Hey Guys
wondered is someone could help
Im running LeeDroid's 2.3.5 Rom
I flashed Radio 10.58.9035.00U_10.15.9035.02_2 through bootloader along with the right RIL afterwards.
Now....In my Baseband version in settings, it states the same!
But when Im in Bootloader its telling me I have 10.14.9035.02_2???
Ive checked the threads and the only one similar is 10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01 and this is a previous version.
but its still not the one I flashed so is this a mis-print in bootloader because from what Im seeing 10.14.9035.02_2 doesnt exist

Hi,
Do not worry.
This is a common discrepancy.
Hboot seems to show one version behind the one you are using.
The correct version is shown in :
settings>about phone>software information>more>baseband version.

Thats great, thanks for the feedback....no need to panic now =)
I have a unlocked S4 HTC One S here in Ottawa, Canada. Using it with Mobilicity.
I am having major connectivity issues, dropping out of WiFi & 3G data all the time. Heard that an updated RUU radio might help.
I have looked all over this site, but I still have no idea which one I should be using, or where to find it.
Any help?
depending on your h-boot you might be able to flash zip radio only, without need for a ruu
try 1.06es radio, most people had good results with it
Thanks, but I was not asking how to, I can't seem to find any of the files that I need, or which version, which you just answered.

I have HBOOT 1.14, and that link says 1.13 or lower only. Also, I have the RADIO listed in that thread.
Is there not a newer ones available?

Thanks for the answer, but once again, that says for 1.13 or lower.
for hboot>1.13 the only way to upgrade radio without running a RUU is to flash a CM based ROM, and the radio would be updated to latest used by them, I guess now is 1.08ts
Hello guys. I am on HBOOT-6.98.1002 and I wanted to ask is there any newer one and what are differences between hboot versions? Is it worth to update it and for what reason and how to do it? Thanks in advance.

The latest official RUUs from other carriers typically contain hboot 2.15. I would suggest MaximusHD which is basically an unofficially released "stock" ROM if you prefer the Sense UI, otherwise, I would suggest Cyanogenmod 11 for a more vanilla android experience. You can find these ROMs in the development section.
Unfortunately since your device is a VilleC2, you're pretty much limited to what's in the C2 section. You CANNOT flash MaximusHD or the official version of CM11 since they are designed for the Ville. Incompatible processor types.
Look here for RUU files.

So, if I'm not wrong, there are NO RUUs for JB version of unbranded C2? Do I need to s-off if I'm planning to return my phone to stock?

If you're not S-OFF, you need to find the one for your specific hboot, radio version, region and carrier. I see a couple JB ones there, but that doesn't matter so much as the other thing I listed.
My apologies for giving you erroneous info. I did not clue in that yours is a C2. Obviously I need to pay more attention to detail.

You have a Evita_UTL. No hboot 2.15 is known to exist for your device.
This forum does not really cover you device, XDA does not have a forum for your device as it only seems to be sold in the Middle East.
Any attempt to flash Evita_UL binaries to your Evita_UTL would be an extremely risky process as these devices are unlikely to be hardware identical.
I agree. The only attempt I've seen at flashing firmware/binaries from the standard Evita to the middle eastern variant has resulted in a brick. Long story short, don't do it.

No, none of the standard Evita firmware packages or hboots are compatible.

do u think is that work with build 401 ??
What are you talking about?

You can't flash Evita ul firmware. We have said this over and over and over already.
You will need to ask HTC in the middle east regarding any info for updates to your device. Rogers and telus in north america have not received the sense 5 update either and probably won't ever get it now.

I've already informed you on at least one occasion that no firmware from the Evita UL is compatible with your variant (Evita UTL). That simply is not going to change, unfortunate as it is.
