Hi...
first of all what the versiono DR that you have...???
I useGameCIH then i search for name "respect"...but if you use the last version of Dracing it doesnt work...
you can search here on the forum for the "save.dat" file and change on your mobile the old file save for the new one
use rootexplorer and go for data/dat/com.creativemobile.DragRacing/files
and change the save.dat file for the new one.
i hope it helps
latest version 1.1.13

I need the ability to prevent a user from using the games on a Pocket
PC handheld. such as solitaire and bubble breaker games, Can this be done through the registry?
You can delete hklm\software\microsoft\solitaire. It might screw it up. Or, just delete the games folder from the start menu. No matter what you do, a savvy user will find a workaround.

I assume these are works devices... we have a similar problem with our Symbol/Motorola MC9090's running WM. The only way to do it is to create a custom ROM that doesn't include the undesirable programs in the first place.
Sorry.
You could also try to over-write the solitaire.exe and bubblebreaker.exe files in \windows with a dummy file that wouldn't open (using total commander). That might get the job done, especially if you delete the start menu shortcuts. Custom roms for work devices probably aren't the way to go.
This is a good question. I can imagine lots of companies would be interested in restricting the use of WM enabled devices to certain (business related only) functions for their employees. It could cut the costs of support (solving issues as a result of user changes) and prevent the usage of the data connection for non-work related purposes (security). I believe the only option (now) is to edit the registry manually. However, smart users will probably find a way to restore the disabled functions (probably by asking help on XDA ). It would be a nice business opportunity for a developer (although open source would be preferred of course).
Try this cab. I can confirm it will kill solitare (or solitaire, depending on how it's spelled, lol). You get a 'not a trusted certificate' error when you click the start menu shortcut. The cab has no uninstall, so it won't appear in the 'remove programs' list. It should also kill bubblebreaker (unless it's spelled bubblebraker, lol).
All the cab does is install files called solitare.exe, solitaire.exe and bubblebreaker.exe into \windows. A soft reset may be necessary to get it to work (can't remember). The files are empty; they are just blank text files that I re-named.
Thanks ted it works
ur cab can block solitaire and bubble breaker games btw if you don't mind
can u make same cab that windows media kill too
Unfortunately that cab doesn't work for me (Touch Diamond, WM6.1): "Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions."

That Is One Way. Unfortunatly users can download the games and copy over that. A Registry Entry Will Work Such As....
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\DisallowRun]
"3"="windowsmeda.exe"
"2"="solitare.exe"
"1"="bubblebreaker.exe"
But the SAVY User will also find a way to delete these as well....
Created HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\DisallowRun
(by adding Policies\Explorer\DisallowRun to ...\CurrentVersion)
Added string value: name "1", data "solitare.exe".
And another, name "2", data "bubblebreaker.exe".
No change, can still run those programs.
Well this strikes me as been rather mean spirited. Why would you want to deny someone a quick game of Solitair when taking a crap for example?
Mean mean mean. Sometimes I think people who make decisions like this should just get a life.
Try that again but with this Change. "\Curre ntVersion\" Should Be "\CurrentVersion\" Typo on my part. Sorry for the confussion.

Possibly for the same reason we have disabled the games on windows PCs in work. Although this is for our production line PCs not the office ones.

Disabling the games on an office desktop PC I can understand...just. But on mobile devices and the effort required to do that is OTT in my opinion.

Thanks for the help, I did have the right spelling, but found you need to add another key if it's not there:
http://bansky.net/blog/2008/02/disallow-application-run-in-windows-mobile/
Added that and apps are properly banned.
Thanks again
Disable Solitaire and BubbleBreaker.exe
Using the HP iPAQ 210
File Explored to My Device - Windows created two new folders in directory
Solitare.exe and BubbleBreaker.exe - confuses device, problem solved.

Hex editor like any other saved game. Dungeon Hunter you can directly modify your gold and experience, as far as I can tell you can't directly change anything else. I fiddled with it for a while the first time I played it.
As for both, you search the savegame file like any other binary file. If you have 4312 gold, search for d810 in hex, which is of course little endian. ie: The hex pairs are backwards.. 4312 decimal = 10d8 in hex, so you have to search for d810
Same for experience. Just make it larger than your required experience at the end of each quest and next time you gain experience you'll gain a level. If you really want to level up, you can go back and forth between levels and modify each time.
Back up your files, it's easy to screw up.

thanks for info.
can you teach me how to do it with .so file type??
i modify framework.apk(some icons)but i don't know how to modify position to network name on lockscreen(i want to view network name in right side not on center of screen).any suggestion is welcome.
A precision of the ROM you extracted the framework(-res?).apk could help people to give you advices.
I used to modify this sort of package in an automated way with this website : http://uot.dakra.lt/ maybe you can get some techniques by applying some minor changes and compare the orignal and the version generated by the kitchen.
Good luck.
Hello xda members, this is my first post ever on this website, so if its wrong at all please let me know.
I am wondering if anyone knows how to hack the game Baseball Superstars 2012.
Ive tried using gamecih to hack the g-points but the lowest results i get for the g-point value after searching for it, changing it, and then repeating process is 25. When i do it again, it says 0 values found. I looked for a hack for the other baseball superstar games, baseball superstars 2 and baseball superstars 2011, and nonone was able to find one except a game save in korean language with max g points. I tried looking for the save in the data/data/ but couldnt find anything at all. I hope someone knows how to point me in the right direction, thanks for any help
Baseball superstars 2 g point hack
you can definitely edit g points with gamecih in baseball superstars 2.
the trick is to buy the g point items with the negative sum, you know.. minus a minus equals a plus?
look into the attachment
Baseball superstars 2012 hack
The principle is the same.....
when i had the korean apk(the first release) i could hack into it
but the file isn't available... blocked i guess..
the free version of baseball superstars 2012 from android market
works till the "changing the value" stage
but it is blocked in such a way that whenever i change the value
the damn thing quits on me!
i thought since the game requires internet connection, the game will quit
upon doing funny stuff on it,
but even when i got hold of offline apk(workable with airplane mode)
it still doesn't work..
i guess gamevil is getting smart...
P.S
i did quite a lot of research and i guess it has something to do with
the .xml files in the data folder....
data/data/com.gamevil.bb2012.global
and
dbdata/databases/com.gamevil.bb2012.global
the files there are so encrypted i don't get a thing...
hope someone capable will hack into them soon
same here, been looking on how to do it and gamecih 3.0 gets detected by this game now :-(

Looking forward to some way of hacking this as well. Maybe something similar to the Zen hack apk here for Zenonia 4?

Gameguardian usually isn't detected, and if GameCIH doesn't work I usually opt for that. Otherwise I pull my game saves out of the /data/data folder (They're almost always in shared_prefs) and use a hex editor the dirty way. There may be multiple values or files to check, and oftentimes the displayed number is different from the actual value. It may display 20, but in reality the value could be stored as 20x8, this is common to prevent easy memory hacking. Try starting from an unknown value, and using instead of new values or +/- use the ! and the = sign to eventually narrow it down. Hope you have good luck with it Havn't found an unhackable android game yet (Aside from the MMO's, which I still managed to get hp hacks on most of.)
