But I'm curious if anyone has any suggestions on how to get the "Facebook/Twitter/Social Media" experience like from the HTC One that just got released. The home page scrolls up and down with a Windows Phone like experience updating your social media that you've put into the phone. Then if you swip left or right it brings you back into the world of Android which I like much more than the "Facebook Home" app from the link above. I think the experience is much smoother and brings the best of both worlds.
Anyone have any idea how to do this with their Skyrocket?

Maybe if you did some searching, you'd know that this isn't called Facebook home. This is blink feed, bundled with HTC sense 5. Smh

A port (if it could be done at all) would involve crazy amounts of time and effort. Since BlinkFeed is a Sense feature it relies on HTC's Sense framework which is not included in non-Sense ROMs. Best bet is to use the above launcher or learn to Dev yourself.

Why are so many roms coming with 5 row app drawers..I hate them..The scrolling on them is is jittery and the app icons are smaller..I wish more developers would include a flashable zip for the stock 4 row..The transparent stuff is wack also..just my two cents no one has to agree

Since I don't have to agree, I won't. But if you don't like it, I'm sure you could search this site for a mod to remove it.
Ummmm ok..thing is the developers have to make a mod...I've been rooted since the days of the G1 so I'm pretty knowledgeable..the mod would have to be on the same frameworks as the rom u have or you will encounter problems..can't just flash any mod for it..my original staement was as to why the 5 row drawers seem to come with every rom

If you don't like it, replace it. Get another launcher, like launcher pro, that you can specify rows x cols for your app drawer

Being a knowledgable Android person, you would know these mods are made in Rosie.apk, not the framework. And seeing as how every rom is based on stock, all you would need to do is pull Rosie.apk from stock unmodified rom and push it into your current rom, making sure permissions are right. But I'm sure you already knew all of this since you owned a G1...

OP: As to why "most roms" come with a 5 column app-drawer, I believe it's because most people want that. Not to minimalize your needs, but if the masses demand it, give them what they want!

Yes I know the rosie apk can be pulled...I've done it before on the Htc Evo using root explorer and setting the correct permissions..I'm not a dumbass..there are times when the rosie simply will not worked being pushed to the system..this is my post expressing that I don't like them..if I needed help doing it I would have asked..some people need to spend more time realizing this is a forum and not tryna feel the need to prove something...NEXT!!!

You pushed it wrong then. Other than that, only issue would be you have the wrong Rosie. Anyone will tell you Root Explorer is not exactly the way to push framework files and Rosie.apks. For a knowledgeable person, you seem to know so little.

I did not complain..I expressed MY dislike of something..No one has to agree but respect my decision to not like something..I'm not downing any developer and appreciate there work. There is an app called TeamViewer downloader. You install this which then goes out and installs the actual team viewer software on your device. It worked fine on my VZN GT.

I might could help you on this. Your launcher idea looks great. The thing is that i still haven't done much open GL yet. In fact i couldnt make a simple shape in openGL because it keeps force closing but once i get better i can hit you up.

No, I wasn't assuming anything. The link Chongo posted works from anything you access it from.. pc or phone, xda app or browser.

Wifi toggle
IMHO this may be the best app on the market.
but I wonder if anyone can help me lately I have lost functionality with my wifi toggle before it used to turn off with one click now it brings up the settings page. Which I do not want. I recently started experimenting with the Carat app, the greenify app, the battery doctor app, and the clean master app... is it possible that one of these apps is forcing the settings page? I am a user of Launcher 7, and even though it is great, it is always unstable for me - especially as you add more tiles.

i haven't used it, but it looks like it was made from a cheap, fail dev.
