I have written up a short review, and my thoughts on the HTC One series. I know there are many who are looking forward to these devices and some who are already enjoying them. I am also trying to promote my blog and would hope to get some more participation there.
Thank you for you consideration.
http://goo.gl/IDlqN - One series review
Nice review, some grammatical errors to watch out for though, but nonetheless, great effort

It could be more in-depth. GPS tests, audio quality tests are ones I look for in reviews as those are very important to me. I'm assuming that HTC's reputation for having the one of the best GPS units is still consistent with HTC One?
I am hoping the one series makes its way to verizon soon
Thanks for the feed back! Yes, grammar is a rival of mine. I only tested the device im the T-Mobile store so I was unable to give it a full review. I did go back and test the camera and it is definitely to notch, again in the store so not much to test with.
I believe the incredible 4g lte is supposed to be a variant on One series, there is also a rumor of a quad core HTC Verizon phone...

Hi everyone I could not find this information anywhere on the web or here on XDA so I've created a new post.
Once this information is received it will help a lot of people who are planning to buy a mugen battery but are confused were to buy it from as there are three mugen battery websites that appear on Google when searched.
I am in based in uk so there is not any shops here that sell the mugen battery where I could just pop in buy it. And I prefer to buy from original seller instead of third party so I know its original and genuine.
I need to to know which website is the genuine seller as one is based in Hongkong the other in Amsterdam and the other Aurora. I am not allowed to post links as I am a new user so please post the original website link Thanks in advance.

mugen are chinese so the hong kong one is the one you want lol here is mugen's official website, i have bought 3 batterys off them now for 3 diffrent devices, one of the batterys was faulty and it took only one email to get a replacement so customer services is great

Lets see now ....
You posted a question at 6:21 pm on 15th August.
Your question was answered, accurately, at 10:10 pm the same day
Might it occur to you that anyone else reading this thread would see that your question had been answered, accurately, and not feel the need to waste any more time on it ??
Your thank you post was at 8:14 today - over a week later
Your complaint was at 8:28 today ...
Your total of 3 posts to date are summed up in the above few lines ...
Don't you think you ought to spend some time getting to know the forum before you start complaining about it not achieving some criterion you feel is appropriate ?
I've been coming here on and off since I got my Wizard, many years back, and I've been helped tremendously by people I will never know or have the chance to meet ... and all because they WANT TO ... If you want people to help you out, might I recommend a lite attitude realignment ... patience and respect wouldn't go amiss.
Well mate I've been using this forum for many years just never needed to register.
You need to fix up dude and take a chill pill. Your the one one the attitude disorder.
Are you really telling me you would go along with just one confirmation? I don't think any WISE person would just believe and trust just the ONE confirmation thats what I was doing being patient and wise mate.
What would the harm have been if people would just have confirmed to help out. But no we get people like you with attitude disorders taking there miserable lifes frustration out here.

no, you're the moron by your writing style. a good reply would be 'anyone else?' rather than your attack on other people's 'disgraceful' behaviour.

Nobody owes you anything here. Some of us here are not too sure, some of us might not be confident of giving an accurate reply, and thus you get no reply, or it takes time to get some. This particular forum does not get much traffic, so quit your whining.

Your writings errors don't really strengthen your point to say the least. You got a comment (for free) within several hours that gave you the link (which you could've found on google if you did any research yourself) to the OFFICIAL SITE. What do you want? 100 replies confirming that it's actually the official site?
I got exactly the same in a PM too ... Must need to make a point I guess
I did research on Google but the information could not be found.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
i guess a WISE person would have been able to find that.
The 1600 mah battery on the Mugen site; that will work in the Desire without need for a new backing, right?
not sure if i can post this here or at all?
Anyways i have a Xperia play love the phone but am not so much a gamer, phones in topnotch condition silver buttons on front have rubbed off a little but that's the only thing wrong with it no scratches on screen at all, i have a dock aswell
looking for a straight swap>?
i live in northwest England.
let me know if you wont more info?
cheers.
Sell it on eBay and buy a Sensation with the money - I did pretty much the exact same thing. I doubt you'll get anyone willing to do a straight swap since the Sensation is a much more powerful phone.
I sold my Play for £155 and got the Sensation for £160. You just need to keep an eye on a few auctions and you'll find one going cheap.
If you really want to swap you should try Gumtree.
i should but eBay is such a hassle and they charge ha ha, ill look in to it thanks mate
Don't think anyone would do it. Sensation is more expensive.
Btw, should be posted in the marketplace
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1321
i'm a reasonable person i can negotiate lol
Yea nobody will swap as has been said, gumtree is the best bet for avoiding ebay charges or a marketplace like on here
I paid 599. For my sensation in the US , California. No way would I swap! Sorry friend but ebay is likely the best place to sell. Then you can buy a sensation. Btw. You will LOVE the sensation! Very powerful phone, so many options! Great to customize! Lots of fun! Good choice, but trade, NO WAY!

Sent from my PG86100 using xda premium
I haven't seen any specifically for the one x, but I know there are genetic juice banks that you can use to charge the battery on the go. Best buy offers a couple options for these a far as charge capacity. Price is around fifty I believe
They will sell it soon, perhaps som weeks

I think HTC are beginning to get worried about the negative press over the One series.
Had a call from HTC customer service today in response to a survey I filled in recently.
Basically I slated them and their response to my support call.
I asked them a specific question about their new Bluetooth audio dongle and they gave me some crap generic response about how not all phones have the same Bluetooth functionality (my request had nothing to do with phones merely the specification of the dongle).
Anyway I didn't pick up because the number was 'unknown' but they left a very detailed message and seemed very keen to get a resolution (apparently ;-)).
What do you reckon? Call back and hurl abuse???

I reckon this thread serves no purpose.
Your wondering whether to call back and give 'more abuse' , when they have phoned you directly to try to solve your issue.

What do you guys do for a living? No company intentionally does things that aren't in the best interest of their customers. Big multi-billion dollar (pound, euro) companies can't turn on a dime. At least in the U.S., my experience with HTC so far has been light years better than Samsung. The fact that HTC sent you a survey (which they pay for) means they do care about what their customers think. And I guarantee you whatever their response is it in no way has anything to do with the *****ing taking place on XDA.

Are you 12? First you complain that your issues weren’t properly addressed. Then, it appears HTC's trying to further assist you. And the first thing that came to your mind is "hurl abuse?"
You guys really need to get lives as making a piece of electronic kit the focal point of your existence is just plain scary.

Do I learn something from this thread? Nope.

i smell trolls
threadstarter si trying to get the attention of HTC for what? the fact that they made the effort to call you back with regards to your survey means that they have good customer service. and you wanted to "hurl abuse?" imo HTC doesnt need customers like you.
If you got time, I'd call back and actually tell them what you didn't like and how they should've handled it.
The fact is that companies like HTC pay these survey companies to study these things, collect customer feedback so that later on HTC can process it and work on improving their image/products.
How efficient that is - that's another debate. But I really think you need to use this opportunity to make your voice heard.
At the very least, you'll feel vented =)
Pointless thread you lot. No need to post anymore let it die down. Next:banghead:

Hi Everyone,
It's been a while since I've been on XDA so for give me if this is in the wrong place. As It covers both devices and is not related to development activities as such I thought this would be the correct location.
Anyway I have had my eye on the TF700 for quite a while then the nexus 7 was released though I am still leaning in the direction of the TF700 but I want to get other peoples opinions on the matter, especially from anyone who has had a chance to use both. So please if anyone has experiance with two device I would really like to hear your comments, and or suggestions.
Also does anyone in the UK now what shops are demoing these devices, i will be checking out my local carphone warehouse this weekend to see if they have the nexus 7 as I don't think anywhere has the TF700 in the UK yet.
Anyone got insider info on what shops maybe stocking the TF700?
Thanks for your time and will see you on the forums.
Cheers
Hey there, I think you may want to put this in Q and A but I think a mod will be about to do it anyway. And there are many threads dedicated to x or y type question.
Welcome back to XDA if you haven't had a welcome back yet.
Anyway, I would say get the nexus 7. Support and updates for that would be through the roof. It is also great value for money.
Sorry If that isn't what you wanted. Hope you enjoy your purchase anyway.
Please use the **Device Suggestions Thread**

Thanks will ask the question in the thread mentioned above; If a Mod wants to kill this one that be fine by me.
Get the nexus 7
nexus 7!!! obviously
Well answer the question yourself by answering these questions.
Do you want a bigger screen or better portability?
Do you want something with a large memory capacity without anything hanging off it? Or cloud if you have good bandwidth?
Do you want more power for future games ie 1-2 years from now?
What ports do you need?
Do you want frequent updates, and lots of development?
Do you want to spend the extra cash?
Both are good devices, but you're comparing apples with oranges, so pick a fruit
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using Tapatalk 2
I would pick the Nexus 7.
Nexus 7 for sure
