Ok. I have a Rogers Sim in the Province of Ontario
I'm in Ottawa, but these setting work for all of Ontario. You may need a different voicemail phone number, but these are sometimes setup automatically. The number one agent had given me didn't work as well as the phone number I recorded from my phone before I flashed it. Either way, maybe everyone in Canada can provide their provider phone setting here, so we all have one central place to look, and don't have to wait for hours with different agents to get all the information. Please feel free to add your Province or city settings here and tell us which provider as well! Thanks.

That all the info I could get from the various agents! If you have more info or any corrections, please feel free to add.
This has been already done, if you go through this thread you find out that Canada's settings are already being collected and if you go to the second link you can follow Walshieau's config. loader to automatically load your settings via XML following a hard reset or after you flash. Your settings seam to be a little different then the rest of Rogers in Ontario, but doesn't matter whatever makes your phone work.

Glad to know that is already available. I uninstalled my settings and am trying your xml. I check it out and see if that works well for me. Thanks for the future help!!

Please let me know
Since I had manually created my GPRS/MMS settings, I used the tap to delete method. So it should have been back to a 'virgin' state. I then installed your xml file. MMS Rogers did not appear, although a Rogers Internet did appear.
Tried to send MMS message....failed.
Tried to connect to internet .....failed.
Gave your file one more chance doing a hard reset.
Only Rogers Internet appears again under manage existing connections.
Tried to send MMS message....sent...Successful.....will verify once home if it was received.
Tried to connect to the Internet....Sucessful....Great Job!!
Your xml file only works from a fresh hard reset phone....deleting, soft reseting do not work.
P.s. Is there a way to disable the GPRS from connecting as soon as I click on IE? I generally use wifi for EI and don't use GPRS unless 'stranded'

If you are connected via WiFi it will not connect via GPRS, at least it doesn't for me. Glad it worked.
Hi there, i've just recently bought an HTC Fuze and just put on NATF v4 for fuze (IT'S GREAT!! Got rid of the AT&T stuff that i don't want and everything is just better!!). I'm on a FIDO Network and I can't seem to get my internet/3G to work. it works fine if it's on wi-fi or when plugged in but once i take it out, it doesn't work.
i even tried different configuring things:
name: FidoWAP
APN: wap.fido.ca
user: fido
pass: fido
&
name: FidoINT
APN: internet.fido.ca
user: fido
pass: fido
I've searched the forums and google for same issues but i can't find any. i'm starting to think it's just me who has this problem. i'm not very familiar with this phone or settings and i'm actually pretty happy that i got to flash the rom considering i'm pretty noob at this stuff. Please Help!
Leave the username and password blank. Thats how it works for me!
I had some trouble initially too. There may be various configurations that work (no username/password/domain etc.) but here are the settings I am using successfully: (Hopefully this is everything I did! )
Name: whatever
Modem: Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G)
APN: internet.fido.ca
Username: fido
Password: fido
Domain: 205.151.011.011 (note the zeros)
Advanced: No changes
in MMS Options
Gateway: 205.151.11.13 (note the lack of zeros)
Port: 8080
Server Address: http://mms.fido.ca
Also, make sure to run the disable proxy cab. This will get most things working.
To get Opera working I had to uninstall the version that NATF included and install the latest version I could find.
I haven't been able to test the caller id fix yet (it is supposed to be confirmed working and already included in the ROM), and I have had no success in getting rid of the roaming icon, but other than that it seems everything is up and running.

I've been using this setup for a while now. However, I find my download speed very slow (130kb/s) compare to my friend Iphone, which he got over 300kb/s.
Can anyone tell me what's the top speed you got on your Fuze/Touch Pro?
I use this link to check my speed: http://dslreports.com/mspeed?jisok=1&more=1
I just got 998kb/s and my reception is pretty spotty inside. Tried a second time and got 1338.

are you on Fido?
What's the Icon you have? 3G, E or H?
Also man, if you're connecting through USB, then of course you'll get that speed. I'm talking about using Fido service without USB, like on the street.

I'm on Fido with H. Of course not through USB. Just tried at home where my signal strength is much better (not that it actually matters) and got 382 and 472.
Note: I'm using Opera 15613 and Radio 1.11.25.01

That made more sense then your previous post when you said you got more than 1MB/s
Thanks for the info... I'll try that radio

My GPS is not locking at all and I've searched thru n found a couple things to try but nothing seems to work. Anybody?
G2x Deez Nuts
Same issue, change SLP to Google, Nokia, always the same issue. GPS is spotty.

How do I change the spl?
G2x Deez Nuts
Dial 1809#*999#
GPS Test
Settings
According to the GPS test App I have 10/10 sats.......but the Google maps wont locate me and neither will other programs!!
G2x Deez Nuts
When I run Get Position under the LocMgrPD Test Menu (1809#*999#) and it locks, then all my GPS apps, Navigation, Telenav, Waze, Maps, etc will work. However, Get Position will only find me 7 out 10 times. I added a Any Cut Activity to my desktop with a link direct to LocMgrPD so I could Get Position quick and bypass the 1809#*999# entry. This has been the only way I have been able to get Nav and GPS to sometimes work.
I hope the GB Update includes a fix for the GPS Driver and this is not a hardware issue. I suppose if it is hardware, once the GB Update is out I can always return the phone and get a new one under the warranty as the GPS should really work. This and a minor Screen Bleed have been the only flaws in what is now my 2nd G2X.
By the way, try to run the Get Position in the LocMgrPD. It does the same thing as GPS Test, but for me it locks, while GPS Test never does.
Below is from another XDA poster...
Nokia SUPL - locks in about 16 seconds (GPS Status)
1. Go into the LG hidden menu (1809#*999#)
2. Go into GPS Test
3. Go into System Settings
4. MOLR Protocol (is set to User-Plane)
5. SULP Setting -> SLP Server Setting, I created a new one for the nokia servers (slp address: supl.nokia.com, port: 7275, no cert and no TLS setting)
6. SLP Auto Provision is activated
Google SUPL - locks in about 7 seconds (GPS Status)
1. Go into the LG hidden menu (1809#*999#)
2. Go into GPS Test
3. Go into System Settings
4. MOLR Protocol (is set to User-Plane)
5. SULP Setting -> SLP Server Setting, I created a new one for the Google (slp address: supl.google.com, port: 7275, cert NULL and Yes to TLS setting)
6. SLP Auto Provision is activated
Note: I personally believe it has something to do with the SLP Auto Provision. Mine was off by default when i launched hiddenmenu.
Its there a way to restore the LG menu to CM7 roms? Someone upload the hiddenmenu.apk maybe?

Thanks for this. Unfortunately, setting the SLP server to supl.google.com didn't help; it still took GPS Status 106 seconds for the first fix (which is very much in line with what I had been getting, and indicative of the AGPS data not being used). A couple of specific questions (which I realize you may not have the answers to, since you were quoting this from another poster):
The MOLR protocol button is grayed-out on my phone, so I have no idea whether it's set to User-Plane or C-Plane. Is there anything I need to do to enable this button?
Also, the supl.google.com instructions say "cert NULL" -- does that mean putting the exact characters N U L L into that box, or leaving it empty, or something else?
Yep, beyond my pay grade, no idea how these phones actually work. I left Cert blank and my MOLR was grayed too.
I wish someone with knowledge of how this phone actually worked would respond to the GPS issue threads, but everyone around here seems to be preoccupied with arguing over the merits of a G2x and Sendation.
Hi,
My Samsung Galaxy 4G (SGH-T959V, Android 2.2.1 T959VUVKD1) has suddenly stopped connecting to the 4G (not even 2G or 3G) network. The 4G icon (that appears next to network signal icon) with the up and down arrows is gone. Upon hitting any webpage the browser displays a 'Web page not available' error. But home Wi-fi mode works fine. Also call features are just fine.
Troubleshooting:
I had a series of trouble shooting sessions with T-mobile support and nothing did work. Even the master reset option was performed twice. In store I tried switching the SIM card which also did not work. But if I switched my SIM to another phone, it works there. All other basic network settings are correct.
Manufacturer warranty expired a couple months ago . Hence replacement option is not possible.
Android log:
Installed an app to view android logs and found the below entries. Any inference?

Please let me know if anyone has faced this situation before and how to get this fixed.
Thanks.
Many ROMs have a reasonably well hidden option to enable/disable data. Where it is depends on the ROM.
The logcat is a great idea. Can you capture one shortly after you boot the phone? What I see there is the GPS likely trying to get orbital data, but that the network is down. The data there looks "good" as far as epc.tmobile.com goes, but no clues in the snippet as to what went wrong. Longer logcats can be put up on pastebin or the like (when you are sure there isn't any personal information in them) and a link posted here.
Edit: logcat -b radio - v time (or its equivalent in your app) may provide clues if making sure data is enabled does not resolve the problem.

Thanks for the reply. I have attached the logs. Second log is with option -b radio -v time.
Sorry, I am not sure of the ROM you are talking about. If it is about the android version, then it is Android Froyo 2.2.1.
