Does anyone else have this problem?
When you're facing the screen. In the upper left corner of the battery cover, it doesn't snap down all the way.
So whenever I take off my case from that corner, it'll take off the battery cover.
I ordered another battery cover from Verizon.
I just want to know if anyone else is having this problem and if the new battery cover fixed that issue
Thanks!

I recently bough the extended battery pack (HTC BP E270) and I am satisfied with the new look and feel of the phone, not to mention the improved up time. One very disappointing thing however, is that the new back cover comes off very easily. Simply pulling the phone out of my pocket makes the cover fall off.
The cover is not broken in any way.
Is there a way to make the cover fit tighter so that it doesn't accidentally fall off.
Put glue under it or something I got the same problem as you, backcover to my 1800 mAh is very plastic and the bottom is not fully pressed onto the phone or what should I say.
Thanks Artie. I would however, like to be able to change the cover for the slimmer one at certain occasions. How do you remove the cover if you glued it onto the phone?

I use double sided tape.
actually, some ordinary transparent tape might be enough to do the trick.
i don't have an extended battery myself so i don't know why exactly it doesn't fit properly, but maybe you can tighten the hold a little at some places by putting some tape on your phone near where the cover holds onto your phone.
Back Cover
blue tac my friends just a small bit in hte right place

I have the same original HTC extended battery, It fits right but comes off very easy.

...or bubble-gum, if you're stingy
(i already broke one of the corner bits because of the constant slip-off)
If I press on the back cover just below the camera it creaks as if part of the cover is rubbing against the phone itself. Anyone else having this issue?
Mine creaks badly as well, but does it on the opposite side, towards the bottom.
You can go to T-Mobile's store and get a new one.It is free.Mine hasn't ggot this issue

Few options here, you can call HTC and they will send you a new cover as a warranty replacement(one time only). Or get an aftermarket over capacity battery, like Anker or Chicitech these batteries are 1900mah and they are a little wider which takes care of the space between the cover and phone(there is more detail on accessory section). Third option is the ghetto solution, take few layers of tape and put it on the battery which creates support for the back cover. I had a little creaky back cover also and new Anker battery took care of it for me.

My one does a little bit when taking out from charger.
has to be pressed side ways.
but its very small movement near the small screw where the metal and plastic meets.
and it started happening after I dropped mine from a meter height (lucky for the floor mat).
I have an Anker battery and it still creaks.
If you're in Canada, dealing with HTC/Bell sucks.
I still haven't had time to take it in store, but I will try that next.
Hi,
The bottom cover on my One S is loose. It still attaches firmly on the top hook but there is a small gap on the bottom edge between the cover and the metal frame/backside of the phone. Anybody experienced this before and knows how to fix?
Or should I just get a new bottom cover?
Thanks
Greetings,
I've just recently fixed my nexus 5 broken on/off switch, and had to open the backcover for it (and had to close and open it a few times more). But now at the bottom of the phone, at both sides, there is a long small gap where I can put my finger nail in when I use a bit of force, which I couldn't do before.
Anyone else has this problem? And would it be fixed by buying a new back cover?
Thanks
Ive had my note pro for 2 months now and i can't return it given the niche nature of this product sourcing parts will be difficult. My back cover i think does not fit perfect over the device this ratting sound which appeared last week out of the blue i have pinpointed it to being the insides being flexed and mov3d slightly causing the back cover to not fit properly,
Clearly this is a hardware issue should i be concerned?
Im worried that the insides will push more and more outward causing either screen flickering issues from a loose cable or the battery connector may get loose. Is the only solution other than taking it to samsung for repair to put a snug case over it thst clips in so that it's held in place?
It is a bit disconcerting when i press on the back it flexes in a bit before i can feel the battery etc
does anyonr else have a loose back cover that doesn't fit flush against the insides?
Crap im starting to think the ill fitting cover might be due to battery swell. Has anyone had a swelling battery in their note pro?
I can't believe i could be that unlucky to get that. I look after my battery i use a fan whrn i charge and it never heats up or overheats so nothing indicates a swelling battery byt when i feel the back it doesn't feel smooth on that side.
No need for multiple threads, you are posting about same problem here: [Q] Tapping on upper middle of screen makes rattle vibrate sound like something loose
Can some8ne give mr an answer at least as to what it might be?
