[Q] Phone starts always in blue CWM doesn't load any rom - Samsung Infuse 4G

Hello
I was using my infuse running REMICS 1.2a custom rom perfectly fine. In fact, it was so nice that I decided to make a backup of it. I went to rom manager, selected backup, the phone restarted in blue CMW recovery and did the job (supposedly)... but right after that it just reboots into recovery. ALWAYS.
Tried to restore using the backup I just made but it still boots into recovery. Wiped data, cache, devik cache, etc... tried reinstalling the rom using "install zip from sd card".... it clearly installed just fine but it still reboots on blue CWM recovery. Tried many other roms, no luck.
Tried using Heimdall one click, it recognizes the phone but fails. After that when I try to put the phone in download mode it now shows a phone, a yellow triangle and a monitor on the screen and says:
Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.
Now I can't even go into recovery mode. As soon as I start the phone it shows me that message. Opened Kies but I'm not sure what to do.
Downloaded Odin, tried to flash several md5 images (as an administrator) and it fails: "Complete write operation failed".
please help! don't know what to do!

That is another form of download mode...try another usb run the one click again...

[Q] phone keeps booting into recovery.

Hey,
I've recently had a friend of mine give me his phone to look at.
It's a Samsung I5801
I tried installing numerous ROM's onto this such as stock froyo and kyrillos 9.
Whenever i install through Odin i get to the stage where the data needs to be wiped through clockwork. Pretty straight forward, however when the phone is rebooted after this Odin does not detect the phone and will boot into recovery again.
Any ideas? I'm not much of a samsung kinda guy woking with htc all my life lol.
Solved.
Flashing a stock ROM, with bootloader in tact did the job. Had to say was sweating a bit as many were saying it could hard brick phone... Used European JPA.
Flash through ODIN i pray to god no one else has this problem
Wipe using Recovery
Just go in recovery mode and Wipe Cache and Dalvik-Cache.
Problem solved........
I have hard bricked my galaxy 3
I installed ClockworkMod recovery and selected to install ROM from SD card
my phone restarted and booted in samsung,s recovery mode
I selected wipe data and nothing happened for next in 2-3 mins,
So I removed battery and rebooted phone which again booted in samsung,s recovery mode for number of trials.
Then I renamed Rom Filr name to update.zip and moved it to root of SD
and rebooted in recovery and selected option Install update.zip which after some time started executing.
Phone rebooted and now it doesn't show anything else than samsung boot logo.
please help me out.

Cannot reboot system from Clockworkmod Recovery

Hello, so I tried to back up my system via Nandroid in CWM recoveryto my external sd card. When the process was finished I clicked on reboot system now so I could continue my preparation for flashing a rom. It showed the Samsung Logo and the Splashscreen, but then enters the CWM recovery. I also tried pulling out the battery and then pushing the power button, but it still boots into CWM recovery. Any help? It looks like my phone got messed up and I can only use it in CWM recovery. Help is much appreciated.
Maybe Odin back to a stick firmware if you can get into download mode.

[Q] Cannot install ClockWorkMod Recovery P5100

Hi! As you can see, i cannot install the CWM. I searched for the other threads but those didn't seem to help. So here's what i've done.
I use Odin3 v1.85. It installs fine.
Even though it seems that it installed CWM fine, reboots and ****. But when i try to reboot to Recovery, it goes to stock recovery. WHAT DO I DO WRONG?
didn't think the 10.1's had it, the 7's have a thing where you must boot straight to CWM recovery after flashing the recovery .tar file, if you boot up at all it automatically replaces CWM with the stock recovery. maybe this is your issue.
Well okay. I try that.
Well, that didn't work out.. What now?
use odin to install cwm make sure you dont have the auto reboot box checked.
-after it is installed then unplug the usb and then press the up volume and power for it to boot into cwm.
- after you boot into cwm the screen will be green and install from zip option will be there.
-choose reboot
-it wont reboot but will give you a warning that says something about cwm will be replaced. select yes and it will automatically reboot.
-cwm is now installed.
if it didnt work try again following each step above. I just figured it out and it works as of 2 minutes ago.

Help.. Phone not booting up after restoring data!!

I have messed up. After installing supersedes , to get my contacts back I restored data from my old normal rom and now the phone is not even booting up. I tried several ways to Atleast install rom again or restore. But nothing is working. When tried to restore, error saying md5 mismatch is coming. If tried to fresh install the rom, it's getting aborted. If rebooted from recovery, it's coming back to the recovery itself. Pls help.

you didnt messed up that badly.... follow these steps and you will get your device running up.
*Download ODIN from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1133787
*Download a stock firmware from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1004647
*Run Odin.
*Set your phone to download mode : Press Volume down + OK first, then hold Power button.
*Connect your phone, you should see Odin shows your phone is Added with COM number.(if it doesnt shows up on the com port then reinstall samsung usb drivers)
*Extract the contents from the zip, You should have a .dll and a 200-300 MB PDA file.
*At this point you should see Re-Partition, Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time unchecked.
*Click PDA button and select the only PDA file in the zip folder (Here you should not touch any of the Re-Partition/F.Reset options as the newer Odin automatically selects it for you, how conveinient!)
*Click Start button to flash these files to phone.
*Do not touch anything till you see PASS on the program window.
*You have your SL working now

[Completed] stuck on boot screen ,please help...!

I own a samsung galaxy ace duos phone (gt s8602) , i recently downloaded the cyanogenmod 7.2 and later opened the boot menu in my phone and installed the mod from the folder of phone. as soon as it completed installing, it displayed installation completed.and then my phone automatically got rebooted . but after loading the samsung boot animation it paused for two seconds, then again loaded the samsung boot animation and then keeps doing it again and again. i again opened the boot menu and factory reseted and cleared cache, but still it keeps doing the same...please help me guys...!!!
Thank you for using XDA Assist. First, always make a nandroid backup in your custom recovery before flashing roms. If you don't have a nandroid then you'll have to flash the stock frimware using odin. You can get more help here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31713212#post31713212

Thanks, anyways i should have made a backup, but i didn't which was my fault.... but now i can't do anything since i'm stuck on the boot screen. the only thing i could do is open the bootscreen. hence i planned of installing back the stock firmware by selecting on the "apply update from sd card" . but the thing is that, even it says apply update from sd card, when i select it , it just shows up the files on phone and not the "external storage" which is the only way by which i could copy the stock firmware and then install it.
Now as you said i could install it through the odin mode, but i have no idea on how to use the odin mode and how to install it. the only thing i know is that i could open the odin mode in my phone by pressing the powerbutton+home button+volume down button. please can you assist me in installing it through the odin mode...?
Please see this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...08-2013-odin-3-09-odin-1-85-versions-t2189539 The only thing you need to worry about is flashing the .tar.md5 file in Odin's PDA slot, AP slot for Odin 3.0 and higher. Google odin 1.85 xda to download Odin v1.85 which will work fine. If you have additional questions please post in the links I supplied or here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31713212#post31713212
