[Q] SKY ISC 4.2F-4.5B Dialer Issue - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

I've been running SKY ISC 4.2F-4.5B with Sky ICS F5 stock modded kernel and the UCLF5 radio, since yesterday morning. This is a great ROM, but I am having an isuue that I believe is caused by the dialer. When I call my office voicemail from my phone and I'm asked to enter my password, the password is not being recognized from the keytones.
This is the first time I have experienced this problem on any of Sean's ROMs. Has anyone else had this issue or does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I have almost the same spec except running the F3 version of Sean's Official release kernel and I my voicemail password is recognized no problem. Maybe try editing your voicemail dialing number and resaving it?

[Q] Text messages not being received

Seems like I've been having this problem regularly since I rooted/installed Fission ROM. I even SBF'ed back to original, but it didn't seem to fix my issue. I regularly have to reboot my phone to receive text messages.
I can't seem to find any rhyme or reason to it. I've tried re-programming my phone, but every time it attempts to reprogram, it makes a weird noise and reboots.
Am I experiencing a hardware problem, possibly? With the radio?
Honestly no idea where to go from here, but inability to receive text messages = huge problem.
Are you using it on Verizon or on a non-Verizon GSM/HSPA network?
I've got the same issue using my milestone1 but milestone2 has more ram, so that problem should'nt appear at this device.
I believe I'm on the Verizon network, I'm using it in places I've always had good coverage.
Update: I re-installed Fission 2.4.3 I had from backup and installed Handcent SMS. So far, so good. I haven't appeared to miss any text messages since then.
Still, it's a very odd situation. Hoping Gingerbread gives some more stability, though I'm not sure why it would matter.
This has happened to me on TMOUS and to a friend as well...I have SGII she has MyTouch 4g...after reboot, a flood of undelivered texts comes in...all with the same time so doesn't help when trying to see when originally sent.
I'm rooted/custom rom and she's bone stock...wondering if its a network issue or android problem

[Q] SIP not working on ICS [NS4G oICS v40]

Hey, has anyone tried any SIP clients on any of these builds? None of them seem to work -
SIPdroid - I know this worked prior to the 3.0 kernels. My roomie is running it just fine on V26, but since I updated to V40, no dice.
3CXPhone - No dice, won't even register.
CSipSimple - Registers, but doesn't make called
Built in ICS Sip Accounts - Not really sure, I entered my info and it says "Dialing" but never actually rings
Is this a problem with ICS where something changed? I'm no dev, but I've troubleshot the best I can, can anyone confirm if their Pbxes accounts work or not?
I used Sipdroid to link my Google Voice with my pbxes account.
I'm running oICS V40 with Glados 2.1. I never update over a previous version, I full wipe for every rom. Everything else works wonderfully
On 4.0.1 it was working correctly on my I 9023
Didn't yet tried to setup my account into the official build, will try it soon

Right, it was working fine on my 4G on 4.0.1 as well as my roomies who's currently on that. Once I got up to 4.0.3, it seems to kill all SIP or VOIP. I'd guess it's something from the old kernels to the 3.0
Can anyone confirm or have a work around?

[Q] Bluetooth Address Book Download Issue

Hoping someone out there can help me
I have the Verizon G3 and have installed several custom ROM's. I really would like to have CM10 as my DD but I am running into an issue with most of the CM10 variants. I have a car stereo with Bluetooth support, I have no issues pairing the phone, that works OK. But shortly after I pair my phone I receive a dialog that asks for permission to download my address book to my stereo (this is an extremely handy feature since I can then use the car's voice activation feature to place a call e.g. "Call So-and-So on Cell". When I give the phone permission, it seems the download never completes. Normally, the stereo will display a message that says "Download Complete" but in this case I never see that message. Also, when I try to use my voice activation the stereo keeps telling me "Phone book still downloading", This happens on any CM-based ROM that I try, it is very consistent so I am assuming there is something in the base CM code. If I install any ROM based on stock I have never seen this issue, the phonebook download completes in a few seconds. I have also tried pairing an iPhone and a Blackberry and everything is fine.
I am wondering if anyone else has seen this issue and if anyone knows a way this can be fixed? This is my "acid test" for an acceptable rom for me so I am hoping I can get this addressed so I can move away from stock.
Thanks in advance!

Guess I am the only one with this issue? I just tried installing CM10 M1 but it still has the same issue. I will try some other JB-based variants to see if I can find something that likes my stereo :fingers-crossed:
Same thing happens with my Ford Sync system. This last time I turned on the auto download or auto update (forget what it's called) and somehow my address book is completely downloaded.

Thanks! I recently downloaded Incubus23jc's JellyWiz R3 running 4.1.1 (which I believe is a port from either T-Mobile or AT&T leak) and the address download works just fine. So the issue isn't directly JB-related. Guess I will try to submit a defect on the CM site.

[Q] Bluetooth issue with VRBLK1

I installed this latest jellybean leak for my Verizon GS3.
Pairing is not a problem nor is auto connect. My problem is the audio is completely garbled and inaudible during voice phone calls from my car.
I have an Infinity G37.
I did not have any problems before I flashed this leak Prior to this, I had flashed CyanogenMod 10 unofficial nightly builds with no problems. Prior to this, I had also used the latest verizon release for ICS with no problems.
The phone (as currently flashed to the jellybean leak VRBLK1) pairs and works perfectly with my wife's BMW Z4.
I have reset, unpaired, cleared the cache, etc and I just cant get this to work. I have tried different radios with no luck. I have downloaded and tried different bluetooth fixes from the marketplace with no luck.
My only option is either flashing back to ICS, or CyanogenMod 10 unofficial, but I prefer not to do that because other than this problem, everything else is perfect.
I have searched the forums and am unable to get an older version of Bluetooth Share (Would like to replace 4.1.1 with 4.0.4) which i suspect may fix this problem.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I do a lot of calls in my vehicle and we have a hands free ordinance in our city.
Nothing?
Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?
You've got it: 4.1.1 issue. No idea on a fix, I'm back to ICS as a result. Isn't a modem issue it seems (unless interaction between JB builds and particular modems), seems to be a JB issue (reported across phones with lots of different vehicles).

[Q] No PagePlus voicemail notifications after flashing CM10.1 on DroidIncredible

I've been using [ROM][UNOFFICIAL]Tiny's CM10.1 Inc builds (NIGHTLY) on my HTC Droid Incredible phone and it has worked well with few issues. So I put it on my wife's DINC too. Since installing it she has stopped getting voicemail notifications from her cell service, Page Plus. It might just be coincindence as she's had past issues with voicemail such as a new messages counter that was always 1 too high until after much frustration with PP customer service they fixed the issue. I don't use Page Plus (I use Google Voice with Freedompop's free data service and everything is peachy) so I don't have an easy way to test this without taking my wife's phone from her while I mess with it. And their customer service is not enthusiastically helpful when one is using unsupported software on an unsupported phone.
I tried turning notifications off/on through Page Plus's personal options menu. I tried clearing data under phone.apk and tried another full wipe, clear Dalvik cache and reinstall and tried a couple other voicemail notification apps through the Google Play store without success.
Google searches show some have had to use a patched phone.apk to fix a lack of voicemail notifications after installing custom roms, but I don't know if that's relevant to this case. I tried searching directly through these forums for related issues but currently get a message "vbulletin: searching temporarily unavailable"
Before delving deeper into trying to determine whether the fault lies with Page Plus, this rom, or some configuration issue I was hoping for some guidance. Sorry for polluting the general thread, but I'm a newb with few options.
Having same issue. I have Page Plus as well and cannot get any visual notification of voice mails. Any help would be appreciated. Just upgraded from Gingerbread and like Jelly Bean except for this small issue. Thanks.
Thanks for letting me know you have the same issue. It strengthens my suspicion the issue is with the rom and not with Page Plus. The problem with searching these forums went away and with further searching it seems likely the issue lies with phone.apk, but others fixes for this issue appear to be specific to the carrier and I did not find one for Page Plus.
Our temporary work around was to set up a Google Voice account for my wife and forward her voice mail there. But that has a few drawbacks. Now she needs a data connection to get her voicemail and Page Plus prepaid data is silly expensive so she only gets her voicemails while connected to wifi.
I expect we'll soon try flashing back to a known working rom and see if the issue goes away. If so, that will confirm the issue is with the new rom. I'll post an update when we know more.

I tried several free voicemail notification apps from the Google play store but none of them worked for Page Plus under any of the versions of Jelly Bean that I tried.
So in resignation I flashed CM 7.2 and voice mail is working perfectly again. I'd appreciate hearing any solutions for getting voicemail notifications working for Page Plus in Jelly Bean on a droid incredible but am unlikely to explore this further on my own.
Got both mms and voicemail notification working with AOKP Jelly Bean Milestone 1 on my Fascinate with Page Plus. I tried CM10.1 and Gee Wiz 4.2 and neither worked. Gee Wiz worked for the mms but not for the notifications. CM10.1 did not work for either mms or vm notification. So, AOKP it is for me! I really like JB and did not want to go back to GB. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I'll look into AOKP for the Droid Incredible.
