[Q] Wich radio ? U or P ?

Hi,
I got an HTC Sensation and my radio number is 0.58.9035.00P_10.15.9035.02_2. I would like to know if I must install the version 10.58.9035.00U_10.15.9035.02_2 and what are the difference with the P version.

Hi,
There is no difference between the two radios,other than the two letters.
These just show the carrier you are using.

HTC Sensation XE new Rom Update

ive got my new rom update today with my stock htc sensation xe. 1.77.720.103
i dont know whats new in this firmware.. anyone got the firmware? is this compatible for rooting?

Android Version : 2.3.4
Sense 3.0
Software number: 1.77.720.103
Kernel Veriosn: 2.6.35.13-gbf669cc
Baseband Version: 10.58.9035.00U_10.15.9035.02_2
Build number 1.77.720.103 CL239628
Browser version: webkit/533.1

did u get the update over the air (OTA), did the update come some other way? or did the phone come that way?
are you sure that its 2.3.4
are you able to go into recovery and find out what version your hboot is?
hboot is the main issue with rooting I think.
someone help me out with this cause im probably missing a lot

Have u tried InsertCoin?
Im using 4.3.1 now... quite stable!

my HBOOT version is 1.18.0000 and icant root it using revolutionary, "failed to get root"
whats the solution for this? i tried more than 10 times..
ive got the update thru over the air.. and its android = 2.3.4

Regarding which ROM to choose for ICS I find RCMix robbery pretty good and stable.

My XE is also HBoot 1.18.0000 and i got S-OFF with Revolutionary with no problems.
Did you follow the guide?

Not to post jack... But I think what this person needs and I need is info about the new update. will it allow root still.
I just cant seem to figure out what he is really saying.
has anyone seen a new good, working guied for updating your rooted phone?

yes i follow the guide. Im using windows xp. I dont know if htc patched the new firmware to revolutionary. It say failed to get root.

I have this exact version. I'v updated and now
can't root so DO NOT update...

so its confirmed that it cant root to this latest firmware.. anyone tried to use htcsupertool v3 with this firmware? try htcsupertool if it can root..

i bought mine about 2 weeks back...revolutionary is not detecting it..
can someone please tell me how to find out about hboot? im a noob with respect to htc, so i'd appreciate some help

OK so after trying almost every way I
finally have a root on 1.77.720.103

2. revolutionary now works ! (start it regullarly)

I'm using it currently.However,it seems to be slower than previous builds like 1.73.708.4

Help me find same radio plz

Can anyone help me find the same radio and the corresponding RIL for this.
I want to use it on Energy rom.
Also if there is anyway to backup my current radio.

HI,
It could awkward figuring out which one you want.
The hboot radio is usually one number BEHIND the one that is actually installed.
The true radio is shown in:
Settings>about phone>software information>more>baseband version
So ,if hboot is showing:
10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01,
then you want to install:
10.58.9035.00U_10.15.9035.02_2

[Q] RUU Help

I have a unlocked S4 HTC One S here in Ottawa, Canada. Using it with Mobilicity.
I am having major connectivity issues, dropping out of WiFi & 3G data all the time. Heard that an updated RUU radio might help.
I have looked all over this site, but I still have no idea which one I should be using, or where to find it.
Any help?

depending on your h-boot you might be able to flash zip radio only, without need for a ruu
try 1.06es radio, most people had good results with it

I have HBOOT 1.14, and that link says 1.13 or lower only. Also, I have the RADIO listed in that thread.
Is there not a newer ones available?

Thanks for the answer, but once again, that says for 1.13 or lower.

for hboot>1.13 the only way to upgrade radio without running a RUU is to flash a CM based ROM, and the radio would be updated to latest used by them, I guess now is 1.08ts

Tell me if there is anything wrong with this picture:
I have unbranded device and software version is 2.31.401.5 and if i check for updates i get nothing.
As i understand there should be something like 2.35.xxx.x?

2.35 is for TMOUS.
