Wow I'm gonna buy apple then LOL

There's a post in the "Themes & Apps" forum with instructions on how to do it, and you do NOT need an AOSP rom. It runs fine on Sense 4.
EDIT: And when I just "runs fine," there are bugs, such as Voice Search crashing, and I also noticed a significantly higher battery drain, so I've stopped using it myself. I just meant that there's no difference in functionality between Sense and AOSP. (Maybe the battery drain is better on AOSP, I dunno.) The battery drain won't destroy your phone's battery life, but I definitely noticed a difference that wasn't worth it for me. Once Voice Search starts working, I'll likely install it again.

Miui vs Sense 3.0/3.5

Go! Personally I am using Miui right now. I started on VU and then gave Miui a try. It feels a but quicker on Miui and their seems to be a lot more customization

Oh boy. I see this going south. I LOVE miui because it has sms popups, themes galore, a nice dialer, and awesome support.
Sense is beautiful, has many variations, the system apps and widgets go on forever, and it really shows off what android is capable of visually. That said, it seems to take a tremendous amount of work by devs to make sense ROMs easy on the ol' battery. That, from my point of view makes them bloated. But, they can be made into fantastic daily drivers as has been shown repeatedly.
Lately I've used MIUI.

You probably think that TJ is being harsh and ruining a fun thing. But you have to take into account that redundant threads like this pollutes the site and when a noob tries to do the right thing and search for a thread he/she needs it'll be harder to find. And all he/she will do is ask the question in a thread that's been answered many times. Thus, it all just creates the circle of problems.
Powered by a G2x
I ran both.
MIUI on Nexus One, which is incapable of properly running even Sense 2.1, having no devs to completely solve everything (trackball wake) and no graphical power to move it smoothly.
Sense 3.0 on MT4G, which is capable of running it fast and smooth.
Personally, I prefer Sense - it is visually and functionally better. While MIUI fixes a lot of things that stock Android did wrong (T9 dialer, notification bar toggles, launcher - in the aspect of adding widgets, smoothness and effects), it still falls short when it comes to Email, text selection (standard Android has selection position bugs and isn't nearly as comfortable as Sense), and just overall visual experience. But MIUI is small and fast, and on older phones it counts - and it supports A LOT of phones that have no better options. So, for me, if the phone can't run Sense or TouchWiz properly - MIUI would be the next best thing to choose.
I go to miui once in a while but find myself coming back to sense 3.0/3.5 only because its just so awesome... Sense is hands down the best thing that happened to android it adds so much to android... Basic stuff like browser ,mail, contacts integration made perfect.... Sense makes android beautiful with brains but miui on the other side is definitely for lower power phones like say moto defy or something like that... Btw love both of them

I dont personally use it but I tested Speaktoit and it works really well. Answered everything I asked it. I would use it if I where into that sort of stuff.
I also used the IVONA TTS HQ engine with Speaktoit. Not sure if it is better than stock (Pico TTS) but thats what was recommended for me to use by a friend.
O and in actual use, the UI is much much better than the screen shots lol.

Speaktoit is a really great tool. It just supports the english language. It´s not a problem for me. But not practicable within a bounch of people. They would look irritated, when you just speak another language ;-)
First of all, I had to adjust the language which is read by Speaktoit. It was automatically set to default, which was german. So it was terrble to listen to german spoken english ;-)
Without any sounds arround me, it workes perfectly. When it´s a little bit louder it often understand the commands wrong.

[HEADSUP] Sense 4+ JellyBean 4.1.1 for One X International

Football has uploaded the first 4.1.1 ROM for the one X .
Have a look and get the first impressions over here:

Maybe our devs would port this rom to the XL?
Obviously, I didnt do anything over there, is purely Football work

They are completely different phones with only a few things in common, despite their names.
A One S or Evo LTE leak would be much more probable to be ported over here than that ROM.

1. No more keys on the keyboard. Thank god. Keyboard sucks in ICS. I switched to shiftkey because of it.
2. Everything in settings looks great. The new battery usage and task manager look wonderful
3. Gallery is a lot more useful now. You can see cloud pictures.
I didn't notice it being project butter fast though. But maybe it's hard to see it on video.
Edit: minor thing that i really like is the full date in the notification bar (including day).

Nope, I have Swiftkey 3 phone, tablet, and flow installed all at once lol. Just make sure you don't uninstall previous versions when it asks.

The big thing I "miss" from regular swiftkey (really the only thing so far) is the ability to swipe backwards across the keyboard to delete the last word. One of those neat features that I got too used to.... I'm sure I can get "un"used to it.

I find myself typing "of" and "lbs" a lot from swiping backwards lol.
I'm loving the flow typing, it makes texting with one hand much easier. I think they should bring back the swipe to delete feature even with the new flow typing. Maybe if you start your swipe on the backspace key and swipe left it should clear the last word? You would have to be precise but at least you could delete again.

If it violates policy by all means have a mod remove it. I paid for SwiftKey 3 and signed up to SwiftKey vip. I was unaware that the "beta" for flow was a paid app so from my understanding this isn't warez so I figured I'd share with the community. But like I said, if it is mods please close. I'm not trying to step on any toes or violate policy.

"Facebook Home" like HTC One on Skyrocket?

I know we have the "Facebook Home" app from this page: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2232307
But I'm curious if anyone has any suggestions on how to get the "Facebook/Twitter/Social Media" experience like from the HTC One that just got released. The home page scrolls up and down with a Windows Phone like experience updating your social media that you've put into the phone. Then if you swip left or right it brings you back into the world of Android which I like much more than the "Facebook Home" app from the link above. I think the experience is much smoother and brings the best of both worlds.
Anyone have any idea how to do this with their Skyrocket?

Maybe if you did some searching, you'd know that this isn't called Facebook home. This is blink feed, bundled with HTC sense 5. Smh
Edit: feeling nice today, try SO.HO launcher from the play store.

A port (if it could be done at all) would involve crazy amounts of time and effort. Since BlinkFeed is a Sense feature it relies on HTC's Sense framework which is not included in non-Sense ROMs. Best bet is to use the above launcher or learn to Dev yourself.
Best bet is not use Facebook at all, lol
