[Q] ICS keyboard - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

I am trying to find the ICS keyboard that has the spell checker built in.
like the one in this picture developer.android.com/sdk/images/4.0/text-replace-lg.png
Anyone know where or how to get it?
I am currently running SKYICS and it does not have it.
Thanks,

Looking for swype keyboard from TMOUS Rom

I am looking for Swype keyboard from TMOUS rom because currently i have a custom run onmy TMOUS HD2 but will like to have Swype keyboard
let me know if anyone can find or extract the keyboard for me
bump bump bump....
Gosh...why?! It is horrible!
Avoid it.
It may look nicer, but after using it for 3 days I switched back to the older version.
The new one is absolutely horrible in recognition, and the sensitivity is just so off...

2 Questions

Hi. I am asking these questions for my dad. First, he seems to be having the "Sleep of Death" issue. He is running rooted stock EE19 Leak. Any suggestions to fix that? There is no custom kernel/overclock/set cpu profiles set.
Also, if I were to flash CM7 to his phone, is there a way to get the Samsung soft keyboard on it? he likes that one a TON more than the Stock android one.
As for the SOD issue. If its straight stockd then really the only thing you can do is either reflash it back to EE19 or try a custom kernel.
As for the keyboard. I don't think that would work but you could find one on the market that is similiar. The stock gingerbreak keyboard is pretty nice and there's one on the market for a dollar that allows you to change the skin and key size and all that good stuff. I've used it for a while and love it. Hope that helps. Also if you flash CM7. That may very well fix the SOD issues as I've been running it for a decent while now and haven't had that happen yet.

[Q] Infuse Dock and CM7

I've been searching the forums to see if I can find any info on this, but so far I haven't seen anything. I apologize if this has already been asked. I really love the CM7 Rom on the Infuse, and I really want to stick with it, but I've noticed that it won't detect the Infuse desktop dock, therefore it won't launch any sort of dock app I have installed. It works just fine in the Infuse car dock. I was wondering if anyone has found a way to include the Infuse dock detection in the CM7 Kernel, or even modify the desktop dock so that it will work with whatever method of dock detection CM7 uses. I can't even use a custom kernel with a stock AT&T Rom, because that won't detect the dock either. Is there something wrong with my phone, or am I just missing something?
you arent alone, I have the same issue

[Q] Question on KB with Infused v1.6.0

Hi
I just recently moved over to a Samsung Infuse from many years using a BB. The XDA forums have been a great source for information on my Infuse. So far I've rooted, done 3e recovery, and used rom manager to install CWM.
Took the plunge yesterday and used rom manager to install the Infused v1.6.0 and I must say that the change in the phone is dramatic to say the least. Very happy with the result.
The only thing that I'm not liking so far is the keyboard used with this rom. Does anyone know if there's a way to get the stock KB's back?
Any help is appreciated.
TIA
You've got a lot of options for keyboards.
Its been a while since I've been on infused but see if there is another KB option in settings/language and input.
You can also download a gingerbread or ice cream sand which keyboard from the market (they look the best IMO and both free) along with a slew of other keyboards you can find on the market.
You can also look through the themes and apps section here and find the ice cream sand which keyboard apk.

Thanks for the quick reply. Duh.. I feel like a total noob for not thinking of the market for a different KB. That's the years of BB usage showing through. Never had to worry about that stuff with the BB.
Just DL'd both the Gingerbread and ICS KB's and now deciding which one to use.
Once again, thanks

No problem! The ICS keyboard is what I use at the moment, receives updates pretty regularly.
go keboard is another good one. Very customizable all the way down to how big your keys are. (sounds, themes, etc...)

[Q] [XOOM 2] Anyone running Google Now?

I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question and admit up front that I'm a noob. I've got the XYBoard 8.2 running the OTA version of ICS. It's rooted, but other than that pretty much untouched. Do I have any options that will allow me to run Google Now, or am I stuck waiting/hoping or a Jellybean rom to be released?
I believe there was a way to port it to ICS, however it doesn't have voice search or voice commands...
I think there actually is a way to get it onto ICS and have voice search, however it is an old version and is stuck to an american accent.
EDIT: I have found a better thread than the previously posted one. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1747224
Other than the accent and the inability to update, it's pretty good.

The answer may be a custom rom
I was thinking about his last night and I think the answer may be that simply running stock ICS, rooted is not going to be enough. I will need to use a custom rom. I'll do some pecking around and try to find one. This may cause an avalanche, but if you've got any recommendations, feel free to pass them along. Lastly, I just want to confirm I'm not crazy and that there is no Jellybean rom yet available for the XYBoard 8.2. If there is, I TRULY apologize in advance.
