Anyone have the new kernel b3 - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

I'm trying to find fbis251 new beta 3 kernel, I searched the git but couldn't find it. If anyone has it please post a link to it?

The one here (RC2 at the time of writing) is the latest available:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1513287
That's the only link that's in the OP. The link under downloads will always link you to the latest version.
I removed "beta 3.1" from the thread title to avoid confusion.

I just looked and their is only one source release for evo shift, making me assume that thhe source listed is for froyo... but, man do I hope I'm wrong... I really want to compile my first kernel for the shift. I did a few for the moment and intercept but I gotta hunch that it won't be as easy as those were... please tell me I'm wrong! You would make my day!!!!

Color me intrigued. Anyone taken the dive on this RUU yet? I know 2.3 is coming, but I haven't heard or read anything about an impending release or leaked release (not counting the test RUU that's floating around XDA).
-edit-
Ah, I'm guessing it is perhaps the same as this?
-edit 2-
Okay, how many of these are duplicates? Here's another.
nm, htc once again hasn't released the source yet, but they need to!

The thread I posted is for the official Sprint OTA Gingerbread 2.3.3 ROM upgrade for thoe customer's who have Froyo 2.2 installed on their HTC EVO Shift 4G. I copied the file from my download folder after the install to my RapidShare account for those who didn't want to wait for the OTA push from Sprint.
This ruu that Football posted is a much better base to develop from than any ota update.
This is the only actual ruu I've seen for this rom so far. Football always delivers good ****.

I am sorry man but I gotta call you out on this one. Not trying to be mean but truthful.
READ.
READ. READ. READ.
Read over the offical CM7 thread in infuse development. Read it twice. Read it three times. Use google. You'll know exactly where to find the gapps for CM7.
The problem with a build like this is who supports it? LB certainly won't. It's the reason he has a build only philosophy right now.

Wondering the same thing. I know they fixed it for some others phones that had this issue. Have not heard of a fix for our phone yet.
Mentioned in other threads, by people more knowledgeable than i, i'm just relaying the info. May not be entirely accurate, but in effect, our bt chipset is a ***** to deal with and is completely unique to our phone. Basically it could be done but it's all audio routing and no one wants to bother because they'll be able to pull it from the att gb dump when it cones. Bide your time, patience is a virtue
Derpin on my infuse
Yes, there is still an issue with BT. Yes, it's true that the Infuse has a completely different chip used for BT communication. Yes, it's a ***** to deal with, and yes, there are some issues with routing. However, nothing from ATT will help this get done. The stock Samsung roms use a completely different bluetooth stack that is proprietary. CM7 uses the open source bluez stack. Nothing can really be used from the stock rom to get this working.
if i build from the dev source is it cm7.1 final with Android 2.3.7?
Definitely looking forward to checking this out. I'm considering getting an Infuse. Coming from a Cappy I'd definitely miss not having CM7.

Are these "official" IMM26 downloads?

I just stumbled across this download page that has IMM26 ROM downloads. Each has only been downloaded a few times. Are these builds official?

That is relative. Those builds were not posted by Google. While one of them is signed and therefore should be safe, they have never been released as an OTA and how they were obtained is not known.

At request of mrxkills, the XDA user who initially leaked the IMM26 build, i just created the mirror for him. He posted 3 files: 1.) Odin3+v1.81.exe, 2.) IMM26.7z (Contains Kernel For ICS Wimax IDK Stuff) and 3.) IMM26.zip (IMM26 Production Firmware (Containing 3 tar files containing Bootloader, Radio, boot.img, recovery.img, system.img, userdata.img)). These are the files i labeled with "Original Leak" and have been released for the Nexus S 4G only.
The other files have been added, as they came out and are from the following sources:
[ROM][02 FEB] ICS 4.0.4 IMM26 for GSM Nexus S (port from Nexus S 4G) [mms fixed] by evilisto
[ROM][ICS][4.0.4](02/01/2012) nuhetri-reloaded v2.0.0 by irtehun

Relatively true. The files in that Google Code project site have been posted by me, not by Google. "My Sources" are listed above. The Initial leak by mrxkills is the signed package and is signed with Google's release keys. This is much likely (just assuming!) a build that has been released by Google, but not yet to the public rather than to any internal person(s) at Sprint only.

Wrong info. You're quoting the description text of those files, that are not labeled with "Original Leak". A more detailed description of the files that are not labeled with "Original Leak", can be obtained via the linked threads above. But actualy these files are derivatives of the originally leaked files.
The bottom line: These files are user uploads - none of them has been officially released by Google to the public! However there're reasons for considering them safe. But as always: use at own risk.
Hope this helps.
Edit: I've added the sources to the downdload descriptions.

Well, the original leak is signed with Google release keys. It's true that these files are not officially publicly released by Google, but they have been signed by them - and then given to anybody who passed them to mrxkills (if he isn't/wasn't working for Sprint himself).

I love to repeat myself. Beside i doubt you wasn't aware of this fact, i was just giving a more detailed answer to OP's question. but if i knew this clown Bexton was going to be coming
BTW baxton you're really gullible i was pulling your strings the whole time to lead up to those last two post
Can I get the leaked 4.0.4, root it, and install a kernel with BLN and VooDoo?
If so, how?
I have a question that's bothering the heck out of me. Hopefully somebody can help me out.
I just successfully finished installing the IMM26 ICS 4.0.4 leaked files using Odin. All update instructions say to download 3 separate files:
Odin, IMM26.zip, and IMM26.7z.
And to unzip IMM26.zip files, resulting in 3 .tar files.
These 3 .tar files are loaded in Odin to flash the 6 things onto your phone (boot, bootloader, recovery, radio, system, userdata)
During the install process, nothing is mentioned about the IMM26.7z kernel files, and the files aren't used anywhere in this process from what i can see. Nobody explains how to update the kernel with these files. Am i missing something? Can anybody clear things up for me?
Thanks

The dev has previously stated that the app is free for XDA members. Granted the OP should link to the dev's post versus ULing somewhere else.
Edit: dug up the app thread and the OP hasn't updated it yet:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3638937&postcount=1
One of the Mod's stated not to post links:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23383068&postcount=2537
"If the OP has not posted the updated version in the thread then linking to it would be considered linking warez. If you have the newer version, please don't post links or mirrors in case the dev doesn't want the newer version on here.
Thanks"
So, OP, please link to the market until we get word from the Dev that he's posting a new link for us or that he's ok with links being posted.
