I have unlocked my bootloader through HTCDev and the top says unlocked. I was on the other One X forum and flashed the CWM recovery and my phone just booted up with tampered on the top. And everytime i reboot or power my phone it powers itsself back up to the htc logo with the writing "This build is only for developers" and sometimes it just boots up to the bootloader. On May 11 i went to the HTC ONE X problem discussion and found my way over to AT&T / Rogers HTC One X and successfully flashed the CWM which it works. I still have the problem where everytime i boot up or power down my phone it automatically boots up and bring me to the HTC LOGO with the writings under or boots up to the bootloader.
I have tried factory reset and wipe system but nothing seems to work.
If any could help me please post a reply to email [email protected]
Thank you.

After canceling a flash of Sick Sense, my One x wont boot now. I would boot into bootloader and hit recovery and twrp splashscreen shows for a split second, then reboots to htc splashscreen, staying like that forever. What should I do? Fastboot install another recovery?

Looks like you are unlocked ... so try to boot into "bootloader" and reflash recovery ...
If nothing helps ... relock bootloader and flash RUU ...
Boot into the bootloader
Flash TWRP again (must be TWRP as CWM does not have USB mount yet)
Boot into TWRP
Mount USB
Transfer your ROM of choice onto your phone
Unmount USB
Do a factory reset from TWRP
Flash the .zip
Reboot and hope for the best
If that doesn't work then you could just run the RUU from fastboot.
Yea I was out and about with no internet just my phone me and my laptop lol. What I ended up having to do was relock and ruu back to 1.85. Thanks for the help guys. Now I hope I can still reunlock lol

What happened earlier was that, even though I was able to get and boot into cwm, the sd card got unmounted somehow so I couldn't flash or restore anything.

AT&T HOX Stuck in Boot Loop after trying to flash a rom using Flash Image GUI
First of all thank you to everyone who is willing to help me out. I apologize if I missed the answer I'm looking for. Here is what's going on:
I successfully rooted my HTC One X (At&T) using TWRP a couple days ago. I created two backups in TWRP, one before rooting and one after. I then tried to install viperx 3.3.1 using Flash Image GUI from the playtstore and after the install finished I am not stuck in a boot loop on the screen that says "HTC quietly brilliant" and has the disclaimer written in red. I turned my phone off and rebooted holding the power button and volume down button and tried to do a restore of one my backups in TWRP. However I am still stuck in a boot loop. I tried restoring to the other backup also and still in a boot loop. I tried wiping the cache, Dalvik Cache, and System and then rebooting but same thing. I would appreciate any help at all. Thank you an advance for your time.
You have to flash the boot img of your backups...but just flash viper and flash the boot img
Whoa whoa whoa whoa... we don't have viper 3.3... he just released 3.2 today... sooooo it looks like you tried to flash the international version of viper

MOD -- please delete this thread, mysteriously i switched off the phone, and restarted it, and it started properly , i am extremely sorry creating this thread
I know it may be crazy, but a similar situation happened to me too.
My HTC One S (S4) had just been unlocked, CWM installed, and installed Venom. I went to use Boot_Flash_Script and then into recovery to Clear Cache. After that point my phone wouldn't boot. It would flash quickly, then have a black screen for 10-15 seconds with the orange LED glow then straight into recovery. Any option to wipe and reinstall the rom didn't work.
Solution: An Aha! Moment... I had forced a shutoff by holding vol up + vol down + top power for 10 seconds. UNPLUG the USB cable! Then after turning it on again with no buttons pushed, it went into Venom.
Whew... Posting an explanation in case anyone else cannot get into hboot / bootloader and thought to have bricked their htc one s. I thought it was bricked until I unplugged the cable and fully shut it off.
Hi. I have tried to flash the cm10 nightly build and the gapps. It didn't go as planned. Instead it wouldn't boot past the cm10 boot screen. It was like this for at least 2 hours. That's when o decided to go back to my old backup of the sense stock ATT ROM. When I restored it said it went cleanly but when I booted back up the device it, has been stuck at the ''HTC quietly brilliant'' boot screen. HELP ME PLEASE

If you're on 2.20, did you flash the boot.img in fastboot?
Probably loaded the wrong gapps for cm or forgot to flash kernel boot IMG.
Sent from my One X using xda premium
Nope. I flashed the boot.IMG. I want to know how I can get back to the stock ATT rom

You flashed the stock boot.img when rolling back?
No. I don't have it. Could you provide it?
Sent from my Nexus 7
That's your problem.
I don't have it, but you should be able to extract it from the correct stock rom in the development section.
I'll look for it.

HTC One X stuck at "htc quietly brilliant"
Hello all, i bought a new HTC One X, unlocked it and tried to root it. When i executed the RootBoot v5, everything went fine and it said "successful" and "when you see the lock screen, press enter" the phone rebooted but was stuck at the logo screen "htc quietly brilliant" and nothing happened for a very long time. Everytime i tried to reboot it, it got stuck there. Tried to perform a "factory reset" in the bootloader but it is also not working, stuck at logo screen. Can anyone help please? my phone does not belong to any service provider, completely free.. Thanks in advance

if you have done a factory reset in the bootloader, then you probably have a corrupted sdcard. you may be able to format the sdcard from your pc, otherwise have a look at this --> sdcard fix .

RootBoot is a tool for the One X+.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1955542&page=19
If you have one of those, you're in the wrong forum. If you do have an evita One X, you need to stick with tools from this forum. Odds are you screwed something up and probably need to relock and ruu to fix it.

thanks for your reply guys, i appreciate it a lot. i mounted the sd card, i performed "fastboot flash boot boot_signed.img" then "fastboot flash system system.img" the cmd prompt returned "sending 'system' (985869 KB)... FAILED (remote: Heap not enough) finished. total time: 0.299s". how can that be fixed. my bootloader is unlocked. thanks in advance..
Hey everyone. I just did the S-Off and everything went fine except for the boot loop issue using a 4.1.x based rom in which I had CM10 installed. I installed CM10.1 (4.2.2) and booted up fine. I then tried to install the KingKang rom and it started bootlooping again. So per the usual I held down power and vol down to get to the bootloader to get back to TWRP and now it wouldnt turn on. I went to plug it in and then it went to the HTC white logo with red warning and shut off immediately. Couldnt get the charge light or anything and still no normal boot, bootloader, or download mode. Any ideas?

Bootloader Unlocked and S-Off
Resolved. Throwing the phone at the wall must've jarred the battery and was able to get to recovery via bootloader. Weird...

As for the HTC logo bootloop after s-off, has anyone had this problem as well and/or found a fix?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
first custom rom i installed after s-off was ICJ and it gave me alot of hell even got qhsusb_dload once i wiped and flash cm10.1 and that has been fine. not sure if s-off had anything to do with it since i never flashed ICJ beforehand.
Yeah I think I'm done with flashing roms etc. until all the problems are worked out. All I can get to work without looping is CM10.1 and CleanRom 5.1.
im owned hahaha i have s-off and i can get into fastboot but not into recovery, tried to flash twrp but still wont boot into recovery, and i cant boot normally, starts booting and i hear the booting sound but it just gets stuck at the htc quietly brillant white screen, after a while just reboots and gets stuck again.

you did flash the evita recovery right? i would flash this one openrecovery-twrp-2.3.3.1-evita.img
yes, i actually try to install diferent versions including that one :/
I followed all the steps n read many threads to rooting HOX +, i unlocked the bootloader, flashed CWM Custom recovery, everything looked fine on the Windows Command window, after flashing, the phone is still on (isnt it supposed to restart?) and nothing changes, i reboot the bootloader, go to recovery, the phone just opens the HTC logo window n then turns off.
note: the phone is supposed to change to Endeavoru, but it still says ENRCU2...etc.
Please help.
