Pretty sure it has to do with daylight savings time.

i read this from somewhere else but i think it has more to do with the different locations you can have setup and have it rotate through.
setup multiple locations in your weather widget and see if the number changes when it rotates to another location.

You can setup multiple locations, but the sunburst #1 indicates Daylight Saving Time. This fall, when we all get an extra hour of sleep, it will go away (until Spring). That is, unless you go to a location that doesn't observe DST.

Wrong Temperature on TF3D Weather Tab

Hi,
I just got my HTC Touch Pro about a month ago. So, far I love it and it's ability to customize. But there is one thing I cannot seem to fix. The temperature for my city on the weather tab is always about 15-20° colder than the actual temp. The 2 closest cities to me are right on. When I click on more and it takes me to the accuweather page it's correct there. Why wouldn't it show the same temp at the webpage? This is quite annoying, I'd love to use the weather tab, but as of right now it's useless.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
I need to ask the obvious question - For the city that is problematic, did you check to make sure that you've got it set to celsius or fahrenheit (whichever you use)?

Of course. If that was the problem the other cities wouldn't be right.
I do understand the need to ask such remedial questions, but this time it's not the case.
I believe weather pulls from yahoo weather or weather.com, i forget. Check there to see if the temperature is the same. If it is, it's a server error.
Pretty sure it'S accuweather, and it's accurate. So, how do I fix?

Sorry, I thought you could set it individually for each location. Nonetheless, my next question - is this a custom city that you added with the weather database editor program, or is it one of the preloaded stock cities? If it's a stock city, then I have no idea. If it's a custom city, then all I can say is that I had issues where the temp was off and the time was messed up, but only on my custom cities (i.e. it would show the wrong temp and a moon in the middle of the day). Doesn't help much, but figured I'd share to maybe get you down the right path.
Well bummer. It is one of the programed cities. I tried adding it manually into the registry and it didn't make a difference. Thanks for trying though. If anyone else has any thoughts I'd be glad to hear em.
...or even a suggestion for a decent weather program I can use in it's stead.

This is right, so besides from only checking temp-settings in the panelsettings you might also check your regional settings, just to be completely sure.

Nope Regional settings doesn't offer a C/F option. Not to mention the temp conversion doesn't match up.

thats not what i was asking but thanks anyway. what im asking is is there any way for the lock screen and your home screen to show the weather for another city besides the one you are in now?
soooo i figured out how to change the city on the famous clock/weather widget on the home screen all you have to do is hold the widget like you are going to remove it from the screen but instead drag it to "edit" in the top left and voila! you can also see full screen animations as an option which looks pretty cool

not everyone has the means or resources for this method, but you could move to that "other city". very low-tech resolution.

I already have two other cities added in the weather app. I just wanted to know if there was any way to view say Miami's weather on my home screen when I'm in NY without having to select the weather app and go to the city. The way I said how to do it avoids having to click on the weather app because it shows it on the home screen.

No, Gunny was adding it to the App, he was adding it to the Weather Clock widget, they're different procedures.

Wearable Widgets for Gear 2

Wearable Widgets (beta) for Gear 2 is just out on the Samsung store. You can now use any mobile widget to show up on Gear 2 screen. The feature is really great and you can also control the widget from gear 2 like pass touch inputs to phone.
I have enabled zooper widget and use it to show time and weather and call tasker objects.
It is a bliss on Gear 2
Check it out.

Awesome
This is a GREAT app!
Awesome app! One of the most useful apps available. Thanks!
SUPER ! ..Can I just add one widget?
Awesome. I installed it immediately. Off course for Tasker. I use Launch-X widget in which i create the shortcuts. But i find it to slow, especially when the phone is off.
I also used it to display my tasks, so i could read and fill in the items into another task app. Of the first section it was perfect. But when the screen of the watch is off and turned on again, the widget is reset for the first items. Not to the last scrolled position.
You can add only one widget per device..
I use zooper to add only my functions as a single widget.. Calendar, time , date , battery life and tasker icons

I can not open the widget on my watch anymore. It is saying "Unable to connect. Do you have Wearable Widgets on your phone?"
Already rebooted my watch AND my phone. Still the same.

Works great. Will you be able to add the ability to have more than one widget per device? It would be nice to be able to scroll through at least 4 or 5 of them. Thanks for the hard work.

If you read the first post, you'd know the dev of this app isn't the OP. To answer your question though, the dev left this on G+
"Clarification for Gear 1 & 2 owners: Currently, the Wearable Widgets app has two editions, both with a significant limitation:*
• The one available through Google Play (including this beta group) does not support Gear 1 & 2 devices.
• The one you can download through Samsung's app store (including via the Gear Manager app) only supports a single widget at a time.
The reasons for this are complicated, but are generally due to a number of restrictions that Samsung has put in place. We are working to develop a solution to both of these issues, and will release it as soon as we can - but for now, this is how things stand, I'm afraid.
Thank you for your understanding, and your patience."

My settings are 4 x 3 widget, Big Bar. Readjusted to the smallest size to accommodate the Gear 2 screen
Super psyched for this .. been looking for a way to use zooper. Thanks a million homes
Any way to set this as default for lift arm gesture?
Cool app shame can't select the s5 weather widget with time etc. But cool app

Just change the setting for what is shown on wake to last app / screen.
That means I need to go to the wearable widgets app continually before I am 'done' doing whatever I'm doing
The developer has indicated they are working on the ability to make this a watch face. I am looking forward to that update.

This just rocked my world... I don't know why I didn't think of that. Duh. Thank you.
Thank You
That's great, Thank You.
As I've been using it - I actually don't mind having it not be the main watchface. What I've done instead is make it accessible from one of the 9 shortcuts from the Multi-Watch "swipe-up" launcher panel. That way I can still have the customizable watchfaces of multi-watch, but when I want I can launch an info panel widget that has time, date, watch battery level, currently connected wifi SSID, current weather w/ 5-day forecast AND my next 3 calendar appointments. Using a customized Zooper widget for this. I've made a request to Zooper to allow adding Google tasks list items and the phone's volume state to a widget.

Menus are gone

Good morning,
I haven't been able to wear my Gear S2 since last weekend and now when I put it on my menus are gone. I can't find anything except my steps, heart rate and the music I had downloaded. How do I get my menu's back?
What menus?
I figured it out. It's not really a menu it is like a quick start screen for certain apps. I just added them back in.
In Gear-land, those are called "widgets", and are dependent on the app developer. Most apps right now do not have widgets associated with them that can be placed in the "home" screen sequence.

Accuweather - sunny every day!?!

Just setup a new S3 frontier with my iPhone 7 (I know ok!). Not my first smartwatch, by any stretch, so managing the S3 OK.
However, one thing that is bugging me is the Accuweather app.
For my location in the UK, everything appears correct, apart from *every* weather icon is set to sunny, even when the 'text forecast' is cloudy.
Anyone else had this?

I'm also in the UK, but using a Galaxy S7 not an iPhone.
By Accuweather, I assume you mean the Weather app on the Gear S3 itself?
If so, mine is fine (even if the weather isn't!):

thanks Zippy.
Yes, I was referring to the built-in Weather app (with data provided by AW).
So this morning I factory reset & tried the watch 'standalone' without a connection to phone. The Weather updated correctly with the right icons.
I then reset again & set it up with my iPhone & its still displaying the correct weather icons. Go figure

My main gripe at the moment is that the hardware is nice, the software seems a bit ropey.
My Apple Watch just works (ok, still with an iPhone) & I'm more inclined to cut people like Pebble (RIP) a bit more slack. Samsung, not so much..

Since an Apple watch paired with a Samsung phone doesn't work at all, I'd say Samsung is doing pretty good having its watch work with an iPhone... If you want the seamless integration of an Apple Watch-iPhone combination, then get a Samsung phone.
