Hi,
I want to know how can I do to convert my SKU DE 8.2.3.13 to WW 8.6.5.21.
Thanks
I thought you could do sku conversion with nvflash? You have to have a low enough serial number.
I have a theory that you can change it via the staging partition, but I'm too busy to try.

I thought WW meant 'world-wide' and was basically compatible with anything, though it doesn't have specific regional support, for example any keyboard besides qwerty?
I was a US epad and used the WW without issue..just flashed it via recovery (stock recovery, in fact).

My serial is B50xx and I don't have any keyboard.
How can I do to flash via recovery the WW version and which file I have to put in SD card?
Thanks
the update from asus is not usable for direckt sku conversation.
but you can use this tut
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1093403
with the firmware file from asus.
on this way i have a ww change to de on a B90xxxxx.
but it is a little risky.
I thought you could;
Get stock recovery image branded to your region, use CWM to flash your stock recovery image, reboot recovery, then with the same region-branded ROM (asus update) you can let stock recovery flash your ROM back to stock and regional branding of your choice?
I have done this several times.....
(Honestly I think you guys are just trying to give them a hard time lol ADB to root? ADB to flash ROMs..? LOL I've done everything on my TF without access to a computer even..never used ADB with the TF, not once)
But please...defer to these guys' judgment, they seem more confident than I am of it..I learn by trial and error

As my tablet is virgin DE and I want WW, you say me this, step by step:
1) Get stock recovery image branded to your region. You are referring to the WW stock. Ok?
2) Use CWM to flash your stock recovery image. For this, first I need to root and then install CWM recovery to flash the WW stock recovery. OK? Boot loop if I restart the pad.
3) Then with the same region-branded ROM (asus update) you can let stock recovery flash your ROM back to stock and regional branding of your choice. How can I do this if my pad dont boot?
Regards

I'm not an expert at this, but this is what I would try-
1) grab WW firmware and extract all the parts from it
2) create WW CWM by combining WW kernel (from step 1) with CWM ramdisk
3) create flashable WW rom (system, boot.img). root it and make it insecure if it suits you.
4) repackage EBT to blob (from step 1)
5) this is where it gets tricky to avoid the bootloops- go to recovery and flash 2,3,and 4 (4 via staging partition/adb in recovery). I'm not sure if you can flash them all at once or if you have to do 2, reboot to recovery, then 3 and 4.
Lastly, this is just a theory and if you don't have access to nvflash, it will probably result in a bricked tablet. Even with access to nvflash, there is still a huge chance of bootloops and soft-bricks. I purposely left out all the details to encourage you to fill them out on your own, but feel free to ask help if you get stuck somewhere.

Can I do this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14574969&postcount=145 but using WW instead of US ?
Then I update the tablet normally.
Regards
That might work. The updates from the ASUS website should have the full rom plus bootloader. You will be bone stock after doing that and might not be able to root, although I lost track of the root methods lately.

Once you are in the bootloop, then you boot into recovery (android stock recovery) and let the file load from your sd card by naming it appropriately (WW_epad-user-blah blah blah.zip) by holding vol-while pressing power, when tablet comes on press vol+ within 5 seconds to enter recovery..then just wait, it should install your rom and get you out of the bootloop, which is caused because stockrom cannot be located at this point, flashing a new rom will solve the problem
after all you nedd, to make a factory reset ( wipe). and reboot.
I had rooted the transformer tf101 using nachoroot so how do i unroot it
You have CWM recovery installed?
What's your TF serial #? ect.....
What for do you want to unroot it? Unless you mean moving back to stock recovery.

You are on stock recovery if you get the !
You probably mistakenly flash the stock recovery before you flash the repacked ROM.
Easiest thing to do now is install CWM recovery again.
Download a stock firmware from Asus website and flash it with CWM recovery.
That will put you at stock firmware, unrooted and stock recovery.

What CWM version are you using? If its the lastest from Roach, it only flashes from the internal memory, not from sd card.

i'm using rogue xm recovery 1.3.0 ( cwm-based recovery v5.0.2.7 )
I've made somehow to install android 4.0.3 )
Thanks guys for answers:d
I somehow have locked myself out but still have access to CWM and FASTBOOT. So, how do I use FASTBOOT to install a rom? Is it even possible? I just flashed CWM again, but still cannot get my CWM Backup copy to work.
up.
My friend has same issue, change build.prop.. no backup, no adb, only fastboot with cwm. Any ideas? Ext SD don't work in CWM\TWRP.
upd: Answer myself - Plug into usb in recovery, update driver in device manager to ADB Device, use adb

No, just the regular zip, you could also try reflashing the recovery (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img).

The command you can used to flash a zipped ROM like the stock one from Asus is...
Fastboot -i 0x0b05 flash system yourrom.zip
I usually flash these using twrp recovery but I think that will do it.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
Maybe I just can't follow instructions or anythng, but I attempted my first ROM flash and it didn't work.
I tried the Blackbean 5 ROM, with TWRP. I found a set of instructions saying how to flash with TWRP, so I followed them, and I think I've soft-bricked my TF300T. Just stays on the Asus logo, and in top left it says "The Device is UnLocked."
I DID make a recovery in TWRP, and I attempted to flash that back with no luck.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong, so can someone help me out here?

I tried this with the stock ROM, from their website, and it didn't help...
So I'm not sure what my problem is now.
Then again, when it comes to ROMs, I'm a noob.
EDIT: I still have TWRP, my recovery, and the Blackbean ROM .zip on the device.

Background first when stock were you JB or ICS? Blackbean OP does not specify. At the moment I'm to lazy to read through thread or flash to find the answer. If you were on stock JB you can only use JB roms, if you were on ICS you can only use JB after stock upgrade to JB.
Forget Blackbean for now and let's concentrate on getting you fully functional on stock again. If you were on ICS then download stock 9.4.3.30 and unzip once that leaves you with a zip. Place that zip on your ( /sdcard ) or external sdcard ( /Removable/MicroSD ) and flash with Twrp. If you were JB then the instructions are the same except use stock 10.4.2.13.
If you do this you will loose your recovery ( Twrp ) but you should have a functional unit.
Non stock rom install.
Be sure you use proper rom for your bootloader ( ICS or JB ). Choose one that gives you instructions as to what to wipe, etc. You can adlib after you get your feet wet. If the op gives instructions use them if not then you may or may not have a happy ending with generic instructions.:good:
If you need anything explained let me know and I'll step by step for what you don't understand.
The reply you tried to follow said "I think", you should have investigated before following. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that was incorrect but the poster was in doubt and you should be also.
When we say "I think" we kind of assume you are going to do some reading and be comfortable with everything before you continue.
I took a little time to look over Blackbean and as I suspected it is for the ICS bootloader not JB.
same problem
I am having the exact same problem. I did manage to install the clean rom 2.5 custom rom successfully originally, and i made a backup through CWM, but I cant install any other rom on there for some reason. Yesterday I managed to go back to stock Asus jellybean rom successfully, and then had to root it and install CWM again successfully. I have again tried again today to install that EuroSkank rom, but alas, I get stuck at the ASUS boot logo permanently and nothing happens?
What might I be doing wrong??
I am on Jellybean. Thankfully the CWM is working fine and I could also restore my cleanrom2.5 backup.

( EuroSkank ) is also an ICS rom not JB - Clean rom 2.5 is JB. For now unless you have NVFlash you can't go back to ICS from JB and you can't run ICS rom with JB bootloader. (I'm using ICS and JB here to declare the bootloader )
Ok, Thank you very much.

any1 with Partition not found problem, open zip and look at the folders, delete everything except folder you want (which is propably system) then write
fastboot flash system yourzip.zip
if this doesn't work for you then extract files from the folder and repack only files from the system folder and use the command above.
It doesn't work for me (dunno why) but it's something
Guys i try to flash the official firmware of Asus's 4.2.1 from my sdcard using cwm, but cwm gives an error (error 7). I searched up and found out (from Max, high on andoid) that cwm checks for "asserts" and thinks that the firmware i downloaded is not compatible with my tab. Max said that TWRP doesn't check for anything and just flashes whatever i ask him to do, in brief i need to replace CWM with Twrp but don't know how, help me out please. I've been serching for 4 hours and im way too exhausted.
P.S. - I'm not wrong, CWM is wrong that it's not compatible, i got the firmware from Asus's website.

Did you extract the first zip?
Asus puts their firmware inside another zip, so you have a zip inside a zip.
You need the zip that is inside it, if that makes sense.
I did, I tried to flash the "inner" zip file, no way, I checked everyway, I did wipe dalvik cache and tried to flash that way, didn't work neither, I just need to get rid of cwm and start using twrp
