Did you try;
Manage Apps -> Google Play Store -> Clear Data
Launch Google Play Store and accept terms.

NO RESULTS. I read in issues that others after roll back to previous version download from web version. From web is o.k, if google play hadn't opened on device.
Besides, with new google account people haven't any problem.

It directly gets updated and we don't have to install it separately.
If it doesn't then do the following:
Clear the data for the Market by going to
Settings => Applications => Manage Applications => Switch to the 'All' Tab above => Clear Data => Done.
Now open Market and it should ask for accepting the terms & conditions for Play Shop. Now your 'Market' App will be replaced by 'Play Shop' App.
If you still can't then you could use the above link.
Hope this helps.

BUG in Google Play Store v3.5.15

Yesterday, my Googple Play Store was automatically updated from v3.4.7 to v3.5.15.
Since the update, the app doesn't say anymore if there's an update available for my apps (in previous version no problems with that).
On my Galaxy Tab, I still have v3.4.7 and most of my apps installed on my Note are also installed on my Tab; I received already several updates on my Tab, but NO mentions on my Note that there are updates available!
I deleted already the "buffer" of the app in the Applications-menu; when doing this, the updates are visible in v3.5.15, but when new updates come available -> NO mention of it!
I think, it's not the way when I want to see if updates are available, I've to clear the buffer everytime...!
Is there a solution for this, or do I've to wait for the next update of the Google Play Store?
If you have tittanium backup try Market Update Helper from google play.
Maybe it helps.

Hm...Thats a small problem....
So, you cant do anything more except clearing google play's cache/data mister.
And its a strange problem especially for a stock firmware.
Maybe another guy have a better idea.
I now see, that after the update my Market Updater is gone! (see screenshots Note & Galaxy Tab)
The same also happened on my HTC Desire HD: the Market Updater there is also 0b now after the 3.5.15-update!

We're aware of an issue where some people get a "Device not compatible" error message in the Google Play Store when trying to download Instagram, even though Instagram should support the phone. Google is currently investigating this issue with Google Play Store.
As a temporary workaround, Google suggests clearing Google Play Store's data from your phone and then trying to install Instagram. To do this, go to Settings > Application Manager > All > Google Play Store > Clear data.
If this workaround doesn't resolve your problem, please let us know.

Yes it is
Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store > Clear Data
My tip: Reinstall your ROM
If the playstore is showing error, just download the instagram apk from slideme app store and install it manually.

[Q] Google Play Store 5.0.31 FC

Hey guys, I have an issue when installing the newest version of the Google Play Store on my Nexus 5.
I'm running Android L (LPV79) with Code Blue kernel r1172 and when the installation finishes the Play Store force closes and I can't do anything about it.
Is anyone else having this issue ?
Thanks.

This is a funny issue. The Lollipop version of Play doesn't work on Lollipop preview
Go to Settings > Applications and Uninstall updates for Play store

I know, it's kinda ridiculous but yeah, it happens
That's what I did, I just wanted to know if more people had this issue because I really wanted to try the new version out

Covid app in UK

I want to instal the covid tracing app but it says I must update goggle play services with a pop up.
Is this safe to do and if so where do I get the update from?

Do you have GMS installed and working? If so, you can update through APK Pure, and it has not caused any issues for me to update Google Play. If you do not have GMS, there is no way to activate it at this time, unfortunately, so the app won't work.

Yes I do have GMS installed and working fine. Is APK Pure an app or a website to get it from and should I install the latest version?

Search for APKPure on your phone (website is apkpure .com) and download their APK. It will help keep all of your apps updated, and it's safe to use. I've been consistently updating my Google Services and Google Play and haven't experienced any issues whatsoever.
