main settings to clear defaults and go back to default launcher, uninstall ADW, and then reload the last titanium backup of it.
Oh, and my phone and tablet homescreens. Tablet is running Thunderstorm Live Wallpaper.

The image is too large. Change the size to 1200 x 800 pixels and you should be able to see most of it (I had to reduce the dpi settings on my current wallpaper to be able to use the entire image).
Make a picture that is 3 times as large as the image you want to use that is kind of plain or like a frame then paste your image into the center of that and put the results on your GNote10. Use gallary to crop the image to the size you want to use and your finished.
Set your wallpaper fullscreen is best to use a app call "Multipicture live wallpaper" Here is how it looks...

u can also try multipicture livewallpaper
I was struggling with similar issue - any custom image, even with really high resolution was looking way worse than the sock wallpapers.
When you are setting custom image to wallpaper from gallery, you need to crop it so it fits your screen vertically and horizontally.
Yesterday I've found this app: Image 2 Live Wallpaper and it solved my problem. Here are few sample screenshots:
Setting regular wallpaper - you lose a lot of the image by cropping it so it fits horizontal and vertical screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Vertical compare (no differences):
Horizontal compare (a lot of differences):
You will probably need to play with the app's options - I have all check boxes unchecked.
