I dont personally use it but I tested Speaktoit and it works really well. Answered everything I asked it. I would use it if I where into that sort of stuff.
I also used the IVONA TTS HQ engine with Speaktoit. Not sure if it is better than stock (Pico TTS) but thats what was recommended for me to use by a friend.
O and in actual use, the UI is much much better than the screen shots lol.
Jeannie is very similar to Siri, works great.

Well voice actions can do the usual thing like dial a contact and google search..etc. I like the way I can set the alarm via voice actions.

Speaktoit is a really great tool. It just supports the english language. It´s not a problem for me. But not practicable within a bounch of people. They would look irritated, when you just speak another language ;-)
First of all, I had to adjust the language which is read by Speaktoit. It was automatically set to default, which was german. So it was terrble to listen to german spoken english ;-)
Without any sounds arround me, it workes perfectly. When it´s a little bit louder it often understand the commands wrong.

I loaded up the latest MIUI on my friends inspire, very jealous and feeling animosity. So we shall continue to pain our heats with our favorite MIUI features. Mine happen to be the endless supply of lockscreens and the smoothness of the UI , yours?

i loaded it on my friend's inspire too. its very very clean that's my favorite part, the transitions are cool looking and the lock screen & notification pull down are nice, but after 20 minutes i got really annoyed at the UI. It resembles the iPhone UI a little too much.
I've never actually used an MIUI ROM before, but I have used some of the apps. The camera, music app, and the web browser are awesome... I can't wait for a full working MIUI ROM so I can try it out, however long that might be
transitions are nice @ lippstuh - - i dunno i got annoyed with it as well, but i know if i had it on my phone give me 20-30 minutes and it won't even look the same

What is there not to like about MIUI?
But really, one of my favorite things about it is how easy it is to change themes. Then take into consideration that there are so many and it's freaking awesome.

In all seriousness about that, I tried merging of Cyanogenmods radio interface layer and i had data for about one minute and then I wasn't able to bring it back. I am not claiming to have a working solution since I am extremely new to developing and was just using newb ingenuity. The only problem that I ran in to AFTER the fact was that my dumb old phone wouldnt go back in to 4g, no matter which rom and radio I used lol! I <3 MIUI

This was my thought after looking at some of the screenshots as well - however, it doesn't mean I won't be giving it a fair chance when we have a working build
I was playing around the other day with a buddy's iPhone 4S and found Siri phenomenal. And so I have developed a strong desire to have a similar application on Android. After a quick search on the Market, I came across a ****-ton of siri-clones. They all have their pros and cons, but "iris" seems to be my favorite.

I think you guys should check it out, while it is nowhere near as sophisticated as the real thing, it's pretty fun to play around with.
Also, if anyone finds a better alternative, please share!

Wow I'm gonna buy apple then LOL
There's a post in the "Themes & Apps" forum with instructions on how to do it, and you do NOT need an AOSP rom. It runs fine on Sense 4.
EDIT: And when I just "runs fine," there are bugs, such as Voice Search crashing, and I also noticed a significantly higher battery drain, so I've stopped using it myself. I just meant that there's no difference in functionality between Sense and AOSP. (Maybe the battery drain is better on AOSP, I dunno.) The battery drain won't destroy your phone's battery life, but I definitely noticed a difference that wasn't worth it for me. Once Voice Search starts working, I'll likely install it again.
Can anybody tell me how or if I can get get S VOICE on epic touch? Im on the goodness rom? If not is there something like it?
Right now S Voice only works half the time anyways. It has some serious issues with server support. Check out the market for a few different "virtual assistants".
Nothing works better than Google Voice Search though.

I didn't find S Voice as bad as everyone says. It's not great, but I owned a 4S for awhile and Siri was really mediocre, especially when needed like in the car and hands free. S Voice didn't need to do much to be comparable, and heck it actually opens apps!
Eva/AVX is the most advanced voice assistant I've tried, especially paired with Tasker, but it's not as user friendly to the beginner.
Ok...Ok
If i want s-voice anymore theres a really nice working port here at xda
