I've a problem with my phone, since two months now, I noticed that my phone is not logining in to Windows Live, I've tried during this two months arround 100 of diffrent roms, I've also tried all the Radio versions, with no use.
at the same time also, I've noticed that the phone arabizer software is now using another serial no. (I was using one serial no. whatever the rom that I'm using), and as this serial is based on a user key (a combination of letters and numbers based on the phone model and serial no) this led me to figure out that my phone model is NULL (instead of PU10).
and I think that's why the Windows Live is not connecting, becuase it somehow checks the phone model number before connecting.
Anyone can provide me any help????

Have you tried of uninstalling and try another version?
If yo do a SEARCH you will find a lot of different versions

I've tried many versions, all of them is not working.
I guess that my problem as I mentioned above, the phone model number disapeared

Hi all, I recently bought a HTC Hd7 Windows mobile as a second user, everything works great and as it's meant to. The thing is whilst looking through the phone settings I seen that it still had the previous owners phone number stored as "My number" in the settings. There appears to be no way to edit it. I have tried software reset and a hard reset both with sim in and sim out. Does anyone know how to edit this to show my number ? I know it's not a big issue with the running of the phone but I would just like it to show my number. Thanks for any help in advance

Besides the fact that Kies doesn't want to connect to my N8000, a second issue is that it doesn't accept my tab's serial number neither... Anybody successfully tried/used Tools>Firmware upgrade and initialization in Kies with the N8000? It asks for the model number and thereafter the serial, accepts it as valid format, but just asks to reenter it (please check the serial number and enter it again).
How can´t it accept a serial if it does not connect ?

Oh, there's a popup where you can register your device and check for firmware releases.

try to reinstall KIES or drivers in your laptop. I can see my SGN10.1. after reinstalling drivers in my laptop so try it also.

I am new to forum so apologies now if i get anything wrong. Will do better.
I have installed on my PC W7 Kies for my Galaxy Note 2, all working fine, have been able to transfer any file I wanted to. Have today tried to install my Galaxy Note 10.1 to transfer files and am getting the following message pop up, "This device is not supported by Kies".
I have checked both the PC and the Tablet for updates but both are saying that they are up to date.I have un-ticked the WiFi only box in software update thinking this may have something to do with it.
And have uninstalled then re-installed Kies on my computer, am I not able to run two devices off of Kies?

I had the same problem. Try to "diagnostic connection problem" it will reinstall drivers, that it should works as mine

Well....spoke with Samsung trying to understand this "Incorrect S/N" Kies insists, that comes from the sticker under the battery in the Note 4 phone from Sprint. Seems Samsung doesn't provide a S/N in the instance of Sprint and MetroPCS. The carrier does. When Kies is loaded to the laptop/computer, it "reads" the carrier from the computer. Calling Sprint (in my case), the representative took 55 minutes to find in the account the S/N for the phone. Seems had insurance on that phone and it was cross-referenced by the telephone number. Mind you this whole thing is less than 2 years old. The SN the Sprint representative gave me was the same number as the "DEC number" on the sticker, inside the phone, under the battery. The same number Kies says is incorrect.... <fp>
Further, Calling Samsung back, and being told by "Murthy P" to go ask friends and relatives to "borrow their phone so i can call their Voice support group (do you smell "tossed over the cubicle wall" here?), I asked for a Supervisor, who them informs me that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 "doesn't have a Serial Number that Kies 3 requires." Though Matthew at Sprint found the Serial Number to the phone:

Jim : X-( I see the sticker, and put all the numbers I've found there into Kies. It keeps saying "The S/N you have entered is incorrect. Please renter and try again." There is only 1 sticker under the batter on the NOTE 4. The same place it suggests in Kies.
Riyaz : Jim I should inform you that there will be no S/N available for your phone.
Jim : But as I told Yamini, in the FIRST conversation with Samsung, back around 6pm this evening:
Yamini M: I will be glad to assist you in getting the serial number.
Jim: Thank you.
Yamini M: Jim, I should inform you that Serial number is handled by carrier. Once you contact your carrier they will help you with serial number.
Jim: Sprint has the serial number for Kies??
Yamini M: Yes, Jim. Mobile will have serial number which is handled by your carrier.
Jim: that's not what Yamini said, or indicated with Kies, or offered by Sprint. All 3 point to the same information that Kies says is incorrect.

Riyaz solution to Kies mis-programming, the Youtube video, the firmware, and software, and all the training in Samsung's Chat Center are all lies. She sent me a UPS sticker to "mail my phone" into their repair shop for a software "upgrade".
Kies keeps on saying check the model and S/N number and try again for my grand prime plus
Well that could be a number of reasons why .Try reading the threads fixes.

Hey everyone! I really need your serious help because i was on Hp touchpad with cm9 also rooted so I got new Samsung Galaxy 10.1 note tablets... So I use TB since year ago, I backup the app with data (save game) left off, so I went on pc for copy tb file from hp to pc and then I put tb file to samsung galaxy 10.1 is now rooted also... TB launch and restore it... The App with data working then i went to game... the data save game is gone but not apk.. i repeated over 8 times to make sure everything what i do also i do uninstallled and restailled this sht still not working so I have start all over again...
Help I need to get my data game put to samsung galaxy to get work i still have save tb on pc anyone have issue about that??
II went to bed with my Note 10.1 N8000 with Gnabo ver. 6.5 ROM and a HTC M8 on the table by the bed a week ago.
Before sleeping in I heard that I got a SMS on both devices (two simcards with the same nbr. from provider). As I was almost sleeping I didn't check the SMS before morning. On my HTC there was no SMS.
My Note 10.1 showed recovery screen. Tried to boot but without any luck. The EFS folder was corrupted. And sorry to say, the EFS folder backup I created years ago is nowhere to find. So now I have lost my Imei and have no network.
I have used the tool Chimera tool to get a fake IMEI for testing and check that there are no hardware faults with the Note 10.1. Everything is fine.
But what happend.
1. Service SMS broke my tab?
2. Gnabo 6.5 have bugs that can make the tablet unusable?
I have read numerus threads and articles about how to recreate the original IMEI, without any luck. And some threads and sellers says the the only way to recreate IMEI is to use a special cable.
But the point is, repairing IMEI can be done without cable. But how to recreate it myself?
