I need TMOUS Firmware please - HTC Sensation

After attempting to install Revolution HD ROM with ICS on my Sensation 4G I am stuck in boot loop.
I suspect it is because I installed the wrong firmware being a noob.
Does anyone have the stock firmware (not the RUU executable, just the firmware .zip) I could flash to re-install my team win recovery & restore my device back to t-mobile stock everything?

did u flash the latest firmware before flashing ARHD?

What is your CID? The firmware depends on your CID number. If you don't know, go into cmd and type the following. I am assuming you have the SDK configured and installed with the HBOOT drivers. Assuming you are not already in fastboot USB mode. Type the following:
cd C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools
then
adb reboot bootloader
then
adb getvar cid
Then get the latest correct firmware from here. Put the PG58IMG.zip on the root of your SD card. If it doesn't work check that it isn't called PG58IMG.zip.zip. If it succeeds and your phone is still in a bootloop, (it happened to me) flash a new ROM or flash the official RUU and then restart the rooting process.
Thanks if I helped

When you flashed ARHD did you use the 6.5.5 that was released today? and if so, sis you choose the faux kernel? This is a known issue if so, check the ARHD thread or just flash the faux kernel manually from its thread.

I tried all 4 of the firmware packages in the firmware thread & none of them got me out of bootloop. How do I flash the official RUU? Do I just run the RUU.exe then boot to phone to Fastboot mode and connect it via USB to the PC?
Also, to get the CID via cmd prompt do I need to be in fastboot on the phone too?

I found your post & this seems to be the relevant info to me:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1542555
"...You also have to be 100% stock (e.g. NOT rooted). If you are running a custom ROM you HAVE to use the http://www.4shared.com/file/risaQet4...pe_1454012.htm RUU to get back to stock but you HAVE to leave the phone S-OFF. "
I still have the following question:
"How do I flash the official RUU? Do I just run the RUU.exe then boot to phone to Fastboot mode and connect it via USB to the PC?"

Also, it appears my PC is not able to detect the phone when its connected (another issue from me stupidly flashing the wrong firmware?).
Is there a way to flash the stock TMO US Firmware when phone/computer can't connect for adb and fastboot commands?
Will flashing via HBoot (dropping the .zip file in the root folder of the SD card) work?

I get [Error 131] Wrong Customer ID when I try flashing using the RUU.
I know I changed my CID last night to HTC__001 from the default TMOsomething one.
How do I change the CID when the phone isn't recognized by adb & fastboot?
Is there a way to change it over HBoot?

Update (in case any Noob like me ever has this same issue again):
I managed to finally get the PC to "see" the phone by HBOOT installing 4Ext Recovery.
Updated back to stock firmware. Then I fastboot changed the CID back to T-MOB010 and was able to flash (via HBoot) the stock T-Mo firmware 1.50.531.1.
Now I'm back to stock everything.
Lesson: Don't ever flash firmware before verifying it supports your Model & CID!

[Q] 3.12 Firmware (N00B question)

This morning i pushed firmware 3.24 on to my Vodafone UK Sensation But even though i checked and the CIDNUM was correct i still got the CID Incorrect Update Fail message and now stuck in infinite bootloop, how do i now push my old firmware (3.12) through fastboot as i have tried but still get the same message no option for installing the new firmware? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Guys!
Did you SuperCID?
If not, you should still be able to do it through Fastboot. (That command isn't locked out)
Then Mike1986's firmwares should flash easily.
its still not letting me do it what would be the best firmware to flash back to? Links would help immensely only intending on rolling back to ARHD 3.6.13 2.3.4
Like SkipJacks said, verify that your CID is correct. Do you have the android sdk installed on your computer? Is so, type at the command line:
Code:
fastboot getvar cid
This will tell you your CID. If it's not all 1s then you didn't write Super CID correctly.
This thread has the guide for getting everything going: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300
The reason that you're getting a bootloop is probably because your current ROM isn't supported by the new firmware. So get Super CID, put the new firmware and the new rom on your sd card, flash the firmware, reboot into recovery and flash the new rom, then delete the firmware zip, and you'll be good to go.
To boot directly into recovery and avoid the bootloop that your bootloader is causing, type (I think):
Code:
fastboot reboot recovery
If you can tell me what step you're at or where your stuck, I'll help you further. Good luck!
This is what im getting when booting into the bootloader and going into fastboot usb mode to write superCID :/
What happens if you run
Code:
adb devices
at the command line?
when i run adb devices it says nothing but i had to put it into manual fastboot cos i cant get into the rom to reboot it in the first place!
Take a look at this thread. It has instructions for carrier specific firmware updates. Maybe you could flash the firmware that has your cid.
The reason your stuck in an infinite loop is because the PG58IMG.zip from the failed firmware update is still on your card. If you replace it with one from the thread below and reboot maybe you can get the new firmware installed successfully.

Mate these are not RUU, they are just a reference, for example v3.32 is an RUU, Android Revolution HD, Elegancia etc are Custom ROMs based on v3.32 RUU, that's why they mentioned it in there respective titles. Majority People don't flash RUUs, instead they flash custom ROMs made by the devs, they modifies the RUU, and brings it for us with various fixes and Enhancments. If you want to flash RUU, Refer to This Guide, and follow the steps carefully, and i think you can go to Sensation Android Development and choose to flash the custom ROMs, in my opinion they are highly enhanced for performance, use Insert Coin or Virtuous Inquisition instead.

You seem to know ur stuff im hoping you can help me.
Brand new stock Telstra HTC One XL (Australia)
Unlocked & rooted, TWRP recovery.
Backed up stock.
Installed a few different ROMs before deciding on one.
Accidentally reset factory from hboot instead of twrp.
Lost stock ROM back up.
Mounted USB & copied custom ROMs back across to sdcard.
Files did not appear on sdcard.
Decided to partition and try again.
On sucessful partition, suddenly all files became visible, despite partition warning "all files will be deleted"
Flashed Viper XL successfully.
SDcard total storage reading as 24gb (32gb stock)
1. if i have done anything to reduce my available storage i want to get it back.
2. id like to go back to stock rom and basically start from scratch with clean stock backup and clean storage.
I found a link to the ATT One X stock rom on the US HTC support site.
I cant find anything similar on the AU site for the One XL.
I read i have to re-lock my bootloader, thats fine i found a tutorial, but i need to find the stock rom.
Also i have no understanding of RUU nor do i have it downloaded.
EDIT-
I have just downloaded RUU Evita UL Telstra WWE 1.89. 841.9 Radio 0.18c.32.09.01 10.9 3a.32.20L release 266699 signed .exe

This is sensation only forum.. But as the question is kinda generic I can help you
Now if you want to go back to stock then options are
1. Restore the stock backup (which you've lost now)
2. Flash a recovery flashable zip (just like a custom rom zip) of stock rom (which makes it almost stock)... You need to find it in the Sensation xl section of xda
3. Flash a ruu..Use this guide as reference http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26541170 (everything won't apply for you.. But almost 90% of it applies)
As for sdcard data loss.. Backup the current contents of sdcard and do a proper format of the sdcard using sdpartitioner(a good tool for formatting sdcard in windows)
Btw I don't understand why you need a partition of sdcard

It was suggested to me by a mate who has more experience with android than i do.
Thought it might be a good idea to put the back up / roms there.
Just found it odd that after mouting and transferring them, they didnt actually become visible until after the partition was created?
Thanks for the rest of the advice i'll give it a look.
I replied to you here knowing its a sensation forum only because when i searched this was the only relevant thread i found.
I found this tutorial and have followed it to step 5. the point of flashing the recovery.img but i get "error; cannot load recovery.img"
1. Download the correct RUU for your device and carrier!!
2. Charge the battery above 50% or for at least one hour. If the battery dies during the flashing process, you could hard brick the phone!
3. Run the RUU until the wizard comes up. While the RUU wizard is open, find the temporary folder it created. (Open Explorer in Windows and type %temp% in the navigation bar.) There will be two folders with long encrypted names. In one of them you will find ROM.zip. Open it with 7zip and extract recovery.img. Put it in the location were you've installed Android SDK tools. This is the stock HTC Recovery and it is needed to run the RUU.
4. Boot the phone into bootloader (power off, hold down volume and press power) and highlight FASTBOOT using the volume rocker and pressing power. Then connect the USB cable. You should see FASTBOOT USB.
5. Open a command prompt in Windows and navigate to the folder where you installed Android SDK tools. Flash the stock recovery extracted in step 3 above using the following command:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
6. Relock the bootloader using the following command:
fastboot oem lock
7. Re-run the RUU. It will restore the device to it's original condition, locked (though *** RELOCKED ***) and unrooted.
Once the install is done you'll have unlock the bootloader again using the token you already have from the first time, reflash CWM Recovery and re-root. All this will be 10x easier than the first time.
If you do re-root your phone, be 100% you backup the stock ROM in ClockworkMod Recovery before making changes!

[Q] S3 Villec2 OTA update

I've got an HTC One S [s3]. CID is HTC__622 Asia HK
I have unlocked bootloader, TWRP recovery and superSU loaded as well as Rom Manger
Tonight there is an OTA update available. So I want to use it. I downloaded it and
ran command: fastboot oem lock
and tried to run the update. It just keeps booting into my fastboot menu.
I heard that I need to install stock recovery tfor this to work but I don't know where I can find it.
I do have a reovery_signed.img file that I saved from somewhere that is 5,957 kb. Not sure if I flash that if it would give me stock recovery.
Can someone give me a direction to go. I have spent last 12 hours just reading stuff and still don't know what to do.

The problem is I didn't take a backup before I unlocked my bootloader and flashed twrp recovery so I don't have a stock recovery to go back to.
The RUU for HTC__044 has a different CID and won't work on my device unless I can extract just the stock recovery from the RUU without having to install it. Is that possible?

What you have to do is
1. Flash stock recovery
2. Lock your bootloader
3. Enter fastboot and run the RUU for your phone
Your phone will then be just as it was when you bought it and then you can run the OTA. Make sure you find the right RUU for your phone. I have been searchiing for one for days and couldnt find it. Hope this helped

Where can I find stock recovery for HTC One S c2?
How to lock bootloader?
THANK YOU!
I have a question.
I already flash 4.1.1 via OTA and use some bloody init.d script for R/W system, that doesnt work and gives me reboot after I enter into supersu app.
My question is... how can i flash 4.1.1 again (i wanna clean system, just for better feeling.) If Im using TWRP recovery? Because, ota file doesnt contain stock recovery as RUU does and I didnt find any ruu for 4.1.1 CID_032 | villec2.
sorry, for my bad english.

Maybe a stock recovery of JB would be enough.
Hello guys,
Try this:
Step 1: relock the bootloader (start your phone in fastboot, open cmd, got to folder where are fastboot files, type "fastboot oem lock" )
Step 2: find your desired stock jb or ics online. http://filesdownload.net/showthread.php?70-HTC-One-S-(-RUU_VILLE-)-(-RUU_VILLEC2-)
Step 3: connect your phone to the pc in fastboot (make sure you have the htc drivers installed).
Step 4: run the RUU or stock file as an exe. An installation guide will follow, just follow it through.
Step 5: Now you are in stock ROM
It should work after this!
On my HTC One S [S3] , CID HTC_032 works
splanet.info has something interesting
At least ota is there for htc__622

After I locked my bootloader and tried running the OTA update I tried a few things that didn't work.
But what did work for me was when I unlocked bootloader again
And used Hasoon's Toolkit for One S
and reflashed the recovery file. I used the recovery_signed.img file (5,957 kb) that I had saved from when I was rooting it the first time and renamed it to a one word name per Hasoon's instructions, then flashed it.
Then I relocked bootloader and did a factory reset and ran the OTA update and it worked.
I was lucky that I had that recovery file saved. Still not sure where I got it from. But one thing for sure is that it was hard to find a RUU file for my CID. Hasoon's toolkit does have links to a website with a list of RUUs on it but mine wasn't on the list.
If you want me to email you my signed_recovery.img file send me a pm with your email address and I'll send it.

And as I am not s–off, so i dont think 3.32 ruu would work. Correct me if i'm wrong.
Try flashing boot.IMG manually.
I don't exactly remember the fast boot command but since fast boot commands are working then you can try flashing the boot image manually.

And where do i get this boot image? From ruu?

Not gonna try and bombard you with information I'm not sure why your phone won't boot but I am sure completely installing a new rom (everything) should fix you up so here is what I'll try and lead you to go..
1 use 4ext recovery and enable smart flash and flash a fresh rom.
So are u on 4ext recovery don't worry if your not that HTC unlocked bootloader is just as good as s-off if your bricked and know how to use it

Get the boot image from the custom ROM. Try to extract it with 7-zip or another similar program

also before flashing any rom
format all partitions except sdcard from 4ext
then enable smartflash and flash the rom
Still no luck
Ok.. i decided to flash a custom rom (ANDROID REVOLUTION)
1. Flashed 4ext recovery
2. Wiped all partitions except sd card.
3. Enabled smartflash.
4. Flashed rom.
5. Rebooted and still stuck at the htc logo screen( m really sick of this logo now).
Did I miss something?
You know those official updates that cone in a format P8500IMG.zip can you try to find that for your phone unfortunately this will probably result in loss of your root

Cheers guys.. Its back to life again
DON'T HAVE WORDS TO THANK YOU ALL.
Here's what I did..
From my experience.. i believe even after enabling smartflash, the boot image wasn't being flashed.
So what I did is extracted the boot. img from custom rom and flashed it via fastboot.
And voila.. it worked!!
Seems so simple now.. but it took me one week. Wouldn't have been possible without you guys.
Thanks a ton.
Cheers.

Htc sensation cant upgrade to ics or jb

hello all.thanks to xda, i am not new to rom installation or modding. i even have my own roms.
My sensation 4g has a strange issue. When i flash a Gingerbread RUU, it works flawlessly and perfectly. Then when i install an ICS RUU it installs perfectly, then on startup, it hangs and gives a bootloop afterwards.i have tried all ICS ruu wih the same issue (i am cid 11111111)
I gave up using RUU's and used all recovery managers there is for HTC sensation.on installing any rom, it gives status 7 error (set perm:some changes failed) , which i believe is a wrong recovery installation issue.
i have tried every recovery installation installation method with successful flashing of the recovery (flashing pg58img via ruu mode, putting it in zip in memory card, rom manager, fastboot mode etc) but rom wont flash.
I have installed all the hbbots and radios available for this phone with no response.
Can anybody help me please?
i am on soff and unlocked bootloader too.i tried s on even before ruu install.

about ics ruu probably you need to change your cid to orignal one(or any official)
then install the ics ruu
about recovery try the latest version via fastboot

then try to flash any custom rom

Have you tried flashing the ruu by using the fastboot OEM rebootruu commands?
Did you wipe cache afterwards?

actually extract the pg58img.zip from ruu.exe and type
fastboot flash zip pg58img.zip
or put it in the root of sdcard and install it from bootloader
