why when I bring the frequency over 1000mhz the phone restarts?
i'm using CyberGR v14 and Air Kernel

You need to read about overclocking and all it entails, before raising the frequency mindlessly over the limit...

Hey people today I flash UC Kernel V08 NOC to my phone DDKP2 2.3.6 but I was not able to see improvement in video recording. I saw in the comments that Chaos and team has fixed only V08 Overclocked version. So i was thinkin why not overclock my phone and then flash OC version.
My question is I have installed NO FRILLS CPU Control.. I Wanted to know what setting should i keep on it and then should I flash V08 OC version! Thanks

@Dude, Yes you can flash OC version over NOC version - but i believe that currently NOC version is more stable than OC ; However OC will definitely give an inch over NOC in performance.
but in the uc kernel thread I saw that fix has been done for OC version whereas for NONOC version there is not fix....

yes and yes
Agreed.. and Iam Still thinking why do we need 1.2 OC???? anyone?!?!?!
Well, after installing Sch ROM, ICS Theme, and UC-Kernel v8 with OC everything is running super smooth. I'm able to play Dungeon Defenders on highest graphics quality (which is in fact native screen resolution), although my quadrant benchmark has dropped from 2600/2800 to 1500.
Why not? Of course it would be better to have some more frequencys to choose from and i would like to also have additional 1000 MHz as a frequency the CPU is clocked maximum in standard situations and only manually "overclock" to 1.2 GHz in example for gaming.
1.2 ОС-is the speed!
to fasten our phone! althoug I have overcloked but not able to see any major overhaul!

have you enabled a cpu managing app like Nofrills CPU control?
you wont really recognize the improvement in daily usage, try out a HD game like asphalt, you WILL fell the difference, (in performance as in battery drain^^)
I need a new kernel because I believe Matr1x causes occasional reboots to my phone so what are you guys opinion on the best rom?

bedalus created a great thread/spreadsheet for us exploring that question https://market.android.com/details?id=ccc71.bmw
i personally use the trinity kernel.
I don't get random reboots unless I'm overclocking with 1460, then it resets the over clock to normal. However when I boot my phone it doesn't always work so I usually have to take out my battery and boot again. But I've had that problem since the last ROM I used (codename 1.20 a.k.a Neapolitan flavors ICS)
Nexus S - CyberGR Hybrid ICS (5), Matrix Kernel (15)
Up voltages by 25mv and that will fix your reboot problem.
Hey guys I'm using on my Nexus S(i9023) - CyberGR Hybrid ICS (5), Matrix Kernel (15),
min freq 200mhz, max freq 800mhz, I/o scheduler deadline, governor lulzactive , deep idle on, and I've the same issues of 309041291a, I flash this rom whit clean install , and I've random reboots 1or 2 a days, and however when I boot my phone it doesn't always work so I usually have to take out my battery and boot again. And when work hard with nexus I've a battery drain? Somethings wrong in my settings?

sounds like you need to try a different rom or kernel
i got this problem when i used Creeds 3.0 and no frills to overclocked to 806 Hhz, with conservative govenor and I/o scheduler : deadline.... i got a loud beep and my phone hung... though i remove the battery adn rebooted and it worked.... so i tried on 787 mhz adn the phone again hung?
Am i doing something wrong ? Please help
Looks like your phone can't handle the overclock.
i have a samsung galaxy fit and it can be easily overclocked over 800 mhz in other custom Roms

well this rom cant handle it, thats all just find the oc that is stable
hmm... i thought it could be that ... something to do with cf files
might not be the rom so much as the kernel it comes with. If u like ur current rom flash a different kernel
okay, so i flashed a kernel recently and it came with the smartassV2 governor. when i set it to this i notice that it jumps frequencies, and stays doing this. is this normal with this governor? and if it isn't how can i fix it?
PS: I'm running trickdroid v6.20 [TMOBILE]
with fusion ultimate kernel v1.0

This should answer your questions.

When I install a kernel that OC more than 2700 MHz my phone sticks on Google logo and continuously reboot... If kernel UC and/or OC up to 2700 MHz then phone boots normally
How I can fix it...
CPU SPEED BIN: 1
ACPU PVS: 2.(nominal)
Ok.. I can tell you a fix for this..
Don't overclock to 2700

Then flash another kernel.
Don't oc above 2.7.. Simple. Or maybe you just need to up the voltage…
Don't do it dummy
Kinda funny I was reading this and the XDA app crashed.
But your phone may just not over clock that high.
