You can mix and match icons from various icon packs and make it look cool.
It also supports bing wall papers, which can automatically change everyday.
It has fully integrated File explorer, which seamlessly blurs the boundary of apps vs files, in a nice easy to understand fashion.
Notification center will definitely take your breathe away:
Last but not the least, we recently integrated support for dual apps.
We are slowly but steadily adding more new cool features week by week, which will take your breathe away. Please bless our hard work by trying it out, giving feedbacks, and sharing with your friends and family.

Please check it out by going to play store and downloading com.InternityLabs.Launcher.WinX package.
When you press the start button, you will see the list of currently installed apps. By touching and holding an app, context menu will show up, which will enable you to move the app to desktop. If you touch and hold an app which is already on the desktop, you can move the app around to your favorite place. It is also possible to move an app to a new desktop through the menu that will pop up when you hold an app on the desktop.
Critical apps, such as phone, messages, camera etc can be pinned right at the start panel, which will provide you a quick way to access these apps. Once you are done configuring your pinned apps, this feature can be locked via the personalize menu preventing accidental unpinning.
The search button enables you to search for any app or the web using some in built options such as google, Bing, Facebook, Youtube, or Appstore. Once you find an app that you were looking for, you can locate that app on the desktop using the associated context menu.
You can further personalize your view by changing the grid size to provide more space for apps or increase the size of apps on the desktop. You could also change the background of your screen.
The system tray also has controls for Wifi, volume, battery status, date and time for easy control.
You can also create folders, widgets or shortcuts on the desktop menu.
Unlike some other launchers, we have worked hard to integrate notification support into the launcher by providing app badges. It can be turned on from Notifications control panel under ‘More Options’.
Don’t forget to rate and leave great comments. If you feel that you need some other feature, please feel free to write us an email. Our contact details are inside ‘about page’.

Oh wow ! now it looks great !!!

My home screen :

Dear developer, here's a scren shot of bug i found with the latest (29/7/21) update. I can't set this launcher as default. I have the app installed but I can't find it in home settings as you can see below.
Edit : fixed. Thank you !!!! You were way too quick !!!!

Is there a way to have the file explorer show files in folders that have the .nomedia extention? a view hidden file setting or something?
Edit: also, any chance for network drives?

I don't think because I didn't find these anywhere. And the file manager is not even fully windows 10 style. But the overall performance is good, isn't it ?

it does work nice. on android, .nomedia files tell gallery apps not to look in that folder for pictures. its good for when you have stuff lile manga. this file vrowser recognizes this and ahows no media files

Is there a way to edit the "Start Button" Icon?

[APP][-v1.0.1-][14/6/11]AppGrouper, a simple, catagorised app launcher for android.

[OK, got some stuff done this weekend (not too much, got some family going over to a different country for a year, so they had to be ... sent off, merrily )]
It seems that with every mobile OS released, I hate the way you launch apps. I always end up with tons of apps and it always gets tedious to find and launch the one I want quickly.
To solve that, I've made AppGrouper. It's a quick, simple, catagorised application launcher. The idea is to pin the app to your homescreen, and launch your apps from there. It frees up all that homescreen real-estate into just one button:

You add apps by just hitting the "ADD APP" icon or long clicking on any app icon after you've added an app to a category. You can add category buttons (or rename/delete them) by long clicking on a category button.
This is version 1.0 of my first android app, so be gentle
Nah, just kidding: send/post everything and anything you find broken (I don't expect much to be) or would like different or to be added. Don't be shy Even if you don't like the colour
PS: this works great on my Desire HD, both on Froyo and Gingerbread. I'm real curious to know if it works on other devices!
--UPDATE 14/6/11--
Thanks for all the feedback, guys! It really helps!
Anyway, I posted v1.0.1:
-fixed scrolling issue
-cleaned up interface (you won't notice ... much)
-code cleanup (removed some calls which were unnecessary)
Still working on:
-swipe gesture
-multi-select of apps to be added to group
-getting the app to recognize that your trying to launch the context menu when you hit an empty GridView item (Man, that's obtuse! I really don't want to write my own onTouch listener and throw away the contextmenu code )
Also, ITS IN THE MARKET!!!11!!01!
So, if you're using this (as I suspect a few of you are ), donate me a cup of coffee for the hours I've been putting into this by buying it on the market, please! Thanks! Maybe I can take my girlfriend out to celebrate

Finally... I uploaded a draft apk to Market, so now you guys get a shot Let me know if it works for you and what changes you'd like and what advice you have!
Just installed and testing it out, really like what I see so far. One issue I have found. Selecting transparent background does not stick. The next time I launch the app the background is back to default.
And a suggestion, you might want to make adding additional apps once the first one has been added more intuitive. I had to try several different options before I found I needed to long press the existing shortcut to add new one.
Great work.
EDIT - I have an Inspire running CoreDroid 6.7.
Ah ... uh ... Heh, the transparency thing Yeah, I should fix that. I just never use that option, so I kinda left that to v1.0.0.1
As for the shortcut adding, what would you say would be a better way of doing that? Just adding a "help" menu explaining it, add a menu option to "add shortcut", allow right clicking the free space next to the icons ... any suggestions are welcome!

I was thinking long press anywhere in the open space (that's what I tried first) or "add shortcut" in the menu. You could do both if you want to cover all bases. I think long press should be adequate though. Maybe short press and icon to change it. I will keep testing and send anymore feedback your way.

I already use Apps Organizer, do I have any reason to potentially switch? Just wondering how this app is unique when apps like Apps Organizer and other app categorizers have been around since nearly Android's inception.. Pardon me if I am uninformed
Well, it's nice to have choices. Try them all and keep whichever you like best. So far I like this one just fine. Well done dev.

I was wondering this too. One I used since i my Hero was Folder Organiser. Does this add any new features?
My understanding is that something that this app offers and Apps Organizer doesn't is that you access your apps by launching the app itself rather than a shortcut or a widget.
The upside of that approach is that it should work with any launcher and any dock. Regina Launcher, for instance, only supports apps in its dock so that's a perfect solution for that.

Not only that but I've been using a app called "Auto App Organizer" for some months now that automatically categorizes (or manual upon installation) all your installed apps like Apps,Games,Fun,Internet,System,Multimedia etc etc. You can also set shortcut icons on home screen to the categories that open as folders when clicked on home. This is the best and most efficient way ive found of installing/organizing our app shortcuts.
@ OP
If you want some ideas you should really have a look at this app.
ths...i'm trying it now...lol
One thing I think would be kind of nice is being able to rearrange or sort apps in each group. Like if I wanted them alphabetical but I added an app that starts with the letter a after I had already made the group

And in addition to the problem mentioned above:
Could you add:
- a gesture to swap between categories
- an option to size categories (to get a bigger bracket even though you use an abbrevation like "dev")
- sorting personally or alphabetically
- various appearance options --> design =]
But try to keep it simple because categorization programmes like mentioned above are way too overloaded in my opinion.

[App] Everywhere Clipboard - ultimate clipboard solution

Everywhere Clipboard extends Android clipboard function and brings real desktop clipboard experience to you on mobile phone. Everywhere Clipboard is a Windows Office style clipboard panel which records copied items into a history stack. In addition to that, the clipboard panel can be opened anywhere in any application without the need to leave your current window or switch to different windows. Is there any way I can invoke this from Smart Taskbar? I'm a Pro user and like the idea but would prefer to have a way to pop up Smart Taskbar and quickly select Everywhere Clipboard so it overlays the original app (the one that was active when I activated STB). Does that make sense?
tks

another kiumiu style app. i'd like to have the pro version.
~
Great idea, didn't know it could be done
Makes getting to your clipboard very easy. I have never seen something done that way, honestly would not of though it was possible (floating the icon off to the side everywhere?!). As a dev I am trying to wrap my brain around how you accomplished that. That is pretty damn cool. If you have a blog I would love to read about it.
On a side note, the xda article Enjoy Copy and Paste The Way it was Meant to be... states this: "With this new app, you can copy text from any app in your device". You didn't really say that in the market description and I wasn't able to copy and paste from apps like Facebook or Twitter unless they already allow it. I think some people might think find what xda has said a little confusing. Then again I could be wrong about all of this and it's just not working on my device DroidX 2.3. Let me know.
Thanks!
I just bought thee app. I don't have much time to test right now.
Please add an option to disable the message in the notification area.
I've been using andclip as my clipboard manager.
I like Everywhere Clipboard better for the always available "trigger" popup...But andclip has an option to allow you to manually enter entries, whereas I don't see such an option with EC.
I could just open some text editor and type in entries and select->copy as a workaround, but if EC could be updated to include this feature native...I'd definitely make the switch from the other app and buy EC.
Thanks!
Some more feedback:
- Can you please make the settings accessible via the popup? Having to go to the apps list and find 'clipboard' everytime I need to make changes is annoying
- Have a 'Permanent' items tab (or maybe integrate into the 'notes' tab?) so I can freely clear out any "junk" in the 'clipboard' tab, but still have all my important items available without having to re-add them.
- Move the enable/disable message into 'Ongoing' notifications...This way it's not taking up space on the notification bar, but it's still available via notifications pulldown
Sorry if it seems I'm pestering, but I'm very much liking EC's popup clipboard and want to make the switch...Just needs a little tweaking and I'm there.
QR code please

I am not sure if i understand this clearly but I think EC has this feature also (manually delete clipboard entries) in current version. But you have to do that in EC's main window, not in the quick panel. So you have to switch to the main app window to do all kind of micro management jobs. I will also try my best to make quick panel able to do some item/file management features.
O!M!F!G! How could I live without this wonderful app?!
Thank you VERY much!

Hi,
There are many windowParams in Android. With propery param combination, you can make popup like the one in my app.
Very nice app! Just bought the Pro version.
Would it be possible to add an option to clear clipboard automatically after a certain time?
I am using KeePassDroid and it has option to clear copied data from clipboard after specified time, but it appears that this data would not clear itself from Everywhere Clipboard.
If it's not possible to integrate this functionality between apps, adding own clear timer to Everywhere Clipboard would be nice.
Thanks!
yes the 'anywhere' is misleading.
you cant copy text from anywhere, infact i cant find a place that will copy text any differently than the normal select/copy text.
so for me, this is kinda pointless at this moment because 99% of the time i need to copy text from someplace that doesnt normally allow text to be copied.
i mean any place with text that is not embedded, like an image.
V1.1 updated on July 20, 2011
Fixed:
(1) Incorrect popup location when trigger side is set to left
(2) Removed a trailing linefeed when copy from txt
(3) Fixed Pause button trigger area wider than displayed.
Sorry guys. I forgot to add the toast notification once again !
Will do it few days later
hi jerryfan I was not able to paste the copied text with this app i tried everything is it possible or not

Tagy is a new bundle of widgets that organize apps, contacts, bookmarks and settings into tag clouds on your home screen.
Tag cloud items will change color and size based on click frequency, allowing important items to stand out and unimportant items to fade. So your favorite items will be highlighted for faster access.
Tagy Settings and Tagy Google Services are Tagy widgets that present shortcuts to your system settings and links to Google mobile services and apps as tag clouds.
Use cases
Tag cloud user interface lets you to::
• Instantly access your content without scrolling or browsing folders;
• Obtain insights about usage patterns by locating infrequently used content such as unused apps or inactive contacts as well as favorite items; and
• Save space – one tag cloud can contain five times more items than a regular icon grid.
Features
Tagy is very friendly to your system:
• It consumes minimum system resources;
• It does not affect battery life;
• It needs only basic permissions; and
• It supports custom launchers and themes.
Tagy also supports portrait and landscape orientation.
Tagy widgets are free (main widgets pack is trial).

Some might, not me. I use NoWallpaper (black) with just the color text.
New version will not let me update apps. I have three app screens, and do not want to enable new apps on all, so they are all unchecked. Then after I install an app, I cannot go to the app widget where I want it and add it.
I've just looked at it and it should add new apps to the list, but they will be unchecked if you uncheck the Add new apps automatically mark. Note that installed app needs to have a launcher activity (be present in your apps list) to be added to the widget.
Awesome widget, thx

Old version has similar behavior. It's by design now, but we'll change it in the future. We thought that if you uncheck the Add apps automatically mark, then you don't want updates for that widget, but that's not how it goes for many users.

I do want to selectively add apps, but my choice, and not automagically (sic).
I've just looked at it and it turns out we've already implemented what I have described So you should see all your installed apps in the widgets apps list, either you turn the Autoadd option on or off. The only difference is when this option is off, the new app will be unchecked in the list. But note that installed app needs to have a launcher activity (be present in your apps list) to be added to the widget.
Can you specify what app does not show in the widgets apps selection? Or maybe you could try to install any ordinary app from the market and see whether it will show up.
using right now it's very goog credits to you.

It is/was GMail, flashed in recovery, GApps and an ICS alpha ROM. After some reboots it shows up, but then Play Store just updated itself and it is gone from Tagy and I cannot get it back.
It might be the alpha ROM doing it. I will try again when I restore my normal ROM and see.

Here's one;
Multi select in main window to
be able to batch uninstall.
I let my 3 year old g33k to play with my N9005 and as always he installed a few new apps via Google play. Using sorting by install date I can easily pinpoint them, but I still have to go through lot of clicking to uninstall them one by one.

I was thinking of adding a new grid view, in addition to the app list popup, to navigate apps by categories.
Something like Apps and Games groups folders at first level, drill into a group to show related categories (as folders with icon) then drill again into a category folder to show related apps.
A sort of traditional launcher view alternative to the main Jina list popup view, just in case you prefere to navigate your phone instead of direct search for an app.
One more Idea...
I just realized, how U can make current T9 even better.
Please rearrange the letters so they will conform to classic T9 layout. Sorry for not noticing before.

As far as I'm concerned , speed is of highest priority. One click for Jina Launch, then two or three clicks in T9 keyboard and final click for launch. That is for launching.
For browsing, I use View filter by 'last installed' or 'last updated' to check/overview the latest installs/updates.
Secondly I also might occasionally use the app to find older apps that I am not using via use counter or install date.
Categories sorting is currently for me more than not just an extra layer between me and my apps, and I just prefer finding them via T9.
But I can also see the use for it for finding those rarely used apps, for which I don't remember the names anymore...that is the one scenario where I will definitely use categories approach. And I definitely support the idea of folders like You describe!
+If possible add the functionality to add/copy the whole folders from Jina directly to home screen
++and when those folders update in Jina, to auto update them on desktop, that would be a killer option IMHO D
( U see, I have one folder on my desktop for all the games, and when new are installed, It would be really cool, If I could put all the shortcuts for new ones in the desktop folder with one or two clicks only.)
---------- Post added at 03:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:54 PM ----------
About View sorting functionality;
I vote for faster 'one button' approach.
And every click on the button would change the current view for next in line.
Something to consider when optimizing design in the future..
Do you mean the the visual layout only or you think that i should intercept a "whitespace" when the user press the key 1?
I ask because right now the T9 search in Jina skips whitespaces, for example if you type S and O you will match both "Apps Organizer" and "Sonar".
If i add the first key and i treat as a "whitespace", to match the Apps Organizer you should press 3 keys: S, Whitespace and O

No white space, just the letter positions in T9...because that position is already programmed in our subcontinent from the past

Sure, I just sent you the answer in a PM. Thank you for your interest in my App
Cool app so far, but how do you access the menu to delete and open files? Since the app doesn't have an overflow menu, I'm thinking it requires a device with a dedicated menu button. If that's the case, you should be aware that almost all devices made in the past 2 years do not have dedicated menu buttons, so the majority of users cannot access all of the features of your app.
Nice
Nice app! I like how it builds the blocks as it scans.

Lollipop adds a dynamic menu button if it detects the app has one (see attachment). Alternatively, if you're on Jelly Bean or Kit Kat & have a compatible device / ROM, GravityBox has the option to add a menu button to the nav bar. @NexradSoftware: I suggest changing the long press option to activate the context menu.
Nice! But if you ask me the borders from folder with other apps included in subfolders are not visible enough.
the .thumbnails folder here totally includes Xperia and 100Andro, doesn't it ?
Enable download in play store for Italy.
Thanks

So far on all the tests I did on different Android devices (and emulator tests) there were always a way to access the menu button even if it is as you mentioned not present by default on recent devices. However maybe it's good idea to add another way to access it just in case (a button in the top bar or through a long press as yochananmarqos proposed in a later post).
Thank you for raising this point

It looks like a quite annoying bug I never had/catched in my tests... I will try to test it again on your device model (Samsung Galaxy S3 right?). Is it happening each time you run it (100%) ?
