[Q] [Rooting] [HTC One X +] CWM installation and execution of recovery problem - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I followed all the steps n read many threads to rooting HOX +, i unlocked the bootloader, flashed CWM Custom recovery, everything looked fine on the Windows Command window, after flashing, the phone is still on (isnt it supposed to restart?) and nothing changes, i reboot the bootloader, go to recovery, the phone just opens the HTC logo window n then turns off.
note: the phone is supposed to change to Endeavoru, but it still says ENRCU2...etc.
Please help.

[Q] HTC One X booting problems

I have unlocked my bootloader through HTCDev and the top says unlocked. I was on the other One X forum and flashed the CWM recovery and my phone just booted up with tampered on the top. And everytime i reboot or power my phone it powers itsself back up to the htc logo with the writing "This build is only for developers" and sometimes it just boots up to the bootloader. On May 11 i went to the HTC ONE X problem discussion and found my way over to AT&T / Rogers HTC One X and successfully flashed the CWM which it works. I still have the problem where everytime i boot up or power down my phone it automatically boots up and bring me to the HTC LOGO with the writings under or boots up to the bootloader.
I have tried factory reset and wipe system but nothing seems to work.
If any could help me please post a reply to email [email protected]
Thank you.

MOD -- please delete this thread, mysteriously i switched off the phone, and restarted it, and it started properly , i am extremely sorry creating this thread
I know it may be crazy, but a similar situation happened to me too.
My HTC One S (S4) had just been unlocked, CWM installed, and installed Venom. I went to use Boot_Flash_Script and then into recovery to Clear Cache. After that point my phone wouldn't boot. It would flash quickly, then have a black screen for 10-15 seconds with the orange LED glow then straight into recovery. Any option to wipe and reinstall the rom didn't work.
Solution: An Aha! Moment... I had forced a shutoff by holding vol up + vol down + top power for 10 seconds. UNPLUG the USB cable! Then after turning it on again with no buttons pushed, it went into Venom.
Whew... Posting an explanation in case anyone else cannot get into hboot / bootloader and thought to have bricked their htc one s. I thought it was bricked until I unplugged the cable and fully shut it off.

[Q] Tried to Root HTC ONE X stuck at 'This build is for development purposes only'

* Apologies; Had posted this query accidentally in the One S thread section.. sorry for that.
Repost..
Disclaimer: I am a noob! Wont understand jargon.
I tried rooting my HTC device and went through all the instructions as given by an youtube video. 'HTC One X - Root (in-depth)' by 'itvraag'
I guess the recovery mode used there and the one i tried was CWRM recovery.
(I understand no links allowed till 10 posts but this might be an emergency! )
I am stuck at the Recovery section and am unable to get beyond the Recovery mode (screen).
I tried to do both i.e. the Fastboot to flash a custom recovery and again into the recovery mode. I get the same HTC screen and am unable to go further
The video says the next step is installing from the .zip file which I have downloaded onto my sd card.
I have got a bootloader screen which says 'Tampered' at the top. So, I guess, its not yet rooted?
I would appreciate solutions.
Thank you!
p.s. The phone restarts in the normal At&T mode when done so and hence, its working as in stock.
I would be interested in rooting the phone.
Do you have an att one x or an international one?
Oh I see you said att. YOU ALMOST BRICKED YOUR PHONE. YOUTUBE VIDEOS ARE NOT HELPFUL.
cwm can and will brick your phone on this device. You need twrp recovery.
Sent from my VENOMized HoxL
Find twrp in our dev section Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img yes yes than boot into recovery I hope youhave a Rom for our device
If you can't understand the 'jargon' you have no business tinkering with this phone.

[Q] com.android.phone on CM 10.1 HTC One X

As a newbie I wanted to try out the greatest roms developed by the developers associated with this forum. I went ahead and used Hasoon2000s to root my HTC One X (international), I was successful, later I flashed successfully the rom InserCoin, which got me bored in few days, then I went ahead and tried the CM 10.1, I used the instruction manual provided online, which seemed to me as the easiest of all, everything went very well but I forgot to flash kernel (boot.img) not I have fully functional CM 10.1 installed but it gives the following error:
"Unfortunately, the process com.andrid.phone has stopped" OK button comes and when I click it immediately shows the same message again and again.
Now I am stuck with this, I am still not able to reboot my cell phone directly (by holding volume down and power button) neither had any success with Hasoon2000s tool which previously worked like a charm.
Now any fellow can help me out in this regards, I have seen this question already been raised but to most extend no answers are give.

I had the same problem about a week ago, and I solved it.
Did you/Are you sure you flashed the right boot image? That's extremely neccisary. Open up the CM10.1 folder and flash boot.img ('fastboot flash boot boot.img' in fastboot) and erase all of your cache and data and reboot.
Let me know if this worked or not!

I had the same problem, it was because i was flashing wrong. Because of The bootloader you have to flash from fastboot. You have probably flashed a zip from recovery?
You have tot place The boot.img in your fastboot folder, flash it to your device andere after that flash from recovery.
You can find your boot.img in the zipfile on your phone. Remember all your wiping andere stuff. The fastboot command is:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
At least that was the issue with me.

[Q] Boot looping

Please treat me as a total noob, my problem is this i installed the stock RUU Vodafone rom on my HTC One and everything went fine until i had a couple of phone updates ota first 2 installed and phone rebooted no problem on the 3rd system update the phone rebooted but this time on a boot loop where it would get as far as the HTC splash screen the continually reboot itself.
I have gone into recovery – hold power and Vol Down to go into recovery but when i do press the power button to go into recovery it just goes back to the boot loop i did have Clockworkmod installed on the phone but this seems to have stopped working.
I have tried to use fastboot and ADB but because my phone is looping it will not say on long enough to connect to the PC and run a command to wipe the cache.
My question mainly is there anything i can do to save my phone or should i just bin it.
Thanks
