No data connection -EOS-stingray-cornerstone-0 - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I installed EOS-stingray-cornerstone-0 over the TeamEOS stable stingray release and lost my 4g data. Wiped cache and davlick. Had to revert back to stable to get 4g back. Anyone else run into this?

I have the 3g version and have had a similar issue which would randomly occur and randomly fix itself. Rebooting several times would fix the issue for me. On the EOS thread, someone else reflashs the rom everytime he needs a reboot as reboots seem to be a culprit in the connection issues, both 3g and wifi.

I've found I need to boot the device with the wi-fi OFF, in order for the 4g to kick in. If I boot with wi-fi on, then 4g will never work.

Data connection problems.

Does anyone else have a problem where the phone will just sit with no data connection? One minute the phone will be fine, the next, no data. Restarting the data connection with my powercontrol dropdown fixes it temporarily, but the problem always comes back.
Any help??
Try switching to 3G. Go to the dialer, type: *#*#4636#*#* Then go to "Phone information," scroll down and change "CDMA + LTE/EcDO auto" to "CDMA auto (PRL)." See if your connection sticks.
This didnt start happening until the leaked radio came out. I'm wondering if it has to do with that. However keeping the radio on 3g only seems to be working for now (5 minutes).
You could try going back to the stock radio to see if the problems goes away.
Yeah same thing here, it's been happening to me since I started flashing cm, which is also right sound the time when I first flashed the leaked radio. I'm on the stock radio, so that's not the problem, but I'm going to try switching to 3g only and see if that helps. I'll let you know tomorrow after work.
I have that issue, but it is very temporary and often occurs if I am moving around in my work office. Once I get settled back in, it will come back. But this is usually it going from 4G to nothing, then back to 3G then 4G. This is with the new radio.
I had the same problem when I was stock... I thought the email app was defective because email would stop - but then I realized data had stopped as well. A reboot always fixed it.
Now I just run it in 3G mode with CM7.
I usually see this issue when you are close to a 4G area, but not in it. Lock the radio to one or the either and see if it improves.
It happens to me once in a while. I just turn data off and back on and it kicks back in.

Still happens to me.. Its a bit annoying really.. Grrr
New radio.. BAMF 1.6
Just wanted to report back. Switching to 3g only mode has cleared up my issue with data dropping out, the radio doesn't seem to matter as I have had the issue with different radios. I am in an area with no 3g coverage. I guess perhaps it has something to do with the phone trying to acquire an LTE signal when none is available. Not sure, but again, switching to 3g only fixed it for me.

Constant Arrow up (upload) on 4G w/ no data connection

So sometimes my 4G goes crazy and has the constant upload arrow lit up and stay like that w/ no data connection.. as if it is trying to communicate with the network but not get any response back. cant figure out how to fix it other than put my phone in CDMA mode and try switching back to LTE later on in the day. anyone else have this issue and no what the deal is?
using Das BAMF 1.6.3 Remix with .6 LTE and .7 CDMA radios. also this issue occurred when i was fully stock.
I struggled with that issue most of the day yesterday (stuck up arrow, sometimes alternating to 3G/1x), but so far today, I've been on functional 4G without a hitch. I'm running BAMF 1.6.3. I'd like to think it's network related, but can't be sure. . .
I get the stuck send arrow 1-2 times per week. I restart the phone and it's fine. Since the update the only issues I have had seem to happen when verizon is working on the network.
I've only had it twice, and both times it persisted for several hours, regardless of reboots and reflashing my ROM. I think it's network-related and ya just have to wait it out.
I was getting that before from time to time but since loading up the Ginger radio and chingy's gingeritis rom the switching from 3g to lte is fantastic and no upload lte hangs like you mentioned.
I had this exact same issue yesterday!!! I'm pretty sure it was a network issue...
Got the same issue yesterday. Running stock ROM + the OTA update.
Having problems with data again today. Reboots, toggling airplane mode not working so far. . .

Sensation XE ICS WiFi/3G data issues

I've S-OFF'ed my Sensation XE and have installed ICS as per thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538032
So this is the official ROM I've installed:
OTA_PYRAMID_LE_ICS_35_S_HTC_Europe_3.32.401.105-1.73.401.4_P_release_246589q3t6rh79ci68p68k.zip
All flashed OK, but my WiFi is very unreliable.... 3G isn't that reliable either.. seem to have to reboot the phone to get it working every day or so.
I have tried resetting the phone, but still the same.. thinkiing about going back to Gingerbread...
Anyone else having similar issues?
Thanks
I'm not using the official ROM but ARHD which is based on stock.
I haven't had problems with 3G and WiFi (apart from it turning on randomly).
Does your WiFi and 3G turn off and not reconnect?
ive been having mobile data connection problems with pretty much every ics rom ive tried. its confused/frustrated me as no one will will address the issue or offer any possible solutions. only fix ive found is going to phone info and turning radio off then on, also try resetting apns to default.
@cory0821 : Exactly the same issue.. turning data on and off (either wifi radio or enable/disable mobile data) seems to 'usually' fix the issue, other times it just doesn't work until I reboot.
The other issue I have is that if I leave the WiFi on when it's 'sleeping' - it kills that battery. i.e. WiFi consume 30-40% of battery within 10 hrs.
And if I go into the advanced setting to turn off WiFi when sleeping - it makes the above data issue much worse.
I am very happy with ICS on the Sensation XE in terms of smoothness and functionality, apart from I no longer have working data... I think my next question is how to I get back to Gingerbread at it's not really workable at the moment as a Smartphone.
I'm glad it's not just me as HTC might fix it, but surprised that more people are not having the same issue.
WiFi doesn't turn off... it connects to my home WiFi without any issue (and at work), but even though it's connected, none of the apps seem to be able to send or receive data.
I had the same problem with Wi-Fi after flashing ICS. After asking many times in several threads I finally learned that if you are with T-Mobile ICS will not support Wi-Fi. I don't know the technical details, but I was told T-Mobile had to release an official "T-Mobile" ICS before Wi-Fi would work correctly. No one seems to know when the official version will be released.
I am running coredroid v5 ICS and wifi and wifi calling are now working with tmobile. There are some times that wifi calling is not working 100%, but the wifi network for market, e-mails etc. is working great.

Data connection issues

My third charge is on its way right now. My last 2 phones have had issues reconnecting to 3g if the signal drops. I have to reboot to get data back. Have to reboot 2-3 times a day because of this issue. This issue seemed to start after fp1 was pushed. I get that network signals will have hiccups, but I wait 30-45 minutes and it will not re-establish without a reboot. I've tried toggling mobile data and airplane mode, but it does not reconnect.
Anyone else have this issue?
I've had issues over the past week. Data will show 4g and yet nothing is connecting. Other times it shows no data indicator at all. Data toggle, switch to 3g, etc seems to randomly fix the issue. Can't say I've had to reboot. Usually just wait it out.
I honestly think it's a local issue for me though. I'm in Destin, FL and we just got 4g about a month ago. Figure they are fine tuning.

You really need to try pulling the battery and SIM. Wait for maybe 5-10 minutes. I have no idea what that does, but it seems to be the only thing that works for me on occasion.
I usually go to settings>wireless n network> mobile settings> system selection..... Then I just pick something else and then change back to LTE. My 4g gets reset without having to reboot.

This is a known problem with the charge. Ask any tech support person. The easiest way to fix o found was to just turn on airplane mode wait a minute and turn it off. Read is why verizon is sending me a razr, but while I'm waiting I'm using my charge and this problem is out of hand on my phone and this works everytime

[Q] Wifi to LTE handoff problem (Rogers)

When I leave a wifi network (physically), instead of the phone recognizing that it's no longer got a wifi connection and flipping to LTE, it thinks it's still on a wifi network.
The only way for me to get my connection back is to temporarily toggle wifi off. Both Wifi and LTE seem to work fine otherwise.
Anyone else experience this?
Very common bug. Hoping an ota comes out soon.

Appologies, my searches didn't turn anything up somehow. Need to take Google 101 again, I suppose.
Good to know I'm not alone with this bug.
