[Q] WANTED: Rogers I727R Stock Android ROM - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

I have been searching (the forums, the google, and more) for the SGH-I727R_RWC_I727RUXKJ7_I727RRWCKJ7_I727RUXKJ7 stock Rogers ROM.
I want to have a fail-safe in the event of a soft-brick, and it looks like all previous uploads and other freely accessible methods of obtaining this ROM have turned into dead or deleted links. RapidShare, Hotfile, and MegaUpload (obviously) have all ceased to host this ROM.
Letitbit, a Russian filehost, seems to be the only place still hosting it, and each time I attempt to download it from them the archive gets corrupted at a different point during the download(thanks CRC Check).
I really want try out some of these ICS ROMS, but I'd like to be able to return to stock if everything goes wrong, or I don't like it.
Does anyone out there have the SGH-I727R_RWC_I727RUXKJ7_I727RRWCKJ7_I727RUXKJ7 ROM, and are willing to upload it?
Much Thanks.

Just go to firmware section and type i727 in the search box. Then scroll down and download the one that says i727r

Thanks. I checked that site out earlier, and somehow go the impression they were OEM technician resource, or pay-to-use membership site.
I don't know why I didn't bother to poke around a bit more, thanks again for the heads up. I'm downloading the ROM now.

Anyone wanna mirror that via dropbox for a couple hours so i can download it? I'm too lazy to sign up just for a tar lol

Isn't there a stock I727R tar. In the dev section? Under the how to tar Odin return to stock thread. I think the one that doesn't trigger the flash counter is 10-20 pages in.
Sent from my SGH-I727R using XDA

can you be more specific? i cant seem to find a 'dev' section or even 'development'

I was in the same boat a while ago. Grabbed the one off of Sammobile. Tested it out but that was the only time I have used it.
Make sure you do a nandroid backup before and you only use i727 roms and you will be fine.

Yay finally I do not have to go all the way back to gtgs never completed modem package thanks jordan.
Could you list links to each modem individually along with the package. The package is nice and all, but I hate to have to download the entire package when a new modem comes out. Either that or dig through the leak thread for the first person to package it up. That is what made GTGs thread so amazing, having the individual link to each modem.
Update: tried KK1, got abysmal data speeds <.2 Mbps, KI3 is still king, followed by KJ2.

Perhaps you could download them all and upload them all separately - its a lot of work for you to request of someone.

He can use the links from gtg's thread for the older modems, then each of the others has been uploaded and posted somewhere else, either in their own thread or in the Leak thread for that release.

I actually got up to 9mbit down when I was driving hone from work. Seems that this modem for me is in general (wifi) not faster but much more stable with less disconnecting randomly like the last two. I haven't tried the ki3 though. Just started playing with modems since the jk1

one SMALL request...
could you list on the first/main post... all the builds/version they came from and what their release dates are?
would most likely be helpful to all!

Quick thing - the version they came from is named the same - the UCKI3 modem came from the UCKI3 firmware leak, etc.

[Q] How to go back to stock everything?

Yes, I'm a noob. This forum can be a bit intimidating with all the forums, sub forums, and sub sub forums, so I apologize if this is in the wrong place.
What I've done...
Installed CWM
Made full backup using CWM
Rooted using superuser.zip
Reverted to backup via CWM
Everybody here seems to be hardcore about teaching others how to do cool things, which is awesome. However, I can't really find any solid information on how to revert back to stock.
I want to get rid of CWM, and anything else on my phone and just go back to how I got the phone from AT&T. I found the following thread, but A.) It's for Rogers, and B.) it seems a bit dated.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342348
So if someone can confirm if the info in that thread is still good, I'll follow that. However, will the Rogers files be different than AT&T? Where can I find stock AT&T stuff and how do I remove CWM.
I'm on Android 2.3.6 right now.
Yes, I'm comfortable using Odin.
*ducks anticipating newb hate*

Nice. I actually just looked harder at that thread, and while the title said Rogers...it does in fact have the AT&T tar.
Everything worked great.

Sammobile Stock tar (2.3.5 uckj2) for AT&T

This is the complete stock tar for the AT&T skyrocket. It includes the radio and everything to return to complete stock, out of the box state. It does not trip the flash counter.
-download and extract the tar.md5 with 7zip
http://d-h.st/bd3
You can also get it directly from the source here by making an account with them
-Make an account
-click the firmware tab
-type i727 in the search box
-you will also have the choice to select the Rogers version here
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
good stuff!

i know this is totally off topic but i noticed you use dev host for sharing files is that a better alternative as opposed to dropbox? if so is dev host free or relativley inexpensive? drop box is ok but really limits the amount you can upload. but what i do like about dropbox is i can access my files 24/7 from anywhere with a internet connection and they have an android app which makes uploading files very easy...

I use both. I use dev-host for things that I upload that will possibly have more traffic, as dropbox can't handle it. I use dropbox for personal stuff that I'm not uploading for the community. Dev-host has free hosting
Can this be flashed in Odin?
I know, noob type question. But I was wondering if that is how this file was meant to be flashed. I need to put my Skyrocket back to stock.

I have a question. I updated to ICS VIA odin and now my camera wont work. I tried every possible idea, wiping and flash back to stock 2.3.5 from another file in the stickie section but no luck. Will this file get my camera back up? How does it differ from the TAR file on the stickie section? Any help will be gladly appriciated

You can use the instuction in vincoms stickies, you download the stock firmware and flash it with odin, instruction are in the link, go to restore to stock section.

Help finding stock GB (Gingerbread 2.3.5/2.3.6) image

Thanks

Late reply, I know but it's an old device without much interest ... except for a few of us hoarders.
All I can locate is the UCMC1 in a quick google search (also the only one I have squirreled away). The download link is still good here >>> https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1785999
See subject #3 within the post. If it helped thank the OP Vincom.
Original OP, are you still looking for a stock image. I have the skyrocket, I727UCLA3, 2.3.6, if your interested. I would need some help to learn how to get it off the phone, but if your willing, I'm willing. Let me know. I'll check back.

If you have twrp you could backup ONLY the system and boot partitions (don't back up any others). Then someone could use that nandriod to install the firmware on their device.
