Need to view portrait app in landscape - MTCD Android Head Units Q&A

Any ideas?
I've tried a few rotate widgets/apps, couple different driving mode overlays, Nova launcher, etc.
I want to use gopro app to turn/record but the home screen of the app requires you to log in, which cannot be seen in landscape view and no scroll function.

How to Disable Auto Rotate?

Is there a way to disable the rotate on the Touch Pro? My annoyance is that some times I take pictures with the phone in landscape..... and when I view the pictures, the phone would auto rotate the screen making unviewable
I see a solution with using different picture viewer. I use Resco, because it has much more functionalities than builtin viewer. I want to disable autorotation while keyboard is slided out. Any hack for this?

LauncherPro: auto-rotate in app drawer puts all apps in top left corner

I'm sure this is a common issue but I can't seem to find a way to word it to yield any fruitful search results.
If you enter the app drawer in portrait orientation and then turn your phone to landscape, all the icons overlap in one spot in the top left corner. Returning to portrait puts all the icons back in their correct places. If you are in landscape mode before hitting the app drawer button, the icons draw correctly. Rotating to portrait is also fine, but attempting to go back to landscape creates the same problem.
Is this problem a known one? Is there a fix besides switching launchers (I've tried ADW, ADW Ex, GO Ex, etc., and still vastly prefer LP over all others)?
Report the problem to the developer of the launcher.

Smart Rotator

Very great app. I hate Auto-Rotate mode because it always triggered at the wrong moment! It's really help me to customize my Android. I put fixed landscape mode for 90% of my normal and system apps (Apex Launcher, Opera Mobile, Polaris Office etc). Smart Rotator starts on device boot and always control your apps rotate mode. You can choose Auto-Rotate, Portrait Fixed or Landscape Fixed for separate apps. Smart Rotator completely changed my usual "portrait" use of Galaxy Note. Now I always hold my device at landscape mode and it become more comfortable to use. Watching videos, web browsing and maps are now extremely handy. I only left portrait mode for Astro Player and some games.
Download free at Market
I like Ultimate Rotation Control it allows me to set the orientation on the fly. Eg,often if I'm using the phone lying down in bed, I want to lock the orientation differently to if I'm sitting upright.
Also, you can set the orientation upside down so that the capacitative buttons are at the top and out of the way for some apps.

[Q] Stop Wallpaper Auto-Rotate

I have a Google Nexus 4 and Google Nexus 5.
I use GO Launcher Ex and GO Multiple Wallpaper.
I have 9 different pics as a separate wallpaper for each home screen. When I turn my phone sideways to landscape view it auto-rotates my screen like I want it to but the wallpaper also rotates and it only shows part of the wallpaper. I can easily push a widget toggle to turn off
auto-rotate but I want it to rotate. I don't want the wallpaper to rotate when the rest of the screen does.
Please help me figure this out. I attached screenshots of my home screens when it rotates.
Thanks in advance.

Can't single swipe in fullscreen mode to go back

I'm using gesture navigation through out the whole system (meaning i don't have software buttons for back, home, etc). When I launch any game(or app) that runs in fullscreen mode and i want to go back, i need to swipe two times in order to go back. After first swipe the notification bar appears and then after next swipe I'm able to perform "back" action. Is this a bug of a beta version? This weird behaviour never happend in previous version on Android 11. When I swipe from bottom to access desktop screen, there's no need for double swipe. This "bug" is only present when I try to go back in fullscreen app mode. Bug or feature? How can I fix that to previous behaviour like was in Android 11?

FYI, this option doesn't apply to my needs. Although I play games in fullscreen, i don't play games at landscape mode, only portrait ones.

Check the games launcher app maybe? I think there is also a mistouch prevention setting there too.
Unfortunately i can only disable gesture navigation in specific app but not what i needed. This function completely disables any swipe gestures when activated :/
