You should not be posting this, it's against forum rules/app authors wishes.

Yeah, remove the link unless you wanna get banned.

The dev has previously stated that the app is free for XDA members. Granted the OP should link to the dev's post versus ULing somewhere else.
Edit: dug up the app thread and the OP hasn't updated it yet:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3638937&postcount=1
One of the Mod's stated not to post links:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23383068&postcount=2537
"If the OP has not posted the updated version in the thread then linking to it would be considered linking warez. If you have the newer version, please don't post links or mirrors in case the dev doesn't want the newer version on here.
Thanks"
So, OP, please link to the market until we get word from the Dev that he's posting a new link for us or that he's ok with links being posted.

Anyone have the new kernel b3

I'm trying to find fbis251 new beta 3 kernel, I searched the git but couldn't find it. If anyone has it please post a link to it?

The one here (RC2 at the time of writing) is the latest available:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1513287
That's the only link that's in the OP. The link under downloads will always link you to the latest version.
I removed "beta 3.1" from the thread title to avoid confusion.

[RECOVERY][AMONRA] "smelkusmod" an excellent Amon RA-based recovery

(Not sure if this is the right subforum)
Just found & loving this recovery; lots of great features:
- 3x wipe built in
- navigate with home/menu/back, not just volume keys
- auto-reboot after nand
This recovery has been posted here once before, and was removed at the creators wishes. Last I heard he does not want this recovery to be on XDA yet. If you got permission from Smelkus to post this here, please then disregard this. Otherwise, please edit your post or delete this thread outright. Thanks much.
it's fantastic. not a better recovery available for the evo. smelkus listens to users, then incorporates it. highly approved by me. i ASSUME the op asked smelkus to do this because i KNOW he is respectful of developers and their requests.

Forum rules
12. Using the work of others.
If you are developing something that is based on the work of another Member, you MUST first seek their permission, and you must give credit to the member whose work you used. If a dispute occurs about who developed / created a piece of work, first try to settle the matter by private message and NOT in open forum. If this fails then you may contact a moderator with clear evidence that the work was created by you.
Convincing evidence will result in copied work being removed. If there is no clear evidence you created the work then in the spirit of sharing all work will remain posted on the forums.
These rules apply to all software posted on XDA unless that software comes with a license that waives these rules.

if I have been using ramonra --- is there a downside to me switching to this rope? Will it read all my old androids w/o a problem?
Basically same with some new features. I only had restore issues with first release. Grab the latest, has the fixes.

no downside, only upside. Everything else on this awesome recovery should be gained from the rootzwiki thread on this. Thx.

Unchained, nothing stays the same. Unchained, and you hit the ground running.
I've asked the moderators to close this thread. To avoid cross-forum posting, I've asked drellisdee permission to post my version here per XDA rules. This is the reason I don't have a thread here now. Until that happens, please refrain from posting on XDA about this and comment on Rootz for now.
Good rule is to let the person doing work create OPs for their work. Chances are they haven't created a thread on a forum for a reason. Always PM them first!
Thanks.

ATTN ROM authors: Your 4.2 AOSP keyboard is very outdated. Use the latest one.

http://www.droid-life.com/2012/11/0...oid-4-2-keyboard-made-available-for-flashing/
The old build has the ugly popup bubble while you trace out words. The new one has the pretty box.
You've posted this in every thread, if you dont like what they put in they're rom then replace it yourself instead of cluttering the development thread and q&a and general

This is the wrong section, and i'm sure they realize its outdated one, and if its not just leave a simple post in there thread stating that is and posting the updated apk for them to download
Every thread would mean all 6 sections so only 3 little over reacting
Free forums can post what you please
Mods don't like it they will remove it
No need for a wannabe mod
Thanks for the updated keyboard LL and bringing it to our attention

If it bothers you that much jusy install the new one yourself. Its not hard. Its easier than making a bunch of complaint (useless) threads about it.

This ROM is not allowed to be posted or distributed on XDA.
The ROM was removed because it contained warez and so the ROM is not allowed to be reposted on XDA. It contained a themed version of Fancy Widget Pro. Paid apps cannot be posted in roms. That's why the thread was completely removed. It was not removed because of themed icons as the OP claimed.
Now, the issue was further complicated by the fact that the op some how obtained an unreleased copy of my themed widget (the warez in question) that was used for internal team testing only and never posted publicly. He claims to have downloaded it from another site and didn't even know who themed it. I contend that he got from our ViperOneS beta test team chat, of which prior to this he was a member, as that was the ONLY place that version was ever posted.
Regardless, he then included it in his ROM. Had he asked for permission to include it in his ROM, he would have found that I had released a version on XDA based on the FREE version on Fancy Widgets, and had he asked, would have gotten my permission. He didn't. XDA looks poorly on this and that's why the moderation team acted swiftly to correct the situation.
Thanks for the clarification. Sucks because it was a good ROM but I understand why.
I use an entirely different weather widget I purchased. Is there a way to uninstall the widget in question?
