team.fluxion Freeware Products: - Android Apps and Games

'team.fluxion' is a name today that has gathered attention from all over the world more as a team that develops software applications for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs as a hobby (we don't do this to earn a living, we are employed as normal people do the daily crap office work). We choose to utilize most of our personal time in creating software, writing programs and other such technical activities. We also design software for other operating platforms like Microsoft Windows and have recently started some development on Android. We just create to learn and hence, most of our products are for free. The team comprises of not many members, but two of us who are Electronics Engineers by profession and are software programmers 'by choice'.
Most of our creations are absolutely free for everyone to use. We encourage suggestions/ideas for improvement, if any, from the visitors of this website so that we can come up with new tools and applications that will ease up our daily work.

Been waiting for the XP Mod for awhile. Anyway, menus seems distorted under 193 dpi.
Apps start way too quick. like... instant => unreal. No bootmenu too. Would be nicer if windows are floating around.
How about an option for wallpaper? And some setting options, too.
Anyway, great start. Looking forward to updates!

Here are our boot animations: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1503289
If you keep XP Mod as your default launcher and our XP Boot Animation, it will complete the full sequence (You can always disable lock screen on boot).

No thanks, I prefer using XP Mod as a fun app for showing off purpose, hence no need bootaniation as default.
What I'd like to see is these animation being integrated into the apps, with tweaks and mods... to make it as perfect as Winmo version.
I believe this app has big potential, if you push it to the limit, I'm sure it'll be huge!

I just nerdgasmed in my nerdpants, this is a real bonermaker on the Int. S3! Love it!
It obviously needs a lot of work as it is still beta but with a few things such as pinch to zoom, being able to change settings, and to place apps on the home screen then I'd give up my own personalised theme for this!

[APP][RELEASE][OPEN-SOURCE] The Seven+ Calculator

Seven+ Calculator for Android
The Seven+ Calculator is now open source on GitHub!
Current version: gamma two
Now introducing the custom WP7 style status bar (and the ability to disable it)!
This Calculator is now part of the Seven+ Project.
Features include history, shake to toggle vibration when a button is pressed, accent color chooser, and much more!
Please leave suggestions below, I would love to continue to improve this app!
--
Announcing the release of the first application to be part of my Windows Phone 7 User Interface for Android: Windows Phone 7 Calculator. As such it is freely available on the Android Market. This is the first public beta, so expect bugs. Your feedback is highly valued so if you wish to suggest another application for development, inform me of bugs, etc. please do so. Below is the Market description:
--
Inspired by the beauty and simplicity of the Metro User Interface, Windows Phone 7 Calculator offers an easy to use, effective alternative to the default Android calculator application. This calculator includes all basic operations (multiplication, division, subtraction, and addition) as well as advanced operations (sine, cosine, tangent, logarithms, exponentials) and more.
In the portrait orientation basic operations are displayed; in the landscape orientation advanced operations are displayed. The memory function saves a number and the preferred trigonometric mode (degree, radian, or gradian) even after the device is rebooted.
Press the menu button to be given the option to choose the preferred accent color, which will display using the fly out animation.
--
This calculator is the simplest demonstration of my Windows Phone 7 User Interface for Android. Please head over to the donate version if you would like to support development. By donating or giving a good rating on the Market I know if I am doing a good job.
Thank you for reading,

Great app and the transition is nice. Few basic things which I would like to see in WP7 Calculator:
1. I like it when the phone vibrates when any button is pressed, like when I press the menu button for changing settings.
2. Also, the settings button should change its color when I touch it.
3. When I choose a new accent, please take me back to the calculator interface immediately.
4. Give it a good icon please, the current one doesn't look good. Give it a metro icon.
5. History of performed calculations? I miss it as compared to stock calculator.
Rest is wonderful!
Cool, thanks for the suggestions.
1, 5) I will consider these. I'd prefer not to have an entire settings page just to enable/ disable vibrations. As for history, while I haven't used a Windows Phone 7 phone to verify, from what I've heard I do not believe that it a feature of the app. If so it should not be too hard to do, but I cannot figure out how the AOSP calculator stores history.
4) Where do you suggest I get a better icon? I am using the one from the Metrostation set. I am not much of a graphic designer, so making my own would only be worse.
2, 3) I just updated my UI framework to support these features, and implemented them into my calculator. In my next release I will include these.
- Tom
May I suggest name it something other than "Windows Phone 7 Calculator" so microsoft doesn't send you a cease and desist letter.
Well I've published the previous #2 and #3 updates to the Market, go ahead and check it out.
As far as a name goes, if anyone has any suggestions feel free to let me know; I not sure what to call it. However a C&D from MS is too far fetched, worst case I change the name (are they going to say that they patented the standard layout of a calculator, or rectangles with solid colors?).
If anybody has suggestions for an icon, a name, or perhaps a way to get the project more publicity it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
- Tom
Good Start for a Metro like ecosystem on Android
Thanks for this calculator... It is well done and joins the list of my other Metro like apps ...
Since you are looking for a new name, how about naming it after a Greek alphabet... for example, 'Omega Calculator 7' or something .. This makes it sound cool..
I like that name, thanks for the heads up. My next release will have quite a few changes, so a new name is suitable.
- Tom
MetroCalculator for the new name.
Also in WP7, all the accents fly in 1-by-1 not on 1 page. Just suggesting! ^_^
Thanks for your suggestion.
I have yet to decide on another name, although I would not mind one that could also be a brand, i.e. UberMusic, UberSomething... MetroSomething is already taken.
As for fly-in one-by-one, I will look into this but the layout used for choosing the theme color is part of a library project so I would need to figure out a way to do so without interfering with the Activity lifecycle.
Oh nice! Gotta try this out.

Must-have apps for Android

Personal opinion, this is a list of Android apps that you should have on your Android device. Of course, there are hundreds of thousands of apps in Google Play, if you like any others and think they are "must-have apps", free to leave a comment below.
1. Dropbox
Everyone knows what Dropbox is and if you don’t you should get it. Cloud storage for all your devices so you can access files from anywhere, on any of your devices. An extremely helpful app that is free and uses someone Else’s storage space.

2. AirDroid
Transfer just about anything you can think back and forth between PC and your device over Wi-Fi with AirDroid. As well as that you can send messages, update contacts, change ringtones and control most things you would want to from your computer, all through a web-based interface.
3. SMS Backup and Restore
If you are an Android User who has a rooted device and tests out new Roms regularly, but wish to keep your SMS messages on your phone, or maybe if you are just a bit of a paranoid parrot, then SMS Backup and Restore is an app for you.
4. Moborobo
Don’t waste the seconds it takes to open up your browser and type in moborobo.com. Moborobo is a leading Android Smartphone Management Software that can be installed on your Windows PC. With Moborobo, the management of your Android Smartphone becomes fun and easy. Manage contact data: Sort, find, organize and backup your contact data, such as your contact list as well as your messages. You can create groups for your contacts and import/export them between your pc and your device.
5. Pocket
Pocket is an Android app that allows you to save web content to view later. Saving the content within the Pocket Android App, you can view it at your leisure at any time on your Android device, or even send the list to an email to be accessible from wherever you like.
6. Google Maps
Google Maps is one of the most useful apps available for Android. Plot courses, get guided towards your destination or just look for better paths. Google Maps is an excellent GPS navigation tool for Android users.
7. Wikipedia
Open up your browser and type in Wikipedia.com. Open the Android app and type in your search that is sure to deliver you with the best Wikipedia results for your search terms. Provides all Wikipedia function so get it now.
8. Angry Birds(multiple incarnations)
It seems like everyone in the world has or have had a go at Angry Birds. Don’t get left behind as someone who hasn’t experienced it. Plus, it’s a great time waster for those periods of utter boredom. A new version with new game mechanics is released every now and then, so the fun will never run out with Angry Birds.
9. Go Launcher EX
Go Launcher EX might not be as fancy looking as some of the launchers that specialize in animations and cool effects, but I dare say it's more functional than many of them. My own reason for using it has a lot to do with the widgets, both in terms of functionality and the ability to make them look the same.
Well, those are my own favour. Sure, not everyone will enjoy all of these apps. You can provide what you are interested in. Or if you like the list of apps, you can have a try!
It will be a bit Captain Obvious-ish but here goes:
* Titanium Backup
*AnTuTu Benchmark
*No-frills CPU / SetCPU
*System Tuner
*ES File Explorer
*Link2SD
*Google Googles
*AK Notepad (Straightforward Notepad App, very useful if you have a memory capacity like me - as much as a fish)
*(Optional, for campers, xtreme sports nuts etc.) US Army Survival Guide
Never heard of Air Droid. Definitely a fan of transfering things over wifi. Currently use SwifTP. Will try Air Droid. Thanks
.

Failure to comply with forum rules will result in an infraction and/or ban depending on severity of rule break.
Thanks for the list. I've just discovered AirDroid because of it and must say I love it.
I've been using Quick Settings by halfbit since the G1 days. I like how you can add it to the notification bar. I would link to it, but I'm a new user.

Yeah, AirDroid is absolutly wonderful and the interface is quite beautiful after connect through WiFi. But it does not have the backup and restore feature. I thought it a pity. So I sometimes use Moborobo to backup my data. I will use many similar apps at the same time so that I can manage my device better.
You guys forgot the most important apps of all, and the only reason for some of us to buy a smartphone.
google voice and grooveip = free phone service.
I've also been using advanced wifi lock, because my x10 mini w/cm-8 won't follow the wifi keepalive setting.
thats obvious! the dialer is the most essential app on my phone. next are contacts and calendar. the rest is optional
I think you can now add Flipboard to the list.
[APP] Flipboard for Android
droidwall to control the apps that can connect to internet (wifi or 3g)
titanium back up
es file explorer
adfree (to remove ads)
3g watchdog!

By this statement you just lost one of your downloading people (me), and if it wasn't for that it's all the exclamation marks and capslock in the OP.
Still I want to give you feedback for your app: It might have potential (even if it's far less than you think it has), but transparency was cool in 1998, and the same is true for the icons. Make it Holo White/Dark/both.
Good work! good idea! but I get a NullPointerExeption and the app crash! This appen when I scroll down the listview in the sdcard tab...

Nice fake reviews.
Ads....gross....no thanx. It looks and sounds pretty nice but i HATE ads...especially since your ad free version will only be available in your roms...come on
Hey OP, your over-enthusiastic promotion will cost you users. Try not promoting the app, and it will promote for itself. Plus the design sucks. We need a minimalist layout. Try looking on dribbble for cool layouts. And if you promise to be as promising as your OP promises, well you can be promised some users. The thing is there are so many file managers like es and cm's that aren't even considered by me as an additional download. In order to counter tgem, you really need some innovatively-revolutionising ideas, like for example a built-in fridge or microwave. You get the point.
The thing that gets me is(other then the questionable ui) what does this bring us that root explorer does not already do? Sure it's not free but it is worth every penny and it does:
multiple tabs, Google Drive, Box, Dropbox and network (SMB) support, SQLite database viewer, Text Editor, create and extract zip or tar/gzip files, extract rar archives, multi-select, execute scripts, search, remount, permissions, bookmarks, send files (via email, bluetooth etc), image thumbnails, APK binary XML viewer, change file owner/group, create symbolic link, "Open With" facility, MD5, create shortcuts.
I have used it since my first android phone and have never found myself in a situation that i wanted to do something with files and it would not do it.

Lewa OS translated into Spanish, French, Russian, Itlay and German

In fact, the Neonado OS was developed not directly from the pure Android 4.2 but Lewa OS, which has been quite popular here on XDA-developers.
Now there are two custom-made operating systems specially optimized for cellphones powered by MTK chipsets, namely, MIUI and Lewa. The Xiaomi company conducted such optimization on MIUI because its low-end brand Hongmi adopts MTK6589 and MTK6592. Meanwhile, Lewa is a software company devoted to the localization of Android.
As the two redeveloped operating systems are mainly aimed at users in China, both of them only contain the Chinese and English packages as well as local app stores instead of Goolge Play.
The contribution of Nenonado OS, to be simple, is that it is a re-internationalized Lewa OS. The new operating system contains the Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Russian language packages besides English and Chinese; Google Play Store was preinstalled; and most globally popular apps are included, too, such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, Skype, and Whatsapp.

According to a friend of mine from whom I got the chance to try the OS, Neonado was made by a company called Axgio, which is about to release its own MTK-powered cellphone for all over the world. Predictably, the phone will run on the Neonado OS -- after all, no company does anything for nothing. The new phone is said to be named Neon N1, but I haven’t googled any official information about it, or Axgio, or even the Neonado OS. So the story should be about a new company and its first product.
Apart from all the background information, the Noenado OS has the following features, most of which were inherited from the Lewa OS.
1. Compared with Lewa OS, the user base of Neonado has an expansion of billions thanks to the 5 language packages added.
2. Neonado relieves you from the burden of installing indispensable apps, especially Google Play. As for other preinstalled apps like Facebook and Whatsapp, you can uninstall as you will.
3. Visibly, Noenado is an overhaul from Android 4.2.
a. On the lock screen, you can slide downward with different buttons to the home screen, dial pad, or short message, respectively; either sliding leftward or rightward, you start the camera; holding the home button triggers the torch; and local weather report is shown here, too.
b. Away from pure Android’s "home screen plus launcher", Neonado’s home screen includes only one layer, where you can drag an app to anywhere or overlap 2 icons to generate a folder, pretty like the IOS .
c. Pressing the blank of the home screen and holding it, you see a menu rise up, containing many widgets. You can add one of them to the home screen by just a click, and the size of it is modifiable.
d. If you keep sliding rightward on the home screens, a special tray will finally come out. First of all, there is a list of recently opened apps here. You can kill one of them or stop them all by clicking the broom incon to release the RAM. On the same icon, you can see the instantaneous usage of RAM anytime you need.
This tray is no doubt the real unique part of the Neonado or Lewa OS, a special part for saving. Besides the task killer, there are buttons for the control of mobile traffic and shift of power consuming mode. You’ll be warned if your traffic data consumption exceeds the upper limit you set.
You may also see a shield icon here, which represents Tencent butler, a Chinese homemade real-time security software.
From this tray, I feel that Lewa company has given great important to thriftiness. BTW, you can hold the home button to switch to the tray when you are in any app.
e. The dropdown canvas carries both the notifications menu and control panel. On the latter, the switches of 11 frequently used functions are listed, including some fashionable ones like barcode scanner. Of course this list is customizable – you can replace any of the switches by another in settings.
The notification function is very user-friendly -- you can add some apps to blacklist so that you won’t be notified any more when messages are pushed from developers.
f. There are three ways in which you can make a screenshot, clicking a button on the control panel, clicking another in the power off/reboot menu triggered by holding the power button, or long pressing the power and volume-down keys at the same time.
4. Some essential apps or functions are fantastically enhanced on Neonado.
a. The Contacts app is a very smart directory, which must have cost a lot of sweat and passion of the Lewa team. Compared with similar apps, you can add more information about a contact, including instant messaging ID, personal website address, and notes. A contact can be categorized into a group and only one click is needed to send a piece of message to all its members.
In the contact information page, you can choose either to make a voice call or write a message to the people, like what you do on IOS 7; switch between SIM cards requires only a slide; check of call and message history is enabled here; and it’s easy to send the contact information of some people to others.
b. A fashionable feature is that you can start answering an incoming call just by putting the phone near your ear without clicking the answer icon.
5. The user interface of Neonado is a feast to the eye – both background images and icons are more vivid and crispy than they are shown on the original Android.
6. In China, the Lewa is well-known as a thrifty system in terms of RAM, power and mobile traffic consumption. From a three-day experience, I do feel this Neonado cellphone a little bit agiler than others with the same components, and the power saving effect is quite obvious.
In general, the Neonado OS has some spotlights that are easy to attract eyes, and I think many people want the ROM to flash. But Axgio just sent some samples to cellphone sellers for feedback, and I don’t known whether and when it will release the ROM. Anyway, when the so called Neon N1 is sold, the OS won’t be kept in cell.
I have seen the Themes Store in the video. I want to know whether I can download themes from the Themes Store in USA.

Hi, this is in fact the theme store of Lewa OS. I've tried and all the themes are applicable on Neonado OS. See if you can download themes from this page http://zhuti.lewaos.com/. If yes, i think you can download through the theme store, too, which, after all, is a website.

Yes, you're right, and i've changed the title of the thread. But the installation of Google Play store is quite annoying for many people, it's good that they pre-install it.

It also supports bing wall papers, which can automatically change everyday.
It has fully integrated File explorer, which seamlessly blurs the boundary of apps vs files, in a nice easy to understand fashion.
Notification center will definitely take your breathe away:
Last but not the least, we recently integrated support for dual apps.
We are slowly but steadily adding more new cool features week by week, which will take your breathe away. Please bless our hard work by trying it out, giving feedbacks, and sharing with your friends and family.

Please check it out by going to play store and downloading com.InternityLabs.Launcher.WinX package.
When you press the start button, you will see the list of currently installed apps. By touching and holding an app, context menu will show up, which will enable you to move the app to desktop. If you touch and hold an app which is already on the desktop, you can move the app around to your favorite place. It is also possible to move an app to a new desktop through the menu that will pop up when you hold an app on the desktop.
Critical apps, such as phone, messages, camera etc can be pinned right at the start panel, which will provide you a quick way to access these apps. Once you are done configuring your pinned apps, this feature can be locked via the personalize menu preventing accidental unpinning.
The search button enables you to search for any app or the web using some in built options such as google, Bing, Facebook, Youtube, or Appstore. Once you find an app that you were looking for, you can locate that app on the desktop using the associated context menu.
You can further personalize your view by changing the grid size to provide more space for apps or increase the size of apps on the desktop. You could also change the background of your screen.
The system tray also has controls for Wifi, volume, battery status, date and time for easy control.
You can also create folders, widgets or shortcuts on the desktop menu.
Unlike some other launchers, we have worked hard to integrate notification support into the launcher by providing app badges. It can be turned on from Notifications control panel under ‘More Options’.
Don’t forget to rate and leave great comments. If you feel that you need some other feature, please feel free to write us an email. Our contact details are inside ‘about page’.

I don't think because I didn't find these anywhere. And the file manager is not even fully windows 10 style. But the overall performance is good, isn't it ?
it does work nice. on android, .nomedia files tell gallery apps not to look in that folder for pictures. its good for when you have stuff lile manga. this file vrowser recognizes this and ahows no media files
Is there a way to edit the "Start Button" Icon?
