i just found it funny never said i believed it nor did i go in asking about the phone lol
i only went there asking about the data plan , because when i went into the version store to ask ,, the guy was no help at all ,, he was talking about how he rooted his d1 and said he had froyo, i said yea , i have a eris running gingerbread,, when he said gb was old and froyo was the newest , i thought it be best to go ask someone else lol
and as far as that rooted phone,,,, i never said it was being released anytime soon,, he said that one of those companies are working on one

Never trust a Best Buy employee. Best Buy hires 90% retards who don't know their **** from their ass. They are dumb as hell. Don't trust anything they say they will lie to get sales or you to leave them alone. Don't shop there and take your money elsewhere(amazon.com). I hope they go out of business like circuit city and compusa.

No they are not. They both went out of business and there are no more B&M stores for either.
Circuit City name and CompUSA name are now owned by TigerDirect and basically you can buy all the same stuff from TigerDirect on either Circuitcity.com, compusa.com or tigerdirect.com
So yes they are "still in business" but its just tigerdirect expanding its business under the name of the 2 companies they bought after they had already went out of business.

Gonna wait for the new dual cores maybe even the iPhone five. re-evaluate in July and get whats best of the lot. I suppose I will have to live with my Eris for a few more months. While it was a good phone, it is hard to read due to the small screen. I did however get new goggles @ 240 bucks so I could read the phone.
I got several emails from Vzw store noobs wondering when I would be releasing my payment. "before the end of Q2." Between us I had an ink issue which was resolved in a pen update the other day. Don't tell the kids working at the VZW store. I just want the check to be bold, bright, and exceptionally readable when I finally release it.

yeaaah, i'm pretty sure the employees didn't know about this deal, especially if it was in a store. Since you know it says 'online only deal'. Good luck trying to get your money back though.

Bahaha that literally JUST happened to me! It says call them or start an online chat but by the time they are open the deal will be expired. I am going to give them a call tomorrow with my order number and see if they will give me the deal anyways.

Just got off the phone with T-mo sales.I added a line and will be cancelling my original line tomorrow,since i'm still in the 14 day period.My FREE new Sensation will here by Monday .The whole process took about 12 minutes and the customer Rep girl was so seet and helpful.
To the OP,Thanks a bunch.

Just called that above number and spoke to a sales rep who already knew what i wanted to do , I was on the even more plus plans, signed a new 2 year agreement and got the phones for free, 2 of them, should arrive on Monday

I get my phones flat out. Been out of contract since they were called Voicestream.

So I busted my screen...USPS rant

Yep, the first time I drop in exactly one year of ownership I dropped it. Of course it landed flat on the face and shattered it. Here is where I get really mad. I bought a new screen with the frame from ebay. The place I got it from is in Norcross GA, I live in Cumming GA. (about 30mins way) Just north of Atlanta. I ordered it on Thursday night, it ships out Friday USPS First Class... I was pretty excited when I went to check the mail Saturday figuring the obvious, should only take one day to get to me. Well It's not in there. I checked the tracking and for some IDIOTIC, STUPID MFing reason it went to Mobile freaking AL to a sorting facility... WTF??? Mobile AL is like 5 hours away from Atlanta GA. Why? why? why? It is now Tuesday and I still have not got it. PISSED! I hate the United States Postal Service. Sorry had to vent somewhere. lol

Really simple response. Welcome to America were the only things done right are by the people who do it themselves. Don't like bashing on my own country since I fought for it but I'll be damned if it ain't the truth.

I might be in the minority here but I've had great service from USPS all my life. Only recall one major problem that had more to do with me and my address change. I do get neighbors mail from time to time though so I am wondering sometimes...

I bought a USB DVD drive from Amazon, shipped by USPS, tracked it. Left USPS in Cal via FedEx to Birmingham, Al to USPS office in Roebuck. If you want it quick they use FedEx and UPS.

NYC SGS3 promotion

If you live in NYC and you have or are thinking about getting a SGS3 head over to 46th street btwn 7th and 8th avenues. Samsung has a tent set up for a promotion to give away a bunch of stuff. I just happened to be walking by and went to the tent to find out what was going on. Went I walked up a guy greeted me and asked if Ive seen the SGS3 yet, I responded " I got mine on release day and its been rooted ever since!" the guy had a huge smile on his face and started laughing, he said "Well then ur VIP" he walked me over to a desk where they had t shirts, water coolers, key chains and other SWAG. Another guy then came up and started talking to me, he told me since I already have a SGS3 I can try to win a prize, he handed me a huge bowl with these little white tags in them and told me to pick one, then swipe the tag on the back of one of the SGS3 display models set up. I chose one and swiped it and I won a $20 gift card to AMC theaters (Dark Knight for free!). I continued to talk to the guy about the benefits of rooting, getting rid of the WiFi notifiaction and head phone notification, changing the toggles in the pulldown and their color and a bunch of other stuff. He told me that Samsung was not happy at all that VZW decided to lock the Bootloader and that they were releasing the DEV edition as almost a F U to VZW. He gave me a free shirt and I was on my way.
Anyway sorry for the long post but I had to share. If you live in NYC the promotion tent should be there for a couple of weeks, at least thats what they said. Go get ur free stuff!

lol, I just witnessed an "Epic mouth foaming" full fledged melt down in a BB...
I started to laugh and the person gave me the stare down of doom, made me chuckle some more.
And then I asked the CSR if they had cheese to go with all the "wine" they just received... The girl teared up a bit and then asked if I would like to apply for a BB CC...
How does a grown person just "Melt down" @ 10:15 in the morning over a device that's not supposed to be released to them until the 10th?
To all the CSR's that are going to be yelled at, called names, need to get a manager or call the cops today. "We" as in the royal "We" apologize in advance. Good luck and please keep sane today.
My mom is coming in to get a phone. All she knows is that it is big, and she doesn't have to squint to see the text messages when the she doesn't have her glasses on.... She won't yell or scream at you. She won't complain about not having accesories. All you have to do is transfer her contacts and photo's. And show her how to assign ringtones. Please be nice to her

This forum has actually made me feel bad for what the CSR's go through. I've always been more than polite to them (because who wants to help an asshole?) but I've silently resented them for not trying to be more sympathetic. Well I see why now, they put up with so much of peoples **** it makes them callous. I'm sure we have some members on this forum that are CSRs and I would love to hear some horror stories :laugh:

I actually just got off the phone with Verizon to ask about International roaming plan options and asked about shipping date for the Note 3 for the hell of it.
The woman I spoke to was like 'Oh yeah, we have it'
I got excited.
Then she said 'It's available on 10/10 for pre-order'
Sadness ensues.

Eventually police show up because a customer or 5 will call them even if the CSR's won't.
I have dealt with the same store for years now. They try to help as much as they possibly can and the majority of the customers appreciate them calling corp sprint and working stuff out. Maybe because its a corporate store or maybe because of the clientele. But Christ, some people are complete douche nozzles... Without any tack or situational awareness. But the CSR's at this store are definitely very understanding and courteous.

Heh. Any chance this is in LA? I've been on the phone all morning with an AT&T rep who's been calling AT&T stores in the LA area trying to find me a black Note 3. None of them have inventory, but apparently some crazy lady is calling around giving everyone a hard time lol.
EDIT: Turns out they do have the black ones in stock after all. Sorry for the misinformation!

Not sure if you heard the news stories about two "adult" women knocking the crap out of each other at an apple store over the "golden" iphone. There just aren't enough of them so they started brawling. That is just so pathetic, it is a phone, you can order one and get it later on. Yeah I want my phone early, called BB, certainly didn't drive there to day and was told nope, the 10th. I was cool with that and figured it would be the case but hey it never hurts to ask.

Yeah there a few stories of people being .. people...
On the bright side my mom got her device and is a happy camper.Which ever CSR she dealt with was courteous and spent time showing her a bunch of stuff and filming it at the same time. Gave her a copy so she wouldn't forget any of the new things she was shown. She gave a $35 tip for their time. And bought the person a starbucks coffee.
