Yesterday, my Googple Play Store was automatically updated from v3.4.7 to v3.5.15.
Since the update, the app doesn't say anymore if there's an update available for my apps (in previous version no problems with that).
On my Galaxy Tab, I still have v3.4.7 and most of my apps installed on my Note are also installed on my Tab; I received already several updates on my Tab, but NO mentions on my Note that there are updates available!
I deleted already the "buffer" of the app in the Applications-menu; when doing this, the updates are visible in v3.5.15, but when new updates come available -> NO mention of it!
I think, it's not the way when I want to see if updates are available, I've to clear the buffer everytime...!
Is there a solution for this, or do I've to wait for the next update of the Google Play Store?
If you have tittanium backup try Market Update Helper from google play.
Maybe it helps.

Hm...Thats a small problem....
So, you cant do anything more except clearing google play's cache/data mister.
And its a strange problem especially for a stock firmware.
Maybe another guy have a better idea.
I now see, that after the update my Market Updater is gone! (see screenshots Note & Galaxy Tab)
The same also happened on my HTC Desire HD: the Market Updater there is also 0b now after the 3.5.15-update!

Hi,
Samsung Galaxy SII user here.
This afternoon I noticed the Google Play icon was missing from my homescreen.
I've searched for it but it isn't in my applications or in the manage applications list.
How do I get it back?
Please help!
Hello mate,
Check out this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1550167 it has a link to the play stores apk file. If the link is down just do a Google search for it.

stoped unexectedly. Please try

Did you try;
Manage Apps -> Google Play Store -> Clear Data
Launch Google Play Store and accept terms.

Hi, I've installed the custom ROM Reaper and I'm very grateful to his author lowled (thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1433816). I post here because I don't have permission to post in this developer thread and because my problem could happen with other custom roms.
The problem is that when I try to install some applications from Google Play it says that my device it's not compatible, when I know that they are very compatible. I think that the application installation of these applications in Google Play doesn't recognize Reaper rom as a SO version allowed. I've done some research with google but I haven't found a trusful solution. I think maybe I should edit a system file but I don't want to make a mesh.
I've been downloading, from several websites, apks from problematic applications when I can find them, but I'm tired of this,
So I'd like you to help me to make Google Play install does applications I know that are compatible with my reaper ROM. Thanks in advance
I had been using CM7.2 stable which is GB 2.3.7 as well and there were a couple of times google play said certain apps were not compatible with my device when I knew that they had no problem running on DS.
one of those was Angry Birds Star Wars and I even wrote to Rovio. and their reply was along the line of : it was due to the size of the installation file and the cache space available on the device.
I later upgraded to JB and had no problem installing all these apps in google play that once gave me headache.
u could use market unlocker
Thanks

Thanks, I'm thinking in changing Reaper rom to solve the problem, but I'm very happy with it. I'm going to continue looking for a solution.

Hello, after updating the firmware on my PRO LTE version, I noticed the following:
- There seems to be a new app called "Play Movies & TV". It seems to be an app to buy and then play Movies and TV. Am I right? Any good point in using it?
- I noticed a new app called "GALAXY Apps". I supposed it is an app to suggest apps for the Note PRO.
Other than these, I don't see any noticeable changes. Do you?

Google Play Store update for non-US. They started setting Shows and Films in Google Play for Non-US users. It would've appeared in the Play Store update, not the firmware update.

Neither are related to a firmware update
Thanks. Do you know what have been changed in Firmware updates? I don't see any differences...
Any chance to get the firmwareupdate on a rooted device? OTA does not work
THX!

Samsung doesn't release a changelog, so I have no idea. (nor have I updated.) it's usually just bugfixes and such.

Enable Survivor mode/root keeper in the superuser or supersu app, temp disable root, OTA it and re-enable Root.
Or of you're not intending to keep Root or re-root, flash using ODIN.

Hey guys, I have an issue when installing the newest version of the Google Play Store on my Nexus 5.
I'm running Android L (LPV79) with Code Blue kernel r1172 and when the installation finishes the Play Store force closes and I can't do anything about it.
Is anyone else having this issue ?
Thanks.

This is a funny issue. The Lollipop version of Play doesn't work on Lollipop preview
Go to Settings > Applications and Uninstall updates for Play store
