LauncherPro: auto-rotate in app drawer puts all apps in top left corner - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

I'm sure this is a common issue but I can't seem to find a way to word it to yield any fruitful search results.
If you enter the app drawer in portrait orientation and then turn your phone to landscape, all the icons overlap in one spot in the top left corner. Returning to portrait puts all the icons back in their correct places. If you are in landscape mode before hitting the app drawer button, the icons draw correctly. Rotating to portrait is also fine, but attempting to go back to landscape creates the same problem.
Is this problem a known one? Is there a fix besides switching launchers (I've tried ADW, ADW Ex, GO Ex, etc., and still vastly prefer LP over all others)?

Report the problem to the developer of the launcher.

adw launcher landscape

I am using adw launcher right now and i love it except or the fact that it switches to landscape mode when i am at my homescreen which i hate. I am trying to see but i cant find any way to shut this function off, can anyone help me?
Yeah, go into homescreen settings and turn off the auto-rotate function in your ADW settings.

Launcher Pro Wallpaper

Is anyone else having problems with wallpaper on Launcher Pro? Using the default launcher, the wallpaper scales down to the size I set. Launcher Pro keeps it HUGE and cannot be adjusted no matter what the resolution is.
Am I doing something wrong?
I have the same problem, it happens basically with any launcher that is non stock. theres apps that can fix the problem, but seems like a quirk that we're stuck with
Three letters. ADW

Click to collapse
So I was having the same problem and figured out what causes it, and a way to generally avoid it.
what seems to be causing it: Allowing home screen rotation. It appears that as soon as you rotate, Launcher pro resizes the wp to that pixelated mess, and will not revert it back once returning to portrait. I've had it happen also while going to the home screen while having the browser in landscape
to prevent: from home screen click menu / preferences / behavior settings / -> and make sure "enable auto rotation" is unchecked. (don't worry you can still rotate in apps by activating the rotation setting in the notification bar, unchecking that box just prevents the home screen rotation)
to fix your current messed up wallpaper: click menu / settings / applications / manage applications / -> click launcher pro / click clear defaults.
this will allow you to activate touchwiz again. So hit the home screen button and select TW to complete that action. after it's done try setting your wp again. Go ahead and reset launcher pro as your default now and your wp should still look good. You should now be able to crop new wp's and have them look fine too.
you shouldnt have to do this again
all set!
That did the trick. Thanks!
I tried that but it didn't work on my evo 3d
there is another work around
open the pic you want to use
rotate your phone to landscape mode
set your wallpaper using the landscape square, not the narrow one. Let it finish.
rotate your phone back to normal
your WP should now not be that pixelated mess

[Q] Rotation "in place" App/Launcher?

Does anyone know of an app or a Launcher that will allow for screen rotation, from portrait to landscape and keep icons "in place"?
I dont use landscape because when the switch happens, i always seem to lose icons and what not in the bottom. If the icons themselves simply rotated in place, it would be perfect (dock on the side if applicable, ect).
Problem is, Ive never seen or heard of anything like this and searches just pull up typical rotation apps (as far as i can tell).
Anyone seen anything like this?
Hm...If I remember correctly, I think Apex Launcher has a rotation function.

Need to view portrait app in landscape

Any ideas?
I've tried a few rotate widgets/apps, couple different driving mode overlays, Nova launcher, etc.
I want to use gopro app to turn/record but the home screen of the app requires you to log in, which cannot be seen in landscape view and no scroll function.

Question Gesture navigation animation delay and landscape edge panel

I've been using gesture navigations on my old P30 Pro and enabled it for the S22 Ultra. I've noticed that when navigation is set to "swipe from sides and bottom", it introduces special animations when minimizing apps/going back to the homescreen, that is different from the animations when using "swipe from bottom" gestures or when using navigation bar buttons. With "swipe from sides and bottom" selected, whenever I do the home gesture which is slide up from the bottom of the screen, it plays the return home/minimize app animation and I notice that I have to wait for the animation to finish before I could perform my next swipe gesture. For Nova, Apex, Microsoft and several other launchers that I've tested, I notice that I need to wait for the animation to finish before I could do another gesture like opening the app drawer by swiping up. This apparently happens to all launchers except for the default One UI launcher - where even if the animation is not yet finished, I can swipe up and open the app drawer. This delay does not happen to any launcher when using swipe form bottom gestures or navigation bar buttons. Is there a way to fix this?
Also, is there a way to use edge panel in landscape? On my old Huawei, their version of the edge panel works in any orientation. Basically, I just need a way to open apps in a popup window in landscape where I can choose which app i could open instead of opening the app first, and then choosing to open it in a popup window using the recent apps/task manager button.
I was thinking the same from a couple days, but too lazy to start a thread
With third part launchers, sometimes when I return to home, if I try to open an app or make some gesture, the phone open an app himself, casually...
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who noticed this nuance. TS explained everything what I had in mind for a loooooong time.
Is there any way to make 3rd party launcher "act like the default" when it comes to animations?
Note: I'm using Motorola Edge 30 Ultra so it doesn't matter whether it's a Samsung phone or not. Animations and gestures behave differently in any 3rd party launcher.
